Morrisons Glasgow - Partick Cafe in Glasgow City

Wonderful cafe. Service is friendly you are treated like a friend who has visited their cafe. The food is beautiful and made fresh. The caprese cake is to die for and is home made. The owner is genuinely interested in making every customer welcome and in helping you decide what you would like to eat. Like being in Italy but you are in partick. The only annoying thing is not unique to them but happens everywhere is there was one guy sitting on a laptop for a few hours taking up the best table at the window which was for 4 people. Quite clearly working, its a shame that people are allowed to do that its a lovely table and would have been lovely to sit at for lunch. I think people who do that are very selfish. It's not a workspace. Think of others please. Anyway rant over its a wonderful cafe and I hope it does well. Staff and food wonderful

My review is regarding the behaviour of the staff in the store. I was waiting in the queue at self service to pay for my goods. The security guard was stood behind me with his back to me and arms crossed, so close to me he was literally almost touching me. I took a step away and politely asked him to keep a short distance from me. His response was to say 'what ?!' indignantly. I then tried to explain that he was standing too close and that it was causing me distress, he started to talk over me and raise his voice at me. I raised my voice in return and told him not to speak to me like that. He walked away and mumbled that I was probably drunk. I was stone cold sober and this experience left me visibly shaken. It cause me alarm and distress and I could barely pay for my goods after this I was so upset. I wouldn't reccomend this store to anyone. What that security did was assault and it signifies at best a severe lack of training and common decency.

I was a regular at the Morrison Cafe in Gosport & could not fault the food & service, but on this occasion at the Morrison Cafe in PartickI was appalled at the service, facilities & food. I had arranged to meet my friend for lunch on a Sunday afternoon & we both ordered the fish tea for lunch, but while waiting for the food I noticed that there were strips of black tape holding down the floor of which many strips had been uplifted thus creating dips in the flooring of which any individual could have easily tripped & fallen., thus creating a health & safety issue. When our food arrived we were not provided with any cutlery & had to wait over 5 minutes for cutlery to be provided as the cutlery containers were empty. There also did not provide any napkins but found it acceptable to provide a kitchen roll that everyone was picking up & tearing pieces off & which was wet to the touch. When we were finally able to eat our meal we found that the batter was totally raw & the fish was also not cooked thoroughly & cold due to having to wait for the cutlery. We complained & were able to get a refund on the food, but were still charged for the 2 cans of Cola- even though we had been provided disgraceful food & service. I had to visit the bathroom before leaving & yet again I found the cleanliness of the bathroom disgusting & no toilet tissue available. The cafe is attached to the supermarket & would it not have been possible for a member of staff to go next door for napkins & toilet roll? Is this the level of service that Morrisons finds acceptable to provide to their customers or are they more about profit over health & safety & cleanliness?

Staff so friendly and helpful I got helped by Ann and christina. A small cream tea perfect. Fantastic value for money.

My son and I enjoy the occasional fry up and once we saw the cafe onjoined to morrisons ( my favourite supermarket) we just had to try theirs. The service Was quick and sufficient the place was immaculate the staff were pleasant and welcoming and once the food arrived it was delicious and hit the spot for both of us. Needless to say we will be returning again hungry for more.
