Un super restaurant avec beaucoup de bonne humeur ! De la comfort food british typique faite maison et je recommande le crumble aux pommes On reviendra !

This place came recommended to us and after lots of walking around we decided to give it a go. We were waiting a long time, but it was very busy and we sat outside which we were grateful for as inside was boiling! The food was really good and compared to what is around the area I don’t think badly priced. We tried sausages and mash and pie and mash, the pie was the standout for us! The staff were really lovely too, you could tell they were run off their feet but they were apologetic about the wait, although generally I don’t mind waiting if the food is good, and it was!

Stumbled across Mother Mash at the end of a family day out in London. Must have passed it 100s of times before, but the rain was coming down, the kids fancied something warming, and we just wanted to get inside. The staff were lovely and welcoming, the mash was silky, pies and sausages flavoursome and the gravy was beautifully flavoured. The price was a big surprise for Central London, £70 for four meals and drinks. Definitely recommend this place, and we'll be back for more!

Tale of two branches, arrived at 17:00, one person dining alone and rapidly. The manager/ receptionist told me unless I had booked there was no tables. Around me there were at least 6 empty places. I asked him why I couldn't sit and eat in these vacant spaces and was told they were reserved for 18:00 .... 1 hour from when I was there?!! It's pie and mash not a 16 course meal!! I left extre disappointed with the customer experience. Despite it raining heavily, and the very poor treatment, I see decided to see if this was the usual customer service of Mother Mash. I walked 10 mins to the Canarby St branch. Despite it being equally busy if not more so, the manager/ receptionist Ewan found me a single table and continued to offer me an exceptional, non rushed service. The food was exceptional!! But the service and capability of Ewan was more so. In the time I was there he had managed to accommodate 2 large groups and several walk in customers without reservations. Clearly there is a disparity in the quality and capabilities of the personal in this operation. I would not recommend going to the Covent Garden branch as long as this idiot is still working there. However fully recommend going to the Carnaby St branch managed by Ewan. Mother Mash look at your staff!!

Superb! Lived up to my expectations. Delicious pie and mash, excellent service. especially considering it was a busy Saturday afternoon! Highly recommended!

Great veggie mushroom pie with bubble and squeak, well worth £14, lovely side dishes of mushy peas and buttered savoy cabbage too. The ginger cake and ice cream dessert was big enough to share and well worth £5.95. The portions are more than fair, nice ambiance and friendly staff. We had a very enjoyable lunch at Mother Mash and will come back next time we are in London.

We booked a table of 4 but one of my friends had organised two surprise guests for me which must have been so annoying for the staff but they accommodated us so well. The wait staff were literally perfect and the food was amazing. Wanted to tip more but only had a tenner in cash. Next time ....

Really great meal. Fast and very friendly service, the simple approach to choosing your mash, pie and gravy was great, and the food was brilliant. Will definitely go again!

Valutazione super positiva. Staff gentile, piatto buonissimo e super gustoso. Prezzo onesto! Vi consiglio sia la soluzione con la salsiccia che quello con il tortino. Anche le proposte del giorno sono ottime. Da migliorare i dolci, unica nota stonata

Per provare una vera esperienza culinaria British, questo è il locale adatto!!! I pies hanno un' ottima sfoglia friabile con ripieni di vario tipo, compreso quello vegetariano. Anche il purè e la salsa che completa il piatto possono essere scelti tra vari tipi , da quelli normali ai più elaborati. Per finire, i dolci sono tutti da provare ,sia quelli con crema ai frutti di bosco, che quelli al cioccolato con gelato alla crema.

This is a great place for British comfort food. I had sausage and mash and a beer, both good. I shall return to try some more items from the menu soon.

Sì può comporre il proprio pranzo: prima si sceglie il tipo di purè, poi la pie da adagiare sopra, poi il liquido. Io ho scelto l'opzione vegetariana, seguita da un pudding al caramello. Tutto ottimo e tradizionale!
