Popped in few days ago about 1.30 for lunch and sadly very disapointed. Ordered pie, mash and peas and fish chips mushy peas. All paid for then we were told, no pies, no mushy peas! Had to be refunded partly and ordered sausage, mash amd garden peas and fish chips and garden peas. The fish was beautiful, the mash was nice, the chips were soft and had been obviously kept hot as was the hard sausages. To top it all no coffee in machines although this was replenished just before we left. I watched after tables were cleared by staff but didn't see 1 table wiped clean.. There was nowhere to put our used plates as the recepticals had not been cleared. To top it all off, went into ladies loos and there was more toilet roll on the floor than on the rolls plus someone had either urinated on the floor or tipped water on it, was disgusting!. I reported it to customer service think ladies name was Alison who said she would speak to staff abd was very sorry. Unsure if I'll give it another chance Morrisons to be honest.

They have now moved on from the 2 year lack of poached eggs to not having sausages at breakfast times , it’s not even a cheap breakfast anymore with portions getting way smaller and prices increasing a lot

Has gone down a lot over recent months , used to be really good food but last time I went the standard was poor , I gave them the benefit of the doubt and told myself it was one off , however went today with my daughter in law and wont be going again , chips were cold , beans not much better and the sausages looked as if they had been reheated three times over

Very disappointing meal, ordered chips and egg for a quick lunch. Eggs were floating in grease on a plate that was far too hot to touh. Chips were dry and had obviously been kept under the hot light for too long. Had to search for clean cutlery and wipe it with napkin. The place was not very clean and seemed to be short staffed. Never again.

Having been to Morrisons in Oswestry and been in a queue to be told when we got to the till there was no hot food because of electricity supply problems we travelled on to Welshpool for the roast dinner as it was a Sunday. We arrived well before 1 o’clock to be told they only had one roast chicken dinner left even though it was served until 2.30 pm. I thought a Sunday would be a popular day for a roast and they would have plenty of ingredients being in a supermarket. This is not the first time this has happened. It’s was very disappointing so we had to toss a coin for it. My husband lost and had to have the fish and chips instead. There was a special offer on of 2 main meals and a drink for £10 which was good value for money. we both enjoyed our meals which were well cooked and tasty. Will call in again and hope next time we both can have the roast chicken dinner.

After struggling to find a public convenience (llwybr cyhoeddus) in town, we thankfully found the dependable Morrison nearby. While there we had an all day veggie breakfast (in the cafe, not the WC!). Freshly cooked, delicious, and served by the friendliest staff ever. We'll definitely return when next in the area. Diolch yn fawr iawn I bawb.

I visited Morrisons cafe yesterday afternoon for a cake and a cup of tea. I was made aware of the cream tea by the friendly gentleman member of staff. I was delighted with his suggestion, the cream tea was delicious. Comprising of half a sandwich, a scone, a little pot of jam, a pot of cream, a butter pat and a pot of tea. At £2.99 this was excellent value for money and very delicious. Well done Morrisons and the gentleman who persuaded me to buy it.

I thought a simple snack would be a nice way to enjoy lunchtime. How wrong I was. I ordered a bowl of soup and an accompanying ciabatta roll. "We have no rolls", I was told. "But you have them for sale in bakery", I replied. "We are not allowed to have them. Do you want a slice of white bread?" "Do you have brown bread?" "Yes, do you want it toasted?" I sat down and before long the soup arrived with a slice of white bread. I was quite taken aback so went to the serving counter and asked for toasted brown bread. This resulted in three of the serving staff standing around pointing at me and no doubt making various comments. How to make a person feel small. I never got the brown bread; ate the soup quickly and disappeared.

Came in for breakfast as they had a half price deal on. Breakfast was beautiful. Plates were hot and the food hot throughout eating it. Service was great too

After waiting to be served for nearly 10 minutes decided not to bother , no one said a word just kept walking about putting cups and tea pots away but not saying anything to customers waiting , not overly busy , need to learn how to treat customers who help pay there wages

Quite slow to serve as one machine out of action. Latte was reasonable but could have been hotter. Thought about in store sandwich meal deal but choice and quality are very poor compared to Tesco or Boots

The breakfasts in here are hit and miss, but mostly miss, the bacon must be cooked in the oven, its absolutely awful curled up a funny colour and has shrunk, the mushrooms always look they are from a leftover plate, sausage is normally cold and burnt, and the chips taste like some type of wood,i can't understand why it is so difficult to cook a bit of food,it is disgusting food

Lots of choice of food here at a very good price! The food is always hot and tasty and there’s something for everyone to eat! Only downfall stopping them getting full stars is the cutlery is sometimes looking a bit on the tired and grubby side and isn’t kept very well stocked! Apart from that, it’s a good cafe.

Most Morrison restaurants offer the same menu at a very cheap price and that is why we go there. Service was swift, food good and there was lots of free parking. It is also centrally located so it is possible to wander into the town centre after the meal.

TOTAL ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!!! Popped in for 2 bacon sandwiches on white bread (pictured below) and 2 lattes...guess the price....no honestly have a go, pick a number at random. Guessed yet??? Bet your wrong!!!!!! £20 shocking pound. Yup, twenty Great British Pounds. 4 slices of the thinnest bacon imaginable 4 slices of brown bread despite ordering white and 2 teeny tiny lattes. £20 quid. Avoid like the absolute plague.

Recently visited here for breakfast with my family. The restaurant is small in terms of space and I can imagine if everyone had a trolley it would be hectic and cramped. Service was really good, couldn’t fault it at all. Food So, my boys and me both ordered the big breakfast, it was lovely presentation and given your in a supermarket cafe the food itself was lovely. My wife had scrambled eggs on toast which she said was lovely, the scrambled eggs didn’t look watery at all. Downside The only downside I have for the cafe is that the branded drinks are expensive, £1.09 for a can of Coke Zero to me is expensive. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back again

Lovely ancient pub which has retained plenty of character. Many items of interest on the walls. The first room after the entrance is the most charming, where we enjoyed a lunch of faggots, burgers and salads, washed down with the local ale. No recorded music: congratulations! Lunch for three including drinks was a reasonable £62.65.

What a dark and dingy place this is! It's pitch dark in there! As I went in for a drink a man came out and asked me if I had a torch! On buying a pint I understood what he was on about, you don't need a torch you need a SEARCHLIGHT! IN MY 73 YEARS IVE NEVER BEEN IN SUCH A DARK PLACE! Like most people my age I have fading eyesight, doesn't the Owner realise this or doesn't he/she care? On going to the toilet I banged my head on a low beam, good job I have a good head of hair or i'd have had a nasty bump on my head! I am considering contacting Powys Health and Safety re - the matter. A man with a sore head!
