Had Fish Chips from here and it was amazing fish was so white and fluffy batter was just right not to thick and chips were great love this place friendly staff and the price is not bad either

The best local chippy! Chips are double cooked and were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. I also tried a spam fritter and that was great! The batter on the fish was light and crunchy and the fish itself was fresh and flaky, moist and tender. Thank you!

Have used this place many times over the years never again £23 I spent this time not even proper chips! The fish was really thin and the chips were terrible ate the fish bites but what a waste of money might aswell have just put my money in the bin! Not even good frozen chips either! What a joke

Just got 2 medium fish and chips £19. Got it home and plated 1 fish on each plate, went in the bag for the chips and there was another parcel of 2 fish! So 1 portion was 2 huge pieces of fish. Same with each tray of chips! Enough in each serving for 2 people. Fish was lovely, hot with thin crispy batter, chips not so good, very dry. However overall a pleasant enough tea time meal for 2 (or 4) 😋

Chips tonight were undercooked Seems to be a huge turnover in staff. Will give it a miss for a while.

fish was fresh chips were fine till I tipped 2 cartons of curry on. absolutely disgusting. never tasted anything as bad. think the kids had made it. 19.50. pm. 26/12/23. never again.

Very poor batter was yellow and soggy some of the fish was grey and the chips were dry really disappointed

Ordered 3 large cod, ended up with 6 regular. Far too much but great if you have a large appetite.

Phoned our order in they stated a time 10minutes. Was ready and waiting. Quick friendly service. Good size portion.

Good food, excellent curry sauce....... But literally never have anything ready and usual wait time is about 10-15 minutes.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING, OWNERS KNOW NOTHING ABOUT COOKING OR CUSTOMER SERVICE, vile, I cannot express how horrible this food was or how vile to staff are. The food was raw and I was refused a refund after being messed around. The sausage smelt like wet dog and the peas where stale, I honestly think they dumpster dive for their food. Somebody shut these down!

Very expensive for a basic portion of chips and peas cost me £3.30 , and chips were not the best , wouldn't rush back to pay the premium they charge

Will only go when the owners are working... The two younger ones the white girl and boy are bad... Every time they have served have messed up our orders, orderd two sausage in batter and chips and then chips and curry sauce got two small sausage and a small chips and no sauce, then we orderd again a few weeks after orderd two large chips a cod a large batters sausage, got a small chips and two cod. Today orderd their fried chicken and chips she said oh I don't think we do chicken... They do she gave us two small chicken and a tiny portion of chips wasn't their fried chicken either like we asked and she didn't say anything about it being spicy as spice does mess with my partners stomach most of the time aswell... Yet when the owners are working we get what we asked for...

Just finished fish n chips from here. Absolutely delicious, a medium fish more than covered the dinner plate. Excellent value!!

Great tasting fish and chips but can be cold at times and the portions fluctuate now and again but the taste and quality is consistent.

Portion size was a joke I ordered cod bites and chips and the cod bites were the size of chicken nuggets

What an absolute rip off this place is. £3 for a portion of chips and I'd be lucky if I've got half a potato. Stay well clear unless you like your eyeballs ripped out
