Gammon steak looked like it done ten rounds with tyson Richmond sausages with mash not too bad gravy like coloured water waterless who's fingers kept touching the food she carried round don't bother go elsewhere plenty more food shops to go to

Great supermarket cafe. Prices reasonable, staff friendly and hot food delivered to your table. Highly recommend for any time of day plus you get free hot drink refills.

Friendly staff and great value food. But, I don't think they've ever got any of my orders right.

On a trip to Wetherby we popped into the cafe for a spot of lunch. My partner ordered the standard breakfast and I the cottage pie. My partner’s breakfast was perfectly acceptable and good value for money whereas my cottage pie looked decidedly unappetising accompanied by a small dish of putrid looking tinned peas. It was pretty disappointing for such a simple dish. Coffee and tea were fine. I didn’t complain as my partners meal was fine however on reflection I wish I’d said something. There is no excuse for poorly presented food even at the budget end of the scale. I’m sure I’ve had better street food abroad which was fresher and tastier than what we had today and at a cheaper price. I would add the service also left a lot to be desired. A surly looking waitress just plonked the tray down and waited for us to take the food from her without saying a word !! What is wrong with a little bit of civility. Needless to say I will never eat there again.

First visit since alterations very impressed seems more organised

Visited Mon.25th March. Ordered 2 sausage sandwiches +2 coffee's. Cafe was very busy and expected to wait a little, but we returned to our table having got our coffee's and was amazed to see our sandwiches waiting. Now that's good service!

After been closed for a few weeks visited cafe which has had a face-lift. Very disappointed to find that at least 80% of tables needed clearing! dirty used pots etc the place looked very un attractive. There seemed to be plenty of staff around but no one obviously clearing tables. First impressions mean a lot & it would appear Morrisons Wetherby need to get their act together!

Vile, dirty cafe. Mucky tables, sticky grim floor. Coffee that was undrinkable and the cup had lipstick on it. Had chips- they were cold, no salt sachets. The cafe also had a repugnant smell. Needs closing down, truly grim!

Went to the refurbished cafe at Wetherby...waited for over half hour ..had to ask where our food was ..it was flat cold when brought to us..do you still want it.. ERM no thanks money back please ..can't give it a food rating because we didn't get any..tbh it looked awful so glad we received our money back ..

An absolute dump, the floors are filthy, the seats are filthy, the staff are lazy except the cooks and the food is over priced and tasteless. I've never been in a cafe that is so filthy not to mention its not cleaned properly the floor hasn't been cleaned in over a month the dirt is visible everywhere it's disgusting. 😕 👎

I went with my granddaughter and wanted a meal we got 2 meals for £10 including a drink each,I wanted chicken but they had none the assistant asked if I wd like cheese slice on my chicken burger then asked my granddaughter had bacon on hers.my granddaughter wanted a coke but the machine was broken so the assistant said she cd have a coke from fridge then charged her separately and not included with the meal I had a cappuccino which were just warm a meal that should of cost £10 cost £16.75 so as you can imagine I m not happy

Such a disappointment…having not visited Wetherby for a while, thought a visit to have breakfast in the cafe would be nice, how wrong I was. Ordered a large breakfast and asked to exchange the fried bread for regular toast, was informed by the harassed and confused looking girl on the till that it’s not possible for her to do that, she could only cancel the fried bread that came included in the price and then I can pay extra to add the toast to my order. I was surprised to say the least, Morrison’s used to always be very accommodating of such requests and I would have thought something as simple as this would be acceptable but apparently not. I dread to think what people with allergies etc have to go through when trying to order. I also ordered a tea, I took the pot but you now have to ask for a teabag, this was handed to me from an open tub beside the till, I’m not overly fussy but in the age of covid and other germs, the girl used her bare hands to do this and this does bother me. When I tried to get milk there was none. Another lady and I then tried to find milk, we found a new box sat nearby and after taking ours, the other lady refilled the containers - not the job of your customers to do this Morrisons!! When it came to finding a table, it was a joke. The majority were piled dangerously high, with used crockery and trays. I reluctantly had to sit at a table meant for four, as did the single man behind me due to the lack of any other available seating. My food arrived and although luke-warm, it was tasty and a decent sized portion. However, in the hour or so that I was there, nobody cleared anything, not one table. This is despite the surly, rude manager coming round several times. Surely it would not be too much of an effort when handing out food, to take some of the empty plates back into the kitchen rather than leaving empty-handed. I witnessed several families come in and leave due to lack of clean tables. So, if your profits are important to you Morrison’s, I would certainly look to take the cafe into hand. Sort out the staffing, especially the Manager with her appalling attitude to both her staff and the customers, and get it back to the standard it used to be; before you lose all your trade to the many other coffee shops that have sprung up all around you! Myself and my family won’t be returning any time soon.

Stopped serving hot food and it wasn't even 5pm didn't fancy fast food after a long journey at wetherbt services so drove to Morrisons to get a nice meal to be told that they have stopped serving hot food.

It seems odd to promote all the deals available after 3pm only to have it snapped at you that the kitchen closes at 5 and you can't order certain foods if it's close to 5. So it gives customers A1 1/2 hour window at least to order. Just seems a bit daft.

Really disappointed with this place. Its very hit and miss with the food. The service is pretty bad and it's grubby and dirty. There always seem to be problems with getting the hot drinks machine to work when you order hot chocolate. I've been to a few morrisons cafe's but I think this maybe the worst.

Visited (25th Oct) for quick coffee and cake. Tables all piled high/ both drinks machines empty/ no sachets of milk so couldnt even have tea. One poor exploited young woman was left to run the place single handed. She was on the till, delivering hot meals, trying to fill machines and taking flak from disgrunted customers. The management there should be ashamed of themselves for leaving this poor girl in this position. Won't be revisiting.

Truly awful - it may not be a 5-star establishment but the dirty tables and sticky floor are inexcusable… Coffee machine not working (after they’ve sold you the mug), they “prefer” you to sit at table and order via a QR code but no phone signal and customer WiFi is (at best) patchy, surly staff… actually downright rude. Don’t even consider it.

Would give it 0 if i could, everything was disgusting and very overpriced for the horrendous quality

We ordered via the order kiosk which was straight forward but there is no explanation that you get your own cutlery or your own pot of tea. We didn't bother with the 2 pots of tea and it's not because we are lazy. In fact if we knew we supposed to get our own teas we could have done so whilst waiting the 15 minutes for our soup. I would have to give a mixed review as the tomato and basil soup was delicious.

Ordered breakfast but half of it was cold. Sent it back and got a hot replacement. Well done. But how's about checking temperatures of food before despatch?

Staff were so unpleasant and rude that I was reduced to tears. Horrible customer service. Sorry, but it just wasn’t acceptable.

Appalling service not enough staff and waiting to long for food should of know from last time came here.not clean cups staff don’t know how long food is going to be 1 star is to good

Really disappointing visit. The cafe wasn't very full, but we still waited over an hour for food with our very hungry children. When we politely asked whether they could give us an estimate of the remaining time we would have to wait, the initial response was, 'well I'm not the one cooking the food'. Others also complained and asked for a manager but were told they had to go to customer services. The food was definitely not worth the wait!

So I ordered breakfast and the egg looked rubbish so I asked the server to take it back and get me a proper one. The same egg came back. Her attitude was rubbish as she slammed the plate down. Even though it was just after 8 the food was cold. They Don have a clue how to cook breakfast. Today is September 18th. There was no respect for me as a customer. Other times the breakfast has been good but this crew today need a good talking to from management. This of course will not happen. So dissapointing

Waited 50 minutes for breakfast, 1 coffee machine was broke and the other machine was only offering black coffee at one point, both my partner and i had an egg, mushroom and black pudding missing but after waiting 50 minutes for it and seeing the only 3 staff running around with no support i didnt fancy complaining we just wanted to eat and go. With a few more staff for support the experience could of been alot better!!

The food is average but you do get what you pay for and it is quite cheap. Would probably be nicer if the staff members serving food could find the correct table. A lot of the time you see them wondering around looking gormless as to where the table is. Polite and friendly however.

The manager in the cafe is rude and obnoxious. On numerous times I have observed her shouting things across the cafe to other staff members and to customers and on my last visit to me. From one end of the cafe to another she was shouting that we had to buy something before using the toilets despite explaining my 3 year old son was desperate and we were staying for food after. She shouted and with such an aggressive tone my son started crying and She actually made me queue to buy something before using the toilets despite the fact my child was now crying and I had explained we were staying for a meal afterwards. I don’t think there has been one occasion we have been in there that she has been working that we haven’t seen her being rude although usually it is to other staff. It’s a shame because the cafe is a good place for us Mums to meet up. Its shocking that they have a manager who thinks it’s acceptable to make young children cry and shout at customers from the other end of the store to which I told her when I approached her was embarrassing and if she wanted to speak to me about something she had an issue with she should’ve approached me and spoke to me and not shouted at the top of her voice. She didn’t say one word as in all honesty I expected an apology. The customers sat at the very other side of the store next to the toilets even asked me if I was ok when we eventually made it to the toilets which shows not only how loud she was shouting but how clearly she was out of order. If you want a peaceful meal where your kids aren’t shouted at for needing a wee I wouldn’t recommend Morrison’s cafe

It was open for takeaway food and drink early, so empty. Some knock down goods displayed for purchase while you wait for the food!

Staff are just straight up rude and arrogant

Awful visit, service was slow but when the order first arrived it was not for our table. Then at last the meal arrive ( after 20 minutes it was after 3pm when we arrived ) fish and chips and burger and chips, to my amazement the fish had arrived with mash potatoes I know chips are potatoes but there is a big difference. The mash was changed and the chips were cold when it arrived and by the the time to complain had been knocked out of us by then. Usally the food in there is OK but this was poor and the service was unacceptable even in these troublesome times and nightmares of mash and fish will trouble me for quite a while

Always stop here when passing on A1. Good selection of food and drink, plenty of parking plus a huge supermarket to stock up with anything you had forgotten. All this and at a third of the price of motorway services. Oh and a fuel station down the road with exceptionally cheaper prices than the services can offer. No brainer when only 5 mins from A1.

The chicken smis just black bones

Dirtiest place i’ve eaten in a while, both times I’ve been here the women and the counter called marie has been rude and un helpful. I tried ordering from the selfie serve screen, I asked her for help and she said it wasn’t here problem, i use to like it here before she started working.

Took forever.. needs another till at least. Ordering hot food system does not work just means you queue twice. Only in England.. needs more staff!!! Morrisons management take note .

Nice place since the renovation - light and airy. Food is cheap and well prepared (better than expected in a supermarket café). Staff friendly and helpful. Downside - often long queues, although the equipment is there for separate food ordering it's not often used - probably due to insufficient staff - the staff do their best but there never seem to be enough (Morrisons saving money).

Provides a great social service. Decent food at a decent price and excellent friendly committed staff

Good wholesome food at a good price. Good value!
