Zambretto in Renfrewshire

I was disappointed. The food was boring. Instead of grilled chicken there was a piece of breast from the oven. Buying a piece of chicken and three potatoes for 20 pounds is stupid. It was the same with fish....salves are not enough for service. Forks lying right on the table. Disposable place.

Amazing food despite a busy Mothers Day. Will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing! Few times I've been now, and I stay in ayrshire! If I want to go to a lovely Italians,.this is the place to go!

Not as good as it used to be. Pizza was cold on the outside and warm in the middle. Got garlic chips and they were very cold, sent back and replaced very quickly. Pasta sauce was ok. Service was slow, not staffs fault, just a lack of them. Not a patch on Genova or Cafe Royale. Totally overpriced too. Only booked as others were full. Won’t be rushing back or recommending.

Absolute shambles of a restaurant between them and Just eat they will happily deliver the wrong pizza which was completely different to the order and then just eat not refund the money as and restaurant also take no responsibility for helping customers in situations like this. Wasting £15-20 on food may as well throw it away. Should really be helping customers and not giving this shocking service don't think I would order from here again. Disgraceful service

Really disappointed with tonight’s delivery as we were missing x2 slushes, garlic bread with mozzarella, we also asked for the pasta to not contain spring onion which can be found on the notes left to the restaurant. I contacted the restaurant on two occasions and was advised to contact Uber eats for refund. I only noticed half way through the meal the garlic bread was missing but didn’t bother to phone them back as it would have been pointless. Waste of 35 quid. Won’t be back

Placed a delivery order for Valentines , 2 1/2 hours later NO FOOD after calling the Restaurant 3 times , Ultimately accepting NO responsibility for the £’s taken or lack of delivery , PLEASE DON’T GET DELIVERIES FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE TERRIBLE AT DEALING WITH COMPLAINTS

Staff very attentive. A wee bit of touch up on walls . Seating a bit worn . Meal I ordered was not good apart from the chips and veg explained to server who then reduced meal price

Pizza was outstanding! Also freshly made, I got the steak fajitas pizza and the gf got the same with the creamy cajun chicken pasta, unbelievable good, will definitely be back.

We were a large group including children and the food was fantastic! The girl who served us couldn't be any nicer, bent over backwards to accommodate our dietary requirements (I think her name might have been Lauren?). The place was a little loud for me, but that's just cos I'm sensitive to noise. But 100% would go back!

6 of us went for Xmas night out 22/12 Was offered the festive menu at £25 Include glass of Prosecco and 3 course meal We sat down about 745 and the waiter who I think is the owner took our drinks order He Returned and we ordered out starters and main course at no time were we told to order our desserts When we did try to order our desserts we were told the kitchen closes at 9 it was now 915 The attitude of the staff was rude unhelpful and confrontational After an argument we eventually got our desserts Never again will I visit this place We should have been told when we were offered the festive menu that we needed to order all at the same time Shocking hostile attitude

Visited zambertto tonight on the 22nd December 2023 at 7.45 as expected was very busy and very noisy . I work as carer for a young person with additional support needs and likes to use makaton to communicate. I took the young person to our table he became very excited due to the busy atmosphere. A waitress called Cora came over and got down to the young person level and introduced herself . She watched myself as I did the signs back to the young person and she knew Makaton and showed the young person the sign for her name . As the food came over she came over several times to check on the food asking him “ if he was enjoying his food “ copying myself and the sign I was using to communicate with the young person . As we walked back to the toilet she could see the young person getting over excited and supported myself back to our seat and was dancing with us as we danced with the music from the lived singer . She continued checked on us for down to his level was talking to him and he was giving her a cuddle showing affectionate towards her . We also managed to spill a drink all down ourselves she took the young person over to get towel roll and helped support him to clean himself . Her service and the way she interacted with myself and young person was outstanding esspically on a night that was so busy . She made us feel so welcome and made us both feel so at ease as these busy environments can be very overwhelming for an individual with additional needs. Young person took a shinning to her as he said he name all the at home. I am really grateful for her service . I hope it doesn’t go unnoticed. Great service and great experience .

Didn’t eat in but ordered online . No garlic bread which a paid for and garlic sauce was there but no point paying for that with no bread. Pasta was cooked well sauce was a bit sweet and chicken was small dry cubes . Overall prettty disappointing as I had looked forward to trying this place . Hopefully I’ll get my £3.50 back for missing bread

Christmas night out with friends, and despite Zambretto being very,very busy, our table was ready for us. Staff were genuinely warm & and friendly. Drinks and food orders were served very efficiently. All absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back. We'll done to everyone. Great team work.

Popped in for the first time in a wee while for a mid-week meal. Good value menu. Starters were great. I enjoyed my rib of beef but my wife's was too fatty. New Victoria Málaga on tap - nice change.

Lasagne had 1/4 inch of burnt matter floating on the top presumably cheese. Sauce tasted of raw tomato not like a normal lasagne - it was acidic.

Great on a Friday night meal and entertainment first class going back again soon. On ordering drinks my wife s brandy mines ale . Sadly they had no ale on hand staff member went out to a local off license and brought back some ales .thank you

Home delivery with hand and mushroom pizza and chargrilled chicken - could have made better at home, this pretty much tasted like an amateur had some chicken and stock cubes - the garlic and Parmesan chips have gone way downhill since we last ordered. Cancelled a booking for lunch in December due to poor meals we got. Delivery was quick, food was dire. Ordered Sat 16th Nov.

Great service, average food. The service here was great and very welcoming l. The lady who served us was lovely and was great at alerting me with things that were within my dietary requirements/restrictions etc however the food was quite bland and not really much flavour

I was there for dinner and the quiz night on a Wednesday. The food was good and the quizmaster did a great quiz.

Just been for a meal and normally happy wih everything, maybe because you were so busy and not enough staff, two girls serving the younger one was amazing, the other one called Hailey has absolutely no people skills, face tripped her the whole time she served us, also saying, thats three times I said chicken burger, shouldn't be in the job if she can't handle it, I understand people can get stressed but the other girl was running about like a nutter also and she was so helpful apart from thst the food was gorgeous but maybe have a word with your staff and a wee extra waitress would have helped x

Zambretto was lovely, great food, and good portion. The Haggis bon bon and Seabass were a delight. I think price was fair. I found the seats at front on high tables a tad uncomfortable. Music later on was great. Pleasant evening otherwise.

5 stars for my experience. I had a nice chicken burger the staff was amazing and very nice. It's a place to be when you need to recharge you're mental batteries.😊

Zambretto is a fantastic place to eat. Great food and the staff are very friendly. Quiz night on a Wednesday is a lot of fun too. Would definitely recommend.

This place never disappoints. Ordered a carbonara for collection but the paper bag broke and food ended up on the roadside. The manager was so lovely, remade us another one and upon waiting inside the restaurant it was so busy and the vibe was great. Definitely be back hopefully to dine in as would like to try their pizza dishes. Thanks team!

Popped in midweek for an unplanned Dinner. Greeted warmly and got a booth by the window. Service was good, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious I asked for my goats cheese pasta to be given a wee spicy kick and it was perfect. Fab wee set menu as well so it was amazing value. We will definitely be back.

Restaurant is lovely decor great seating well placed for privacy and comfort but service really lacking we sat in back waitress totally uninterested drinks came quickly meal not so quickly husband's fish was burnt black, and my spaghetti arribiata was cold had to ask for dessert which took forever then had to search for waitress so we could pay the bill we were the only ones in the room at the time so a quick check now and then would have made sense £11.95 for bowl of cold spaghetti bit expensive will not be back which is a pity because the restaurant is lovely

Been here 4 times this year and food is so nice I really go for the chocolate fudge cake coz dessert is the best bit of eating out lol But I have tried the spaghetti bolognese, salt and chilli pizza and the lasagne and the chicken burger only one I wasn't keen on was lasagne as was a bit burnt round edges and wasn't as good as spaghetti bol. Good customer service wee blonde woman got my friend an orange slice for her Coke as she doesn't like lemon or lime and another young woman got me a box for left over pizza another time both of them were really chatty and friendly I always recommend this place for a cheap mate date as they do a value menu for lunch and dinner.

Chose to go here with my best friend and her partner after my mother's funeral for lunch as I'd been there before. Like my previous visit, it didn't dissapoint. The service was good and the food was fresh and delicious. So much so that my friend wanted to come back, and she's very concerning. It has wheelchair access, outside seating and is centrally placed, under the train station. I've dined in restaurants in London with Michelin Stars that don't match up. I recommend the haggis & black pudding balls. Check it out!

Great bistro/restaurant with very friendly staff and great food. Even though my most recent visit was under sad circumstances, after my mother's funeral, my visit there cheered me up. I had lunch with two friend's that are foodies like me, and they were very impressed. The food is fresh and delicious, especially the haggis and black pudding balls. Living in London I've dined at Michelin starred restaurant's that couldn't compete with it. When we we're there, there was a table of nine next to us. Five disabled/paraplegic children in wheelchairs with four carers having a day out. We spent four hours there, drinking cocktails, apart from the designated driver 😱. I couldn't rate it high enough...go check it out!!

We were a party of 8 celebrating my daughters birthday, the service was 1st class , polite quick and efficient. The food was outstanding and delicious, truly had a wonderful experience and will most definitely be returning, thank you to all the staff. Also amazing value for money

we all had a great time at Zambretto, showed to table quickly and drinks came quickly, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about produce, the food arrived quickly and was very fresh, can not fault this place, 1st time we have been, if we in Paisley again we would return here, the expresso and french martini's were amazing, excellent service from Jivaente, unsure if i have pronounced her name correctly.

Don’t order from here. Order was constantly delayed and then (no fault of the restaurant) the just eat delivery driver just chose a random house and left the order. Not the one on the address. Tried calling the restaurant numerous times, goes unanswered. Probably trying...

Very pleasent atmosphere, music from 70', 80'...greatest hits :) Service excellent, in very good mood. Food classic Italian, in my opinion pretty authentic.

I was with my family today at 1 p.m. I ordered 2 pizzas and macaroni chees, we waited for over an hour. I asked when my order would be ready, the staff treated us very badly, they said if we didn't want to wait any longer, they told us to leave the restaurant. I've been here a few times already but no one has ever treated me so badly.😠

We just ordered a takeaway from here. I swear to god, that was the best Italian food I've had in this country. I tried to phone yous just to tell you how good it was but yous must be busy. We got the loaded meat fries, ABSOLUTELY banging. Never tasted a sauce like it. 2 of the N'Duja arriabata (butchered the spelling) which was outstanding and the chocolate fudge cake. I hate sponge cake, but it got wolfed. All that and it was only £30. I don't know how yous did it, but that was unreal. I'm still eating but I had to write a review. We've definitely found our new favourite restaurant.

One of the nicer and cleaner places in scotland but servers are not attentive food is average. Comfortable ambience which is expensive to maintain. Bartenders were friendly and acompadating. Unfortunately it's probably the best spot in the area.

Can't fault this place at all. Great atmosphere lovely waiter service and everything I ordered was totally amazing panko prawns - super tasty and crispy could definitely eat loads. Lasangua - best I have ever tasted even the chips were awesome puffy and curled slightly...

I've been there the first time there. I like the interior design and atmosphere there. We had a table in the dining area - very atmospheric there. The pub area has its advantages too. Very nice place to dining and probably enjoying evening cocktails - that I need to try, though. Would recommend this restaurant. 👌

I expected more here to be honest. Despite lovely decor, the food just wasn't that great for the price we payed. Not much different from what you could rustle up at home. The person we got serving our table didn't like it when a few of us changed our initial orders. Made us feel like we were a real inconvenience.

Service was very rushed. Felt like we were putting them out. Order the chicken with peppercorn sauce. Sauce look like gravy ended up with an upset tummy. Very disappointed.

Food was okay, although don't order the seafood spaghetti cartuccio as it comes in tinfoil with 2 prawns, 1 mussel and a rubbery piece of squid. One waitress was particularly pushy demanding to take our drink order as we were just sitting down then when we were mid way through making the drinks order, walked away. Clearly we were taking too long. Kids portions were a decent size, chips were really good. Service was particularly slow on additional requests such as water for the table and condiments. Restaurant layout feels particularly cramped.

Always a nice meal, never fails. Different sort of vibe in here especially at the weekend. They usually provide live music and the seating areas are very nice and comfy.

Food was ok, my seafood spaghetti was served in tinfoil, which I thought was a bit unprofessional and my wifes burger was not hot enough when served.

Me and Lauren went on a Sunday evening, Lauren had a margarita pizza 🍕 and I had the siciian chicken and garlic bread, it was without doubt the best dish I have ever had in any Italian restaurant I've ever been in, Lauren loved her pizza as well, the service was good and the food was very reasonably priced, I will definitely be going back despite it being on the other side of the city from me , I would highly recommend a visit here 👍🇮🇹

Very much a chance find while at Glasgow Airport overnight and the Premier Inn we were staying at was booked out for meals. Decided to venture into nearby Paisley where we came across Zambretto Italian restaurant. It looked nice externally and we were not disappointed...

We've been here a couple of times and on each visit what we got was nice food, pleasant surroundings, decent service and good value. I will be back.

Whilst the cocktails and service was great the food was awful...im not a fussy eater atall but edible food is preferred! 🍔 burger was burnt and black and bun rubbery ...looked like reheat, coselaw looked old and inedible. Very disappointed! Won't be returning.
