It is just an ordinary but well used place, mostly by local people. Convenient to the local shops, and Leicestershire Record Office if you need to go there at any time. Prices are what one would expect.

The lady who took my order was polite and efficient but when my hot sandwich was brought to the table there was no eye contact from the waitress, no knife or serviette and delivered at arms length. No sauces on the table. Other customers were given cutlery in a serviette. I shall try another cafe next time as I felt my custom wasn’t valued. The food, and coffee, were good though.

Average lunchtime visit here. We were looking for somewhere to dine at lunchtime and this place looked good. It was busy and had a good menu. But food served was average and not worth the price we paid. I noticed afterwards that there are better eating places in the area with good value. We don't mind paying above average if the food served was good enough. But sorry this place did not lived up to expectation.

I have become a regular here - I ought to branch out & try something other than the all day breakfast 🍳 but it is too nice.

Had the opportunity to visit here several times in 2017. Food is excellent, well prepared and reasonably priced. Staff are very polite and friendly. Look forward to many more meals in 2018.
