It is just an ordinary but well used place, mostly by local people. Convenient to the local shops, and Leicestershire Record Office if you need to go there at any time. Prices are what one would expect.

The lady who took my order was polite and efficient but when my hot sandwich was brought to the table there was no eye contact from the waitress, no knife or serviette and delivered at arms length. No sauces on the table. Other customers were given cutlery in a serviette. I shall try another cafe next time as I felt my custom wasn’t valued. The food, and coffee, were good though.

Average lunchtime visit here. We were looking for somewhere to dine at lunchtime and this place looked good. It was busy and had a good menu. But food served was average and not worth the price we paid. I noticed afterwards that there are better eating places in the area with good value. We don't mind paying above average if the food served was good enough. But sorry this place did not lived up to expectation.

Had the opportunity to visit here several times in 2017. Food is excellent, well prepared and reasonably priced. Staff are very polite and friendly. Look forward to many more meals in 2018.

My daughter & I went to the Wigston Cheesecake shop on 8th February 2021 approximately 11.30 am. We saw a cheescake we liked in the open fridge cabinet and tried to find someone to help us. My daughter saw the young female assistant doing something behind the counter and after a waiting for her we had to get her attention and ask if we could have the cheesecake we chose. She took it to the back & after a while returned to start writing on her clipboard and she totally ignored us. I asked her what happened to our cheesecake and she said that it was out of date and should not have been on display in the first place and continued writing on her clipboard. We received no apology and she didn't seem to care about us. We walked out in disbelief at the terrible service. We then went to Gregg's instead across the road and got some delicious doughnuts and the lady was so friendly and gave the best service with a smile. The cheesecake shop should learn from Gregg's what service with a smile means. WELL DONE GREGG'S & THANKS FOR YOUR EXCELLENT SERVICE! Will never visit the Cheesecake Shop again!

15 The ParadeMy 1st visit here & great service & value for money, My best ever scrambled egg on toast & such great service. Looks like they have a lot of regular customers which is a good sign. Apparently been open a year now & the owner made me feel welcome. Very clean & well kept.

55 Leicester RoadEstuve yendo a un café de amigos un domingo para desayuno inglés completo durante los últimos dos años y el extraño sábado siempre fue genial, , , , fue esta mañana 28 - 9 - 24 nuevos dueños, , , ¿qué puedo decir que tuve que enviar el desayuno de vuelta una vez, ya que hacía frío helado la chica me trajo uno fresco, que también estaba frío , , frijoles y huevo frito era frío faro cocinado a una pulgada de su vida sólo lo dejó en la mesa , la espera es demasiado larga y poca gente salió , , no vamos a volver
