Morrisons Sheldon Cafe in Birmingham

Tried the festive toastie for £4. Turkey cranberry surfing and cheese. I could not eat it !! The margarine used was awful. The turkey was processed. Very cheap and greasey tasting. I do not usually leave food or make a complaint. But due to this experience I felt I need to put pen to paper so to speak. Maybe in in the future just sell a festive sandwich with proper turkey and good quality butter or margarine.

Popped in to do a bit of shopping .Decided to have lunch as my daughter said the breakfasts were always good there so we should try lunch.Wish i had not bothered.Cup were dirty not one clean table They were not busy at all it was 2 o clock.They had cleared the tables but not cleaned them honestly we walked round could not find a clean one.I actually got some napkins and a cup of hot water out the machine and did it myself.The food arrived 2x yorkshire pudding wrap chips.Oh i have mo words to explain the food.Just want to say we didn't eat it we didn't drink our tea because of the dirty cups .We walked out.We will not be returning.Their hygiene is disgusting there is no excuse at all for that.

Terrible service, waited for about 15 mins just to be served. The tables are downright disgusting and there is only one or two staff around. The place stinks and everything is sticky. The food isn't bad but was not worth the wait. Morrisons needs to buckle up their ideas because soon nobody will want to visit the cafe. Not much choicd for food and will not be visiting again till I know the cafe gets better. Do not recommend the cafe. Used to love love but now id rather starve than goto morrisons. FIX YOUR SHOP MORRISONS

I am sorry to say that the cafe has really gone downhill over the last couple of months. Shorter opening times are not what I was expecting but it’s happening. Staff numbers are very low and morale seems to be on the floor, tables are dirty and stay that way for a considerable time. Cups and cutlery are a mix of porcelain and disposal, there are usually only two staff when I would expect to see 4 or 5, this needs to change before it’s too late. It’s sad, please do something about it before your customers vote with their feet, and the fantastic staff that you have end up doing the same.

I used to use this cafe a lot. OK prices have gone up everywhere now, but I object to paying more for cold food and toast that tasted like it had been dropped in a bowl of oil! I recently had 2 bad experiences at Morrisons in Solihull (2 in case first was a one off) and tried Sheldon instead. Won't be visiting either again!
