Not a bad pub clean and warm real ale choice could be better.

Owner is so lovely! Was welcomed with our dog even though he gave the odd bark😂 She was friendly, talked to us and clearly cared about what we thought about food ect. 100% recommend😊⭐️ x

3 'short' pints today, which was a first for me after several visits over the years. Barman refused to fill the pints and called me a cheeky git for asking. Doesn't detract from being a good place to drink and will return.

Christmas day dinner a complete microwave disaster, 6 sat at the table with 6 plates picked at. No payment from me but a consolation for 2 meals from another member of our party...That really means we made £120 over payment for no Xmas dinner and going home hungry. The question is...who went home hungry...and who is greedy ?

Perfect Christmas Day lunch! Everything was hot and in a timely manner. Plenty of everything and really well cooked. Nikki and her team worked really hard to make sure everything was spot on, as always.

The mount is a pub on the main wombourne road. When you arrive there is plenty of parking available. There is a wheelchair entrance on the side of the pub. Inside there is an island bar one side is for casual drinkers and the other for food. On big occasions they will screen big football matches on the big screen located at the end near the fire grate. There is a good choice of craft beers at a reasonable price. They also have a reasonable wine selection plus the normal cider and lager picks. The food is really good with plenty of choice for everyone's taste. On selected days they have special deals like a steak night fish Friday or 2 for one. Overall it is a good pub in the heart of wombourne.

What a fantastic pub and staff. Made to feel very welcome when us scooter clubs arrived one Thursday. Can be a bit off putting I guess seeing 40+ vespa's and lemabrettas turn up. But was pre arranged and we all had a cracking evening. We will certainly be going again weather we go in the car or on the scooter. Definite big shout out to the bar staff though. Made sure our glasses were always full. 👍

Booked for a table of 11 and were given two separate tables so we rearranged to all be sat at one. Food was beautiful and came out quickly. Started clearing mains away before everyone had finished though. Great kept ales and reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

Decent pub. Mainly a drinking pub from my own experience but they do server food at certain times. Decent drink selection and lovely staff who gave us spare chips they had going!

Worst Sunday dinner I've ever had. First and last visit to this pub. Felt robbed after paying best part of a tenner for the worst Sunday dinner I've ever been served. A microwave one would have been better! Frozen mashed potato, frozen roast potatoes and frozen diced vegetables, accompanied by 2 slices of fatty over done beef and 1 poxy Yorkshire pud all served in a bowl swimming in runny gravy! For ten pounds! Never again

The manager and staff at this pub must qualify as among the most ignorant in Staffordshire. They hold events with the music so loud that you can hear it a mile away. Their response to being asked to turn it down a bit is tough, come and join us. I would not under any circumstances if this is how they treat their neighbours. RUDE, IGNORANT MORONS is about the best to describe them.

Easter Friday my husband and I visited as a friend of mine was entertaining for the 1st time there so we went to support. It was busy,entertaining and welcoming. I have eaten there and is of excellent value and is overall well worth a visit. On the website I would like to see what days, who and times of entertainment you have so that we can visit not too far into the distant future.

Good atmosphere and great staff... very helpful. The venue is in desperate need of a refurb tho... Or at least some intensive maintenance. Food was pretty good. Not 'ping' but not great. Steak wa exactly as ordered. Kids play area is relatively new but need maintenance. Hope to go back to add more stars...
