Absolutely terrible fake chicken in curry and the chicken didn't taste fresh

Ordered dinner came so.e of it came within 15mins, called restaurant about the bits that are missing and was told they send it right away. An hour later I'm still waiting in mean time rest of food gone cold hard and horrible so called back and turns out it wasn't send out. Was told the exact words were next time quicker cook. Like how can u cook food faster. Anyway I told them I'm not satisfied a child had bo dinner and all in from first time ordering it's been nearly 2 hours so I wanted a refund. Got told to call uber eats for it. Used to love this place bit must be a new chef as my last 3 previous orders my egg foo young was burned and I let it slide but this tonight was unacceptable. I work in the industry for years bow and know how hard working it is but this was out of order not even sending the rest out. I will never order again food all changed amd don't get half and overcooked. Should have left it how it was before wen they called themselves happy house and not happy family. Foods just not enjoyable

DO NOT RECOMMEND I order food to only find a hair in the food. When I phoned to complain and ask for a refund the phone was put down on me twice

Disgusting food fired it in the bin after a few spoonfuls.if I wanted to eat oil I would have drank a bottle of it. Ribs soaked in oil curry oily and spices not mixed in properly pathetic

Ordered chicken & Ham fried rice and it came with gravy it didn’t state that on the menu so I called them up to get it replaced and the woman on phone they won’t coz it was my fault. She was arrogant & not nice I’ll never use New Happy House EVER again

First time we have ordered from here but won't be the last. My husband had a tofu dish and I had ribs. Both were delicious, huge portion size and value for money. Also ordered rice and chips, which were great. Super - speedy delivery too.

Great Chinese but suffering like most with mediocre chicken in the curry, I'm not understanding why we can't pay more for premium chicken.

The delivery driver was less than a minutes drive from my house when she phoned saying my address wasnt on the satnav. I explained it was a new build and offered to give her directions over the phone as she was incredibly close. She refused saying if it wasnt on the satnav she wasnt going to look for my house instead taking it back unless i went out to a dual carrigeway to meet her when im visually impaired and have an injured foot that i cant walk on. I said i wasnt able to so she took it back after i waited an hour and a half and she was less than a minute away She also had a bit of an attitude when i was just trying to be friendly and helpful

Terrible, ordered scran it didn't come all night place closed, I called the next day. When I called the lady had the cheek to be like "your order is on its way" like mam it was last night I would like i refund.😂, they also refused to refund me. Negitive 5 /5

We had chicken fried rice and chicken chew mein. Arrived earlier than expected which was great but the food disappointing!. The rice and noodles were dry and the chickenwas chewy!. We were very disappointed as this restaurant is normally spot on!. Maybe the chef has had an off day but i certainly won't be ordering from here again until the reviews indicate an improvement!. Overall, disappointing and average! 🙁

Not good! Garlic chips £5.50 laced with sugar and syrup and very soggy. Chicken in curry tasted fake not chicken breast and was £8.10. Rice was cold and salt and chilli chicken wings over powered with chilli. Overall disgusting will not be ordering from here again

Would give 0 if I could food looked absolutely disgusting and to top it off there was a hair in my salt and chilli chips the woman said they don’t do refunds next time maybe goto different shop and order this is the way they treat there customers no wonder thete 3.6 rated shop!! Absolute disgrace very rude think she is the owner and was charged £8.10 for all order salt chilli chips and a Szechuan sauce £3.50 she charged me because I asked if it can be more spicy lol but wasn’t even spicy was a normal watery sauce joke!!

The food is lovely, the staff are also lovely. I highly recommend this take away.

Me and my family ordered from your Gaf and the chips tasted like feet, YOUR chicken tasted like death and i cannot describe how sticky the chips were. WORST CHINESE GAF IN THE UK, please change the menu :)

Live 1 mile away ...2hrs later still waiting on a simple curry...joke... Well said food turned up, curry was conjelled and beefy chewy , Luke warm rice.....£22,60 straight in the bin....said new management same chefs. Definitely not same ingredients.....avoid at all cost 🤮

Waited almost 2 and a half hours for our delivery, Initially told they hadn't received our order and sounded surprised id ordered it through their app (which we always do). Was assured it would be sent out immediately and after a further 3 phonecalls and a further hour and 15 minutes we got cold, soggy food. Shame as it was always our go too. Might give it one more try as hoping it was a one off. I'd have given it 5 stars just the week before!

Delivery was super sonic and food always good 👍 it's always consistent wich makes me come back again

Took over 2 hours for delivery,food was cold. Kept getting told it was on its way.

2hrs and still waiting on delivery! Thought I would try different take away out but no way will I use this place again. I'll update tommorow or maybe Sunday when the food arrives!

My favourite place. Food is lovely and staff are very nice. Immaculate restaurant and toilets are spotless

This place is a disgrace placed an oder waited an hour and a half. Phoned them still another hour to wait order cancelled. JOKE

I've travelled all over the UK for work for the last 3 and a half years, this is the best duck I've ever had by a mile and then some. Perfectly cooked everytime, great portion of duck and consistent with every order

Great food never had a bad meal

Would AVOID this place messed order up and Would not rectify the order and also was over 2 hours for delivery and coustomer service on the phone was absolutely shocking with some to the language used

Ordered chips, got bag of strange smelling greasy ones, not impressed straight from fryer into paper poke after soaking up grease

First and last time ordering from here curry sauce was like water hardly any meat in curry. Phoned to complain the girl on the phone couldn't have been any nicer but the chef was having none of it obviously doesn't like criticism won't be using again

1st time eating from here ,very nice and would definitely order again.

Small order nearly an hour late rice standard but cold chips were rubbery as if they had been put in a micro to be reheated. Woman on the fone didnt even know if the order was already away

Have been going here for past two months food has always been at a high standard. They also have great offer of 4 items for £11 great value...

Delivery driver was amazing, great customer service. Ordered fried rice but got boiled rice, not a huge problem, but ordered it with curry sauce and received some curry sauce, however could barely coat 1/4 of the meal. It is excellent value and i get you get what you pay for. A simple order ended up being the worst i've ever received.
