Very seldom go to supermarket cafes. Was staying nearby and accommodation didn’t provide breakfast and as Morrisons was nearby, I thought I’d have a look. Great value ultimate breakfast. A good choice if only wanting a breakfast roll or just tea & coffee. Somewhere I’d look out for again if needing a cooked breakfast.

Last Saturday my husband and I went to the cafe in Morrisons Morpeth for a cup of tea and a snack. It was 2.30 pm.Half of the seating area was cordoned off and in the remaining half the tables were cluttered with dishes. It was very messy!. On the way out of the store I spoke to a customer service representative. I told her about the problem and she informed me that she would investigate why half the area was unavailable. I left my telephone number and she promised to contact me. Has she heck.Very poor customer service and I'm very disappointed with their attitude.

I visited to pick up a few bits and pieces, went to the gents to be met with a horrendous smell of poo and leaking urinals all over the floor. Next a visit to the cafe , tables are filthy and it's not the staff , it all needs a deep clean or refurbishing, the tables have lost their surface and are now stained, and please if you visit or are a member of the management team, just lift up the edge of one of the stickers on the table and you will see a minefield of germs, possibly e- coli and probably worse. Morrisons, you should be ashamed and take immediate action. Get ready for a visit from the council as I will be reporting this, it should have a zero health and hygiene certificate.

Abrupt staff on the tills . Needs some customer service training . Either that or they are just too old for the job especially the one who served me , what an absolute old “B” ! Will never return to this store in Morpeth .

My trip to your establishment was a disaster. Firstly, I never got to meet Morris and his son and when I asked the lady selling fish at the front who they were, she called me a swine. Secondly, a rather large gentleman with glasses stocking the shelves threw eggs at me and kicked me to the ground, as he giggled to himself. I think his name is Elliot, and your organisation should have him exiled to the Gaza Strip as suitable punishment. Fourthly, your prices are ridiculous. 5 smackeroos for a chocolate egg, typical thatchers Britain. And to make things worse, that Elliot employee covered my egg in sarsons vinegar, and now I’ve got the runs. Secondly, some Neanderthals were dealing CDs outside of your shop, and scammed me out of 27 pound for a fake Dizzee Rascal Disc, and when I put it into my CD Player, it blew up my bedroom. Overall, I hope Morris and his children have an awful night, and that Elliot is removed from this planet immediately. Thank you for your time, Reggie.

Shelves always half empty, in the shop Cafe food is good but the service is poor Tables had number cards left on them from previous customers so didn’t know which tables were not being used. Slow service and abrupt lady when informed her the coffee machine was empty. Never any napkins, always have to ask for cutlery and condiments as there always empty.

Once again, fans blowing cold air onto the seating area in the cafe...eat quickly before your food gets cold. When asked told curtly by a member of staff that there were no napkins but there might kitchen roll but then did not look for any or provide any. A much more helpful lad got a roll for us immediately when we asked later. Some of the tables and floor area had food scattered around, no one going around cleaning or clearing tables. Never seem to have the same issues at Blyth or Killingworth.

What an untidy store. Disabled and vision impaired. Boxes everywhere. Just empty them fold them and put them in a cage. Not- empty them and throw them anywhere. Has the opportunity to be a great store but they don't do the simple things well.

Food as awful, nasty cheap junk, salad is unedible and soaked in the strongest vinegar ever, kebab was bland as hell and portion sizes were small, waste of money!

The blandest, driest pizza I think I've ever had. Barely any topping or pizza sauce. Actually surprising how bad it is, given the price. The fact this is supposed to be a premium takeaway place makes it worse. Would not return

Stayed here as there was no other option for the date we needed and party size. Unfortunately the two rooms we were allocated were not in the best of condition. The better room had plug sockets that could not fit a plug in due to the placement of socket and skirting board. Initially thought the shower wasn't working at, silly me, I turned the on/off dial when apparently I should've been turning the temperature dial to turn the shower on. The blind had no pull cord on it, so it was a slide with the hand situation. Good job the top of the window was at about 6ft height. The second room in our party... Well... The carpet had a great big patch under one of the beds. Not only did it look rubbish but was also a trip hazard. Then at 2230 the occupants of the room noticed a sound and went into the bathroom to find a waterfall coming through from the room above, when that occupant was having a shower. Our party was moved to a new room with damp carpets and oddly (badly) smelling linen. Hat trick of rooms with issues. In the morning the owner seemed genuinely unsurprised about the plumbing issue and seemed to have no real concern for the structural integrity of joists and flooring. And more worryingly didn't seem to be aware of the dangers of and water mixing. I do not know if the upstairs occupants were moved room or even made aware of the issue of water. I would not recommend staying at this establishment.

Sausage, eggs & bacon overcooked, piled into small box. Ordered before so I know Asda can do better.
