Ordered of just eat, brilliant service and friendly over the phone, food was delicious and came warm. Catered to my requests and gave us a complimentary bottle of drink which was very much appreciated. Best kebab in luton, thank you very much for your service, only kebab I would get in luton!

I am very satisfied from this shop. I always buy fish and chips in most of the shops but I am never satisfied. But this Mr chips shop's fish and chips are absolutely fantastic. I will buy definitely again and again. Thankyou

In my opinion this is one of the best chippy in the area.

We have used Mr Chips for many years and have always enjoyed the food, Tonight was no exception, EXCECPT for the price. £6.50 for a large chips that is no larger than a large chips from Ocean Breeze? A large Cod for £9.40 that was no larger than a regular we used to get from them? Sorry Mr Chips, this is the last time we order from you, as good as your food is, your prices are just too much for us. It has been a pleasure. Chris and family.

£10.30 for a haddock and chips. Taste was OKAY. Nothing super special. Can't complain. Thanks

It's a chip shop so don't expect Michelin Cuisine, but they do a nice curry sauce

Otherworldly, this shop is truly the embodiment of all fish and chips have to offer with an extra delightful twang of Donna as a wonderful delicacy. Whoever said the chips taste like cardboard must’ve been confused by the extravagant flavour in the food. Consider me a regular customer🙌🙌🙌

First time having ordered here and delivery. Was looking for a long time for a good chippie and Mr Chips certainly delivered! Piping hot, fast and delicious. Fish was crispy on outside and moist on the inside, not greasy at all. Massive portions and very tasty. Great service, I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Tried Mr Chips for the first time after a friends recommendation. Lovely chips, great chicken shish, good sized portions and fish was really nice. The team were particularly patient as I pre-ordered and changed my order twice. Highly recommend.

Ordered a doner kebab and chips from here this evening and the doner was not good. It has been changed. There is no taste of lamb what so ever. Cant describe the taste as it has none. Bland rubber

No surprise why this gets such high ratings. Food is always fresh. Good portions and you can see that they keep it very clean. Large doner and std chips £10.

I don't come here often but every now and then my partner and I treat ourselves. We normally have haddock and chips. Haddock is freshly cooked and is really good. Chips are decent too! The guys were even kind enough to let me sample some of the kebab meat while I was waiting last time! Friendly service 👌🏻

I used to go to Mr chips all the time for their food their standard was honestly really high. However after a really long time I stumbled upon them again and got a doner meat kebab. Bearing in mind the actual owners are polite so you wouldn't think they'd do this but they gave us mouldy doner which made me literally vomit and I missed work and so did my husband. We both ate the same thing. Never going back.

The food I ordered was worth the money. They gave me a decent portion. It was very clean and tasty. Clean meaning you can see its fresh. Like the chips and the fish. I ordered kebab as well trust me it was the freshest I have tried in town. Very very good service.

I have been ordering off these for well over a year. I dont know what's changed. They use to be great. Now everything is dry. Sausages are dry definitely not fresh. There donor meat is very salty now. Chips are dry and re heated. It's a shame because they use to be great!

The delivery was quick, but that's the only real positive I have. I did try to order online through their website seeing as it has an option which didn't work, took me to a load of advertising. When I phones up to order we asked about delivery and the gentlemen said anything over £10 is free after confirming our address. We made our order of three portions of chips, a pie, savaloy and fish he then told us we were on £11 and it wasn't enough! I reiterated what he said and then he said not it's £15.00 ok so we ordered a couple of cans of coke and took a moment to decide what else we could have and he said that's £15.00 I'd like to see how much a can of coke is!!! Although we still went on with our purchase as it had good reviews. We didn't actually receive one of the portions of chips, the food was stone cold, the chips weren't very nice either. It's a shame because I've heard so many good things.. Should have seen the warning signs. So £15 for 2 portions of cold chips, an uncooked savaloy and a pie.. Won't be ordering again unfortunately.

Disappointing and depressing! Ordered a cheeseburger and chips. The burger was half the size of the bun and the chips were tasteless.

After probably 12(ish) years of ordering by phone for deliveries from this chippy apparently 2.2 miles is now too far to deliver !! Tried "Just eat" thinking it's gone "exclusive" but no I think they only deliver within walking distance now to save on the rising fuel costs.

Consistently good chips and big fish. They also sell kebabs which look good but I've never tried as I go for the fish. Friendly staff.

Stopped off as passing by and wish we hadn't. Dried out fish and chips taste like cardboard. Ruined our lunch and will know better next time to drive on by. Many choices in the area and this rates the lowest.

Had burger and chips from there other day. It was simply awful no taste and it was disgusting. Couldn't finish it as it was horrible. Wouldn't use this place again. Go somewhere else don't be disappointed like me

This place changed hands recently and I tell you now one of the best fish and chips places around. The low score was obviously for the previous owner but this new guy, he's definitely cut from a different cloth. Every time we get food from here it's always fresh and great value for money. This is my honest experience for what it's worth....

Ordered 2 kebabs and chips and pot of chilli sauce....no chilli sauce and chips were unbeatable....kebabs were nice.

My chips had dust in from when they were drilling while open, absolutely horrible, i tried to complain but no one in they understood what i was saying all they just was "we business we business" not even a sorry! Wont ever go back there again - 0 stars

Helpful and polite staff. Food is yummy and freshly prepared. Menu has a nice variety. However, there is limited spaces for seating - there's one table with 4 seats. But then again, there can only be as many tables as space will allow.

Nice sized portion of chips and when you ask for a large cod it is large not just loads of batter, friendly staff and delivery is available, food is well priced and good variety including fish chips kebabs pies and burgers would visit again

If I could give minus stars I would. Worst experience! Cold food and fly in my food. Called up the owner politely to say I received this and he turned around and said it was my fault that I could of put a fly in my food. I said to him it would be nice if you apologised to start with because I am not shouting. Checked the food standards on the Food Standards Agency website, it says they haven't had an food inspection...I wonder why!

Fish bites was better bites, chips was fairly good.

Ordered this evening the food arrived in good time, but unfortunately one of the steak and kidney pie must have been out of date it tasted off and the smell was nasty, We did not discover this until my gran-daughter refused to eat it

I have had the lamb döner, lamb kofte and chicken shish kebabs on many occasions and they have always been very good. This rating is based on kebabs only. I have also tried their fish and chips but was unimpressed.

Convenient and best one for area

My order was placed at 21:30 but didn't arrived until 23:20 (they stated maximum of 60 minutes delivery time). When the food was delivered it was warm but not hot and the order was wrong ( I ordered a battered sausage but a plain one was delivered). I tried to contact them to rectify the issue but couldn't get through.

Food is Good staff are respectful.

Lovely fish and chips but my one gripe is when I have them delivered they are so greasy it has soaked through the polystyrene container
