All Morrisons cafes are the same. The same menu but it ends there. Wincanton has some good staff making your visit just a little better . Outstading value for money breakfasts. Never had a bad coffee. Credit where it's due , 5 stars from me

They are currently offering half price food. We stayed overnight in the TravelLodge next door and decided to grab something simple before continuing our journey to Cornwall.I ordered 2 sausage baps, 2 lattes and a tea. It came to a total sum of £3.90. That is crazy prices. The sausage bap was nice and the coffee fine too. We ordered for a takeout, unfortunately they did not have any cups for the hot drinks and we had to use coke cups which made it interesting.Great value

Less than half of checkouts open this morning at 8.a.m. causing very long queues of people in close proximity!!! WHERE Morrisons is your consideration of COVID 19 protection for your customers because there was NO evidence of it today? Not only that but the checkout clerk very sarcastically commented that she was seeing customers who are not regulars.. she change her attitude when I paid using the £5 voucher which you only recieve after spending a lot of money with Morrisons. So not just dangerous but unfriendly and judgemental attitude too.

This place offers traditional café food at bargain prices , so fair enough service is a bit hit and miss, and no , the quality is not great . but at these prices what else can one expect ? Well to b e honest I expect a gents toilet that doesn't have a permanent unpleasant smell to it .This is not something that has just happened recently . I shop in Morrisons every week and the toilet has smelt like this for as long as I can remember . and I cannot think of any other premises , and certainly not somewhere that sells food where the smell is so bad . Surely in this day and age and with all the resources that Morrisons has behind it, an odour free toilet should be easy enough to achieve?

Popped in for breakfast on Monday 11th November and to call the visit disappointing would be being kind. The wait of over twenty minutes for our food was ridiculous as we could see our meals waiting under the lamps for ten minutes. This can only be described as the most inedible plate of food I've had in my 55 year life. The food was barely warm let alone hot and the mushrooms were raw. We complained and were told that we could have another coffee while they cooked replacements, which unfortunately were only slightly better. If you're thinking of eating here I'd give it a miss.

Slow service. Miserable lady on checkout. Dreadful tea. Finished before the food arrived. The small cooked breakfast we both had was stone cold. They really don’t know what they are doing. Great opportunity missed. Must blame the bad management at Morrison’s Wincanton.

We had the fish n chips and Sausage and chips. The fish batter was inedable, it tasted like pure cooking fat and very crispy. Not joking when i say the worste i've ever tasted. The sausages looked and tasted like they have been kept in the warmer for hours. Don't bother.

Sadly the service was appalling and certainly a point I will be raising with senior management. To enlighten you a little, we chose to visit Morrison’s as it was just across the road from where we had been staying. It’s cheap, good value for money on the whole (based on our own Morrison’s) and was convenient I guess. Firstly: My partner noticed our table wasn’t clean.Secondly: My big breakfast (costing £6) was missing its black pudding.Thirdly: My breakfast was luke warm at best.Fourthly: The staff it seemed were unhelpful.Fifthly: My abandoned big breakfast, was left sat on our table, following my complaint, whilst my new breakfast was cooked. Sadly as a stark reminder, it was still sat there when we left. This was an unimpressive display by Morrison’s. I don’t think it was deliberate, but it wasn’t acceptable. The only reason they scored 2 stars, was due to them accommodating me changing our order at the start.Sadly, a bit of a disappointment, and despite my second attempt at the breakfast, I didn’t relish it that much in the end.

We often have lunch in Morrisons even if not shopping in there. The food is generally good and priced very fairly. We shall be going back very soon i'm sure.

Very busy on arrival with most tables occupied. Some tables available however full of used dishes. Staff work hard in here producing the food yet not cleaning and tidying after the customers have left. Tables could do with a decent wipe over when someone has gone. Not all customers self clear which would also help the staff and leave available tables for new customers coming in.Food cooked to an adequate standard, menu limited mainly breakfasts.

Had breakfast in here yesterday morning. My Husband had tea with toast and marmalade, I had sausage sandwich and a cup of supposedly hot chocolate, hardly warm. The sandwich wasn’t bad, I had to look for a table that wasn’t full of dirty dishes, when I did find a clear one the table itself was dirty. Customers are supposed to take their trays with dishes on and put them in racks, most people did this but the staff never came to wipe the tables, I carry wet wipes with me so had to wipe table myself.

Foods fine, delivered by one of the many staff if only they could take a dirty tray back with them it would be great , instead every table had empty plates on and the tray stacker was full. Every single waitress just ignored them .

About a month ago we dropped into the Morrisons Wincanton café for breakfast. At the ‘till I was informed that they had run of Quorn sausages... when I suggested that they sell them in the store and they should use them I was informed that they couldn't 'because of allergens'!

Stayed at Travelodge and told by the staff there that Morrisons did breakfast,so we went there on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th Oct. It was all very well organised... from mini t-Pots with T-bag inserted...or choice of coffee if so required...staff take order...you're given a number, which you put up like a flag and 5-10 minutes later a waitress pops round with your breakfast.

Stopped here on our way home as it’s just off the A303. Had to ask for plates and then there was a problem with milk. Seating area is grubby and tables piled with dirty plates etc - maybe part of the problem is the self clean tray racks were full. Plenty of young staff milling around but all had the unsmiling demeanour of those who’d rather be elsewhere. Also seemed to take ages to get through the till. That having said, meals are great value (£3.60 I think for fish n chips) plus kids eat free with purchase of an adult meal after 3pm. So overall - worth it for a quick fill but definately not for the ambience!

The staff are to be highly commended for their patience, friendliness and excellent service. The breakfast that we had was plentiful, delicious and served promptly, despite being told there was a 25 minute wait. Overall excellent.

The first thing that struck me as I walked in was the stench of stale grease - it smelled like the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned and I already suspected the food would be bad…I WAS RIGHT! We paid £50 for two milkshakes, two pulled pork rolls and a side of onion rings which left us feeling physically sick and unable to finish our meal. When the rolls arrived they were not in brioche rolls as advertised in the menu - it came in a cheap, stale white roll. When we challenged this we were offered brioche rolls but we declined as by that point we’d already realised it probably wouldn’t make a difference. The pork had a funny smell and an even stranger after taste. I tried to improve the taste by adding bbq sauce from the table but that made it worse - God only knows how long it had been there and it was cheap and nasty. It didn’t even taste like barbecue! The salad advertised on the menu was virtually non-existent; it consisted of half a lettuce leaf, a teaspoon of coleslaw, one ring of red onion and one slice of tomato. The fries also tasted odd. They tasted like they’d been deep fried in oil that hadn’t been changed since the place opened in 2014. The onion rings tasted even worse! It was a challenge not to bring the whole lot up in my mouth and we had to leave as the smell of oil and grease was making me ill. I love supporting small businesses and was so looking forward to my visit for my partner’s birthday today but we were bitterly disappointed. I can see what they’ve tried to do but unfortunately they’re cutting too many corners to be able to do it well.

Always very busy but sometime thus is not so good as you end up with dirty trays underneath where they've nit been properly cleaned. Love the White Hot Chocolate though 💖🩷
