Mr Chan Takeaway in Fife

I have been looking for a good Chinese takeaway ever since I moved to Leven a few months ago and I’ve been so disappointed so far, that was until last night! It was time to try yet another Chinese takeaway place and omg Mr chan!!! We got a chicken curry, chicken chow mein, shredded chicken in a sweet and sour sauce, chips and rice and I can’t fault a single thing about it! Everything was made to perfection and everything tasted absolutely Delicious!! Customer service was excellent and Mr chan was so polite and so was the delivery driver! We were so happy eating away at our Chinese with a smile on our face like yep mr chan takeaway is our new favourite place!! We will definitely order again! Thank you mr chan!

Best Chinese takeaway for miles! Everything that comes from mr chan is tasty. Had many Chinese takeaways from London to Scotland and he’s the finest.

I ordered a takeaway but got delivered a “throw away” instead. The crispy shredded beef was so crispy there was literally no beef in it; covered in sweet and sour sauce with overpowering vinegar “aromat”. The ribs were dry, hardly any meat on it. Thoroughly dissatisfying experience, not worth the wait nor the money. The only take away I got is to never order from Mr Chan again.

Without any doubt Mr Chan’s is the best by far in the area. Have now tried enough of the menu to voice my opinion. Their sweet and sour Cantonese style is near perfect, salt and pepper chips excellent. I find the curry (extra hot) hands down is better than anywhere else and also really enjoyed the won ton and prawn toast. Highly recommended and wouldn’t bother going back to any of the other takeaways in Levenmouth as they all suffer from consistency and at best have 1 or 2 average dishes. Well done Mr Chan. Delivery avoiding peak times is also super quick and they always deliver hot food… 👏🏽

Usually order a chicken breast curry every week , a lady answered the phone this time didn’t ask my address called back and sent the wrong droid up. Called back to be told it wasn’t her fault and I had said it wrong. She told me she wasn’t paying attention when she took my order due to people talking to her in the shop

Best Chinese takeaway in leven.The customer service also excellent. We can see the food they are making from the kitchen. Worth for penny

Decent Chinese we got delivered to accommodation while staying near. Very quick and friendly service

This would have been 5tars but they have moved premises and my delivery has went up £2.00 due to distance, but the food is fantastic used them for years and never a change in quality, anything salt and pepper is my first choice,

Great meals , quick service both in shop & delivery.. would highly recommend... I wrote this originally 4 years ago and have just read that Mr Chan has moved to Kennoway.. Best of luck with your new premises Dennis and family and thanks for the delicious meals

Chips fried rice with peas & onion & curry sauce best in town

Just got a delivery from here.. Waited 1 an half hours on it chips were cold and stale probably last nights... No curry tops which was looking forward to and the chicken foo yung was cold also. Normally very good food from here but most times I pick it up...would have gotten it picked up and replaced but was starving and not prepared to wait another hour and a half worst delivery meal I've ever had.... Never getting a delivery from here again.. Its usually good from here but standards have fallen.

We've been buying takeaways from Mr Chan for years. Consistently good, reasonable prices and he's a very friendly helpful guy. If you have dietary requirements, ie. Vegan/vegetarian he will accommodate. Highly Recommended 🖒

Usually food is great no complaints but house special curry was runny and no spice to it. Crispy shredded chilli beef no spice to it at all and beef really really chewy

This meal was disgusting. Cold, stale, chicken was so overcooked it was hard. Whole meal inedible. Will not Return!
