Fish was chunky and tasty. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Great service. Plenty of space in their carp park. My new go to place for fish and chips.

Absolutely appalling customer service and food! Order ramadhan iftar box, waited over an hour as they lost my order and kept telling me they working on it. Everyone was fuming as most people were waiting over 45 minutes. Refused to tell me how long it'll be. I had my 2 year who was really hunger, kicking and screaming and the staff didn't even empathise. Worst part was we were fasting. The staff serving were young girls who were very disorganised. The chefs in the back were you lads laughing and taunting at those people who kept querying their order. Absolute shambles! I came all the way from Leeds thinking flagship store will be better than the one in harehills in Leeds, no! Indeed they are all the same, completely waste of time and money. Won't be going back here again. Don't bother replying to my message tell me you'll compensate me, you cannot compensate a person who was fasting only to find my iftar was spoiled too.

Order 6 iftars boxes. Girls over the phone was very polite It’s was 559 when I placed my order was asked by her any pacific time yull like your order or wud u like it staight away. I clearly said staight away so I don’t get stuck in the iftar rush. She said that’s fine come it will be ready in 20 to 25 mins guess whatttt it’s 7.32. And we still NOT got our FOOD. Sorry to say there wudnt even pick up the phone. To tell us. Sorry it’s Gona be late. It’s really spoilt the whole experience. Ok. Now the add on. Got my order. At. 740. Was excited. To my luck All order was wrong. Ask for Four spicy chicken sandwiches and two firey fish sandwiches. Guess watttt got. 4. Fish sandwich and TWO. Chicken. Asked for NO. Gravy. Guess whattttttt. Got Two tubs of gravy All food was dry. And LUKE warm the chips were like Rubber. Really sorry guys. NOT HAPPY. 2NITE. Kids were fasting. Sorry normally ya foods bang one. But today it wasn’t.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Fish & Chips with Amazing Service! We recently visited Mother Hubbard’s on Lagram Lane, Bradford, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The service was exceptional—the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. They were attentive without being intrusive and made us feel truly welcomed. The food was incredible! The fish was cooked to perfection—crispy, golden batter with tender, flaky fish inside. The chips were fresh, perfectly seasoned, and piping hot. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was just as great—clean, cozy, and welcoming. It had a relaxed vibe, perfect for enjoying a great meal with family or friends. The restaurant was spotless, and even during busy times, everything was well-organized. Overall, I can’t recommend Mother Hubbard’s on Lagram Lane enough! If you're in Bradford and craving proper fish and chips with top-notch service, this is the place to go. Will definitely be returning soon!

Vile. Absolutely vile. Went in Friday and ordered a cake butty, drink and some ketchup. £6.85. Wtf first of all. Secondly waited 20 minutes to get a little cake with hard bits all over. Spat most of it out and had runs for two days since. Absolutely appalling considering I went to Fish Dish in town last week and got a massive cake butty for £2.50. I always have issues with this MH. Leeds Road one is bang on.

Visit 01/03/2025 for a portion of chips. Speedy/friendly service received and piping hot chips. Love the iftar boxes - will be trying one soon.

Absolutely horrible food. Ordered fish and chips with salt and vinegar on Uber eats and they didn't put on any salt and vinegar and the fold was cold. Disgusting You want good food? You ain't gon find it here! I promise you that.

I ordered an apple crumble and jam coconut sponge - when I got home it was the pictures attached, broken apple crumble, hardly any custard and definitely not a jam coconut sponge ! I called and was told to send an email with pictures to verify what I was saying, or I could bring them back and have them swapped - they would not bring replacements !! I spoke to the manager a "MUSTAFA" who told me that was the best he could do, we were left with no desserts and a resolution unheard of in business by a so called professional company. NEVER AGAIN ! KEEP WELL AWAY ! Poor service, poor quality food and run by amatures ! Apparently the jam coconut sponge has changed shape colour and taste from what is being advertised on their website but it's still the same thing, (see picture as advertised) I'm lost for words !

Fish and chips is tasteless.Not much difference between supreme fish and normal fish and chips portions. Better off buying kids fish bites and chips . Vinegar doesn't taste like vinegar ,it's definitely diluted in the water . Gordon Ramsay might have killed himself if he ever tasted this Fish and chips .Toilet looks like a dungeon and dirty .Won't return to this shop again !

Great fish and chips. My go to for fish and chips 👍🏼 Had a bit of an issue with an order so was compensated very well by getting a free box of fish and chips , with all sauces and a extra box of fish. Got it delivered directly to my door. Really happy with the customer service and how well they deal with problems.

Me & my husband went to get Fish & chips. Excellent atmosphere & service from the team, especially Mariya. One of the management team were in who also attended to our needs. We ended up getting 6 takeouts for the family too, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you & keep up the excellent work 🙂

Randomly popped in, not my usual fish and chips shop but great service, friendly and efficient even though it was busy. I was served by Taylor who had it all under control. Delicious fresh fish and chips and a good size portion. Definitely go back.

Went with my little family yesterday. Super clean upstairs and plenty of seating. Toddler friendly. Lots of parking space but the highlight for me was someone named Anah serving us. She was so friendly and bubbly. Give her a pay rise looool! BEST MOTHER HUBBARDS IN BRADFORD!

You spend money so you expect great fish and chips but the fish was fishless and the chips aren't even potato most of the time. The girls at tills are rude and lack basic customer service skills.

I visited and purchased jumbo fish and chips. I must say paying £17.95 was right rip off. The portions are small and the chips was rock hard.. I will not be visiting and definitely not recommending to anyone..

Went in for a Special with some chips. Is it only me or does this happen to everyone? Half the chips were like card board. There was no potato inside. Totally useless and ended up putting them in the bin. Fish was nice. But please MH sort out your chips.

Asked the staff if I could sit upstairs with family (2). was told group needs to be greater than 5. Advised to sit downstairs. I explained downstairs is open & indirectly explained I wish for privacy.requests were ignored twice, & no eye contact made by staff! In the end I explained it’s fine to say No but due to my reasons they should take into consideration. This branch needs to be more flexible to accommodate the community in situ!

We tried the spicy fish and chips. Was a little dry but ok. I will stick to the regular fish and chips next time. I have had better masala fish. The Curry sauce was very watery thus not as flavoursome as it should be. Service was ok..

KD greeted us with the most beautiful smile, recommended alternatives to cater for needs, exceptional, friendly and welcoming customer service and we will definitely be visiting again. Ordered on Uber who ruined delivery last time in march. This time ordered and phoned the branch to ask can you please make sure order is taken care of. Spoke to Saamiya, who was an angel, she assured me instructions will be taken care of and food, and the will personally check the food for me before sending and will be sent with uber with instruction to take care of the food. The food arrived in excellent condition and piping hot. Massive shout out to Saamiya, thank you so much.
