Filthy as usual. Thursday and Friday always the worst!! Tables loaded with dirty dishes, food on floor. No tea spoons or napkins. Take forever to serve.

A good deal for vegetarian sausages, roll and coffee, 4 sausages too. I've been in regularly and staff member Sandra is an absolute gem, never too much trouble so friendly and attentive. Thank you

I'm a regular customer at Morrisons cafe in Dalkeith...... I have nothing but praise for all the staff there......go above and beyond with their customer service....nothing ever seems too much bother and always with a smile.....Whether it's a quick coffee or a meal... . I have never had a bad experience.....A massive thank you to Leeanne and colleagues who always brighten my day.... The special meal deal (£8.99) was absolutely fabulous tonight.....hot plate (very important to me),hot food and a decent tasting coffee (Americano) I eat out at upmarket restaurants fairly regularly and can honestly say tonight was on par with these establishments..... Absolutely amazing..... Maggie McManus Loyal Customer

Most of the menu is good value including the breakfast but avoid the fish - it's very very greasy, obviously from frozen and there is hardly any fish inside. It may seem like good value but it's really not worth it....... Go further down the High Street for much better choices.

Looked at Google to find a breakfast place on the way to the airport and found Stotties. Parked the car on the street just outside and went in. The owner, a happy and service minded man welcomed us with a smile. 2 latte and 2 breakfast rolls, one with bacon, cheddar and egg and one with bacon, potatocake and haggis on. Tasted lovely! Only 14£. Go to Stotties If you are hungery and want tasty fresh buns. Enjoy!

A locals pub but a friendly one! We were there around lunchtime and it was quite quiet. There is a larger area at the back for dining but unfortunately the kitchen was closed on our visit (Monday) so I'd like to visit again on another day to try the food. There are some lovely historic details including beautiful stained glass windows. Spotlessly clean ladies loo.
