i had a 10% off coupon and was rudely denied use because its "only for food". ive attached a photo of said coupon. no where does it say food only, in fact it even includes "tea" and "coffee". if i knew my 10% off coffee coupon couldnt be used on coffee, i wouldnt have even got anything in the first place. if you also have a coupon, dont even bother. id recommend visiting somewhere pleasant.

Really friendly staff, lovely fresh food and reasonably priced. Eat in or take away, same great quality and service. Proper breakfast menu and lots of other things to get you through the day. Started with popping in for coffee and hot chocolate on the way past, now would have to get one every time we pass.

We went to Mortimers as a group of eight for a Friday Dinner. Although we had booked they did have some spare tables. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the staff were very friendly and efficient. We couldn't really understand our waitress as she was foreign and was wearing a face mask (not much she could do but staff do need to be taught to speak up and speak clearly). The menu was really confusing. Dishes were in three sections but it wasn't for any recognisable reason... you have to figure out the size of the dish based on its price and then order depending on how many you think it will feed. It's a bit like complicated tapas. With the above in mind, as there were 8 of us, we ordered one of most dishes, which seemed wise. We were not disappointed. The food started arriving quickly and was superb. A particular favorite was the Octopus which was beautifully cooked and very spicy. Overall, we ate and drank plentifully and had a great evening. Highly recommended.

Exemplary customer service, good product range and top notch grub at fair prices. Max behind the tills is very accommodating. Another positive is that they don't charge extra for big ticket items like jalapeños.

I work in the area, so to find a local cafe which provide good quality food was a welcome sight. The fact that the portions are huge, the prices cheap, and the staff are friendly is amazing. Max and the team make salads, sandwiches, and wraps freshly in front of you. Also on offer are two pasta dishes each day, soup, cooked breakfast, omelettes, and more than I can remember. To have this wonderful cafe so close to the craziness of Oxford Street and chain sandwich shop is a delight.

One of the best value and best quality cafe's in the West End. Always greeted with a cheery smile and consistently tasty wares on offer. Highly recommended.

Visited after hearing about the steak, weren't disappointed, lovely steak, very tasty. Restaurant was very quiet but it was a Monday. Good deal on two courses.

Even if I pop in for just a cappuccino, the staff never fail to make me feel welcome! Lemon cake is also the best.

Called the Black And Blue located just off Oxford St and plenty seating. Great steak menu but go for the fixed price 2 or 4 course meal from £14 as you get the same sirloin steak as you do if you pay £26 for the alacarte!! They seem to have got that wrong!!! Wine by half carafe expensive no bottles on wine list. Compulsory tipping at 12.5% is not acceptable and for this reason will not return!

....if there weren't queues each lunchtime. It's one of the many Italian-run coffee and sandwich shops in the area, but after extensive testing, I crown this one the best of the lot. There's nothing fancy here, just a really friendly service, fresh food, generous portions and very reasonable prices. Salads are definitely worthwhile, especially the tuna nicoise. There's also good paninis and a variety of breakfasts.

Orders for us and other customers were not delivered and forgotten. Reminded the guy behind the counter of some missing items and he just laughed. Avoid.
