Morrisons' Cafe in Neath Port Talbot

Foods fine for a quick bite and a coffee while food shopping, also great to meet up with friends for coffee. Car parking available for free. Family friendly. Card and cash taken. Fast service and friendly staff.

Hot chocolate is warm water and coffee, the food was good but the gammon I don't know what to call it up your hot chocolate

Table not wiped, food disgusting cold chip and burger burnt not many items on the menu ,most unavailable, coffee bitter and too strong no mayonnaise Thrown better food out in the bin

Dirty mugs x 3, raw mushrooms and supposedly a fried tomato which was also raw toast which must have been in the toaster for nano seconds definitely won't be going near the place again very very poor.

Really gone downhill, used to be a good place to eat. Food luke-warm at best. Rude cook, young man in front of us ordered poached egg on toast but got scrambled egg. When he complained we heard cook say she's cooked it now and not changing it so he'll have to have what she'd cooked. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

Ordered food to takeaway, geraint the chef was very busy but managed to keep up standards up our food was very nice. Father loved the fish and chips. And well done to the girls working out front it was very busy

Went for food yesterday had to ask for cloth to wipe my own table as it was filthy toast was burnt beans like warm and hard son ad chips that were burnt Not best

great coffee and service. breakfast was really good and prices were very reasonable. very handy charging ports. we went there about an hour before closing and was able to stay a bit longer. only issue is that it would be so much nicer and effective if it was open later occasionally.

Extremely poor management very slow waited 1/2hour for pie,mash,peas and gravy for nearly £14.00 definitely not worth the money I'm giving it 1 star because the waitress were great but food incredibly disappointing I would go there for a coffee again but not for food avoid food it was im sure a child's potion

I visited here with my 2yr old granddaughter...purchased a child meal chicken nuggets to find they weren't cooked and still frozen in the middle....won't be visiting here again that's for sure.

This place used to be good before the lockdown.. Portions are now tiny. and prices are the same Food also comes without frills and is very basic

Went for breakfast today , was told 30 minute wait but didn't mind, breakfast came out and we were told they had no brown sauce "the cafes in a super market" I requested a refund but the guy serving went and bought a bottle himself, I then noticed the beans were missing , I ordered 1 slice of toast and was shocked that it cost £1.75 for a single slice of toast.

Tried a cheese toastie. Not like before when they were full of cheese and really well toasted. The new cheese toastie consists of very little cheese inside. Only part that was toasted was the top piece with a little bit of cheese. Cost £3.95 just for the sandwich which before came with a portion of chips. Now it's an extra £1.50 for a bowl of chips. Definitely not worth th money.

SLOW SERVICE never got Fish, if you are lucky to even get served for take out, never anyone there, EVEN WHEN THE CAFE OPEN SERVICE IS APPAULING.. very rude staff, they have no social skills. food is average sometime hit and miss..need a deep clean in the cafe

have always had lovely food here, but yesterday really disappointed as we were looking forward to the christmas afternoon tea for two after doing our shopping. We arrived at 3.30 to be told they had run out of the sandwiches! apparently they do not keep them in the kitchen they fetch them from the chilled counter on the shop floor and they had all been sold. then we said we will have the fish and chips but no!!! there was no fish. ended up having jacket potato which was ok but really think they should be better prepared especially as the cafe is quite quiet during the pandemic and surely would not have run out of food.

Went there today, will never go again..first of all no fish at 3p,m????....took 15 mins to pay as the lady on the till did not know how to operate it eventually paid for a brunch OMG what a state on the meal the bacon was black eggs hard and I mean hard chucked on the plate, I thought STEVIE WONDER was the cook....... waited for the lady to come out , as the staff were invisible, eventually she came I asked her would you be happy with a meal like this, she replied NO way, I asked to see the person in charge...after waiting a further 15 mins, the lady Leah I believe came she was unapologetic, she asked me did I want another meal...which to be fair I had waited 40 mins..I was not offered a refund.she seemed uninterested just wanted to get home..didn't want to be there....she would be the last person I would employ in my company..customer service skills need to be on her agenda last time I will go there ever again.

While I understand this is a difficult time for all your staff who are doing their best at this difficult time,may I suggest that a one way system in the store would be a safer way to shop, as it is it is virtually impossible to stay the recommended 2 metre gap when some people are going in opposite directions in the aisle.

Ordered the fish & chips which took an age to arrive.The fish was rock hard.It had most probably been left standing being warmed up.

Visited LLANSAMLET this morning with friends. Absolutely ghastly. Totally understaffed, dirty environment. I've never had 'fake eggs before but I will never repeat the experience that's for sure. Luke warm, rubbery eggs. Gross!!! No avacado- even though we were in a supermarket??? Nothing prepared fresh. Never again!

Went for a coffee ☕️ while the wife started the shopping. Staff were thin on the ground and as a result the service was very slow. I was waiting at the till for a long time. The coffee was ok but still disappointed

food took a long time to arrive i had a breakfast and my daughter had gammon and chips the food was a bit warm not hot the toast was cold and stiff the bacon was dry and burnt the tomato was burnt round the edges the sausages were dry . The gammon was dry and tough to cut and most of the chips were hard in the middle. I know its cheap to eat here but i know now to pay the little extra and eat else where

We had food recently in the restaurant and we complained about the chips which were not hot, although the waitress said she would replace them, nothing happened, so this was rather disappointing.

I and daughter went to Morrisons for a breakfast and as far as I am concerned it is one of the worst I have tried. The bacon was almost raw the tomato was uncooked very greasy fried bread and poor quality sausage. I think in future I will stick to making my own breakfast

Okay for lunch, breakfast or tea. Staff always cleaning tables and generally clean all round. You may have to wait for your food so keep an eye on the table number's around you. Good choice on menu and special offer's

Recently called into Morrisons for breakfast with my mum and sister after my mum's hospital appointment. Menu is at the front of the café and then you go and get your tea/coffee and pay. Staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. We all had the small breakfast which consisted of 1 bacon, 1 sausage, fried egg, beans, hash brown and 2 pieces of toast. When it arrived it was hot and well presented and was very tasty and we all enjoyed. There are tables set aside for disabled people which is a very good idea. By the time we had finished some people were ordering lunches which looked very good as well. Good value and the small breakfasts were enough to fill us.Good choice for bigger eaters and we will go back and have their breakfasts or maybe try one of the their lunches. Very enjoyable with happy smiley staff, thanks.

Very nice since it's been refurbished, warm & friendly. Food is simple but we'll cooked & presented. The staff are warm and welcoming Especially the cafe manageress, she's brilliant to deal with & has an excellent sense of humour.

Visited the café twice recently and the food was very nice especially with small children, the free food all day was an extremely offer. Free hot drinks with the meals, so all in all, very enjoyable.

Popped in for breakfast before 9am so it was quieter. Menu is located by the entrance to the shop and the entrance to the restaurant. Then you order and pay at the till. Staff very friendly. Food arrived quickly and was freshly cooked. Very good value for money on the food. Cappuccino was £1.75 which personally I thought was a little bit expensive but when you pay double that in a branded coffee shop maybe it's not so bad. We have returned since and would return again.

Really fresh fish and chips with a drink for only £5! Cafe is clean and with plenty of space to sit and enjoy your food. Helpful staff. Would definitely eat there again.

We regularly eat here when we do our weekly shopping and overall find the food very good. There is usually plenty of choice unless you go later in the day when they have run out of the more popular items, although they do seem to have improved on this aspect lately.

I ordered bacon, egg, beans and mushrooms- not a big breakfast!! But as you can see I couldn't finish it as it was swimming in grease ! Just awful.

I called in Morrison's to do some shopping and my children and I had some lunch. To be honest, I didn't understand the gentleman eho wad taking our order as he sermed to be mumbling, consequently our order wasn't correct when it came to the table. The waitress was brilliant and so helpful. I had a tuna salad, and although it was in a takeaway box (misunderstanding) it was fabulous! Very reasonable and friendly waitresses. Diolch yn fawr

Took our grandchildren for dinner and the offer was for them to eat free with an adult meal. All enjoyed the food, though the service could be improved, the staff are allowed to smile and be friendly to the customers.

We decided to have a meal here with our grandchildren, it's a good deal as the children eat free with an adult purchasing a meal. Food was good, not too long a wait, though the sausages didn't come with the meal and we had to ask for them. Value was good and the staff serving didn't seem very happy, perhaps it had been a long day.

Cafe in Morrisons' supermarket, I pop in here occasionally for a light breakfast, the food isn't bad.
