The quality of the cooking and service is quite exceptional and consistent over the many years we have been dining here. I have posted pictures of the Sunday Lunch courses and a menu so one can see the wonderful presentation and well balanced menu and take my word for it how well it was cooked. Well worth a visit but remember there is no weekday lunch.

To start our long weekend in Norfolk we Sunday lunch at Morston a venu we have being coming to when we are in Norfolk North Coast area over many years. This is a charming venu and the food is always well balanced, beautifully cooked and presented. Waiting and reception staff are always first class with friendly greeting and knowlable waiting staff.

Wells Crab House Cafe

02/11/2018: Being Restaurant Week, four of us had booked for Wells Crab House.
04/04/2019: We visited here on a Wednesday night. Best to book as it was busy. We had a warm, friendly welcome and the staff are very knowledgeable about their food. The whole sole and the whole bream were fantastic. Thank you.

Whelk Coppers

10/11/2018: What an amazing little cafe/restaurant just off the beaten track!!
05/02/2019: We found this wonderful place last January but could only stay for a short time as this café closes at 4.00 pm in the winter. This January we visited twice: once for a coffee in the morning in front of the roaring fire and then for tea before we set off for our return to Kent. Once again we could enjoy the warmth of the fire and my husband's slice of cake was delicious (I enjoyed a slither!) and my fruit scone was equally delicious. And the tea remained hot in its pot which is not always the case elsewhere. So thank you to all the lovely ladies for giving us a good send off from Norfolk to our home.
