Mozza in Renfrewshire

Visited today. Served by a lovely guy who was very friendly and explained what one of the toppings on my pizza was. Pizzas were the best we have had in a long time. Will defo be back!

First visit here and won't be the last. Best pizza we have tasted in a long time. Dough was lovely and toppings great. Staff were very nice but rushed off their feet.

Wow just wow we have been here twice and the pizzas are just amazing I have never had a pizza like this and the service is excellent.

Three times I have sat in Mozza with my son, always facing the kitchen... I love the anticipation. To see the staff pottering about doing their thing, just waiting on the big reveal. My son and I make chat as we wait... me staring past him looking at the kitchen, waiting on the pizza's making their entrance... my son watching my face, waiting on my eyes bulging with excitement. It arrives! The smell, the smile, the condiments!!! It's all there. Everything I ask for in a pizza experience. Value for money? "Forget-about-iiiiiittttt! (insert generic Italian American accent). So, yeah.. the place to be for a really tasty pizza! Indeed! But... surely it's not as good from the comfort of my own home?!?! Well, I decided to put that to the test at the weekend. I was home alone, I was the Glasgow Kevin McAllister and I wanted PIZZAAAA... I placed my order. Mozza gave me tracking details. I waited. It arrived in good time. And boy I was not disappointed! As pulled back the cardboard door to pizza heaven I was transported back to my seat in Mozza! It was everything I had hoped for and more. There is something to be said for eating top quality pizza whilst sitting in your jammies. (Wonder if that's allowed at Mozza, Silverburn as desired attire!?) Anyway... I wish I could put no stars. Pizza was shocking for all food lovers present. Personal I felt sick and could not eat the simple margarita pizza. Blonde lady was nice. Guy was intimidating. Then they ate McDonald’s and it felt like even they new their food was sh1t. Even the flour covered cook enjoyed the McDonald’s.

Affordable and much better than Paesano! Just so tasty and portions are really generous. Wish the meat was halal! But I would highly recommend.

My 3rd time visiting this restaurant and both visits have been great. The food has been great. The staff have been great and the price has been great! However, what a fall from grace for this fine establishment. Sunday evening, just eating our lovely pizzas that were served hot and tasty... and there he walks through the staff entrance... a member of staff, walking about the restaurant floor, and into the back, before leaving... wearing a Celtic top! This was the same day the Old Firm was on. Now, not being a football fan myself, I have no allegiance either way when it comes to those two clubs. However, it is about standards and this restaurant has lost all respect I had for it. What kind of establishment has it's staff walking about with a Celtic top on during work hours? Standards have slipped over at Mozza, Silverburn. Must try harder.

We had a terrible trip to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We arrived just before 6pm and the restaurant was fairly quiet, given the huge number of tables they have. The waiter who seated us was polite and took our drinks order, returned with them and took our food order without any issues. As we waited for our food the restaurant became much busier. One thing I noticed was the large number of takeaway orders being prepared by the kitchen, and how flustered all of the staff were becoming. We waited, and waited, and waited. The table next to us, who arrived after us, managed to get their food and finish but yet ours hadn’t even arrived. I then asked a waiter what was happening and he went away and returned with the manager to tell us that our order had not even been put in, despite us sitting there for 40 mins without anyone thinking to check. At this point we left, hungry. I actually feel sorry for the mostly young staff working in this place. These chain restaurants need to stop opening so many huge branches and then filling them with skeleton staff that have neither the capacity nor the skill to cope with running a busy restaurant. One glance could tell you that the small kitchen and 3 chefs simply isn’t enough to fulfil that many orders, especially when you include takeaway orders as well. Unfortunately, due to the high footfall of Silverburn, this place will probably just continue this process without any care to the number of disappointed customers as they will continue to make money, but if anyone reads this then I urge you to avoid this place like the plague.

I went to kill some time with my two boys as my younger boy was at a party. Service was excellent from Simone. I accidentally ordered a mushroom pizza for my son and Simone noticed my error and immediately prepared a fresh different pizza at no extra cost. Pizzas were nice and the kids menu is great value. We attended Mozza for a quick dinner after a day out, and I have to say that it easily ranks amongst one of the worst experiences I have ever had dining out in Glasgow. We arrived to find only one staff member wearing a mask correctly, with one other staff member not covering their nose. There was no social distancing between tables, nor any protective screens between tables. The pandemic clearly hasn't hit Mozza for the last 2 years. We were served by a few members of staff throughout our meal, and none of them seemed particularly happy to be there. Staff were short with us, and generally seemed like serving anyone was at the bottom of their list of priorities. I watched one staff member look around for something to do whilst several tables either needed cleared, or needed a bill brought over. We waited some time for our drinks to arrive, as I believe there was only one member of staff working the bar. This is perfectly understandable due to covid, so why are the staff not taking appropriate precautions? My glass had lipstick stains on it, but once again, I just excused it. These things happen. The food itself was okay, no real complaints there save for some stoned olives. Nobody checked in with us at all during the meal, so even if there had been a complaint, I would have nobody to raise it to. After yet another long wait for the table to be cleared, I asked a member of staff for the bill, who did not even stop to listen to me as she kept walking. What really took the cake for me was that when the bill did eventually come (brought by the 6th member of staff to deal with us that night - were they playing rock paper scissors in the kitchen to decide who would serve us?), there was no option to remove the "optional" service charge. I am completely livid at the service we received and have no intentions of returning. If you're looking for a nice evening meal, you'd be better off elsewhere. Lack of precautions, lack of customer care, and if they continue like this, lack of customers.

Food very greasy plus it had large uncooked bits of garlic all over it. Staff members seem to be young kids who do not want to be there and let you know that's how they feel. I'd avoid as this place gets bad reviews removed this is the 2nd time I put this up.

If you're at Silverburn and want something to eat don't bother joining the queue at the first restaaurant you come to. Walk a little further to Mozza. My husband and I did just that yesterday - a wet Monday - and were so glad we did. The pizza, a lovely mix of gorgonzola and Parma ham, was absolutely delicious and, as the kitchen is on view, could be seen to be freshly prepared. As oldies, we had one between the two of us and it was easily big enough for that. A large glass of wine for hubby and prosecco for me and, to finish, strawberry tiramisu for him and Italian ice cream for me. The total cost? Just under £30. I thought that was excellent value. Our waiter Kopi was lovely and it was good to see the manager clearing and setting tables. Obviously an effective team in place here. I took the time to thank the chef as we left and he clearly takes his job seriously, asking me what I had had and what I had liked in particular. We haven't eaten out very often in the past 2 years and hadn't heard of Mozza but I believe there are a couple of other branches in Glasgow. I'll be looking out for the in future and you should too!

We visited the Mozza in Silverburn. The food was delicious and so was the service! Hayley was our server and she was so friendly and attentive. Was in on Saturday night with my wife before the cinema. Sophie our waitress was friendly and got us anything we needed aswell as the kitchen staff who were very fast and make a great pizza! We will definitely be going back.
