Morrisons in Wyre Forest

Not happy with service, we ordered coffee and tea while waiting for our meals... We had drank our drinks as we had to wait half an hour for food... One staff member was having there break at one of the tables.. food arrived and had to ask them to take the beens away as they looked awful.. and was still waiting for chips which came a couple of minutes later... Bacon was cold sausage was shriveled in the outside..... On a plus note poached egg was nice..... Will not be going back again.... Shame it used to be great..

First visit, probably the last !!! So disappointing, staff were really helpful but looked totally demoralised. Flooring is loose which is a major hazard especially as the cafe when we visited was predominantly used by the elderly. Cafe is general was dirty, tables, floor etc, plates not cleared. Coffee machines are held together with gaffer tape, all Perspex panels around the cafe were filthy. The food was ok, not amazing but not bad. All in all this looks like a cafe that was nice at some point but is now well past its use by date, this reflects in the way staff morale appears to be. Come on Morrisons give your cafe some love and staff some support, maybe your reviews will improve.

Poor service waiting by till for someone for service when he came to till he looked like he thought it was funny don't think this cafe will last long with this attitude of service won't be going again

This cafe has deteriorated so much. Have watched it go down hill for some time now. Never any staff to be seen. Always a 20 minute or so wait. Tables still cluttered with used crockery. Ordered at machine. Had to go looking for a table order number as non there. 1 coffee machine not working. ( This seems to be the norm). No milk. Some found in box under counter. No serviettes at beverage area. Tables not clean. Sticky residue left where they had been wiped. Food was ok but not as good as it used to be. Such a shame. Not as many customers these days either.

Was stopping locally at a travel lodge morrisons breakfast was recommended. Place was empty ordered using the self serve . Offered egg on toast and full English. Waited good 10/15 mins when food arrived very disappointed. Cold toast greasy eggs . Full English bacon still mooing, black pud over cooked cold toast ,cold tomatoes greasy egg worsed breakfast iv had in a while my local morrisons would never serve that . The service definitely not a morning person slammed plates down only good thing was the coffee to be honest sorry wouldn't recommend

PICKED UP A CREAM TEA FOR 4 AS TREAT FOR FRIENDS LOVELY FRESH FOOD , ASSTORTMENT OF CAKES I THINK I HAD 4 SANDWICHES EACH LAST TIME I ORDER SOME TIME AGO , WE HAD 3 EACH IN BOX . HAM, EGG, PRAWNS , THE PRAWNS NEEDS SOMETHING LIKE BIT OF COCKTAIL SAUCE HAS WAS VERY DRY , WE HAD TO PUT EXTRA BUTTER ON BREAD AS LOOK LIKE IT WAS PUT ON AND SCRAPED OFF ,

I am absolutely disgusted with the service in the Kidderminster cafe this morning (Sunday 12th November). Firstly, the cafe was not very clean, the coffee machine was broken and the wait time was more than expected. There was a queue of three couples in front of us and a man had to shout can we be served before someone came to the desk to serve us. But what disgusted me was the staff attitude. Every single member of staff had a face like thunder and wanted to do ANYTHING BUT help the customers. An elderly couple struggled to find the tea and a lady huffed at them when she had to help them. In all honesty I struggled to find the tea facilities and I am a woman in her twenties!!! Secondly, a man who clearly had additional needs walked in to the cafe and the staff were reluctant to serve him. They were pushing each other as in ‘you go and serve him I don’t want to’ like children. I was outraged. This poor man struggled to find the tea facilities and he shouted ‘can somebody help me’ 10 times. In the end myself and my friend helped him make his tea. A waitress came over and thanked me for helping him. I said well it’s not hard to be nice. I would have passed this all over to a manager if somebody could have found them!!! There wasn’t a manager to be seen in the two hours I was there. I have emailed Morrison’s once I got home and formed an official complaint. Disgusting behaviour I have never witnessed such discrimination and vile attitudes. I wonder if the staff would treat their elders or family with additional needs the same!!!! DO BETTER. Morrisons please provide your staff with better training towards the elderly and those with additional needs and teach your staff how to be kind!!!! It’s not hard.

JUST BEEN IN TO MORRISONS CAFE HAVE LOVELY BACON SANDWICH AND AFTERNOON TEA, STAFF WERE NICE AND FRIENDLY, TABLES WERE ALL NICE AND CLEAN,

Had sausage on roll x 2.was burnt asked for replacement. Brought replacement with an attitude. was also burnt but not as bad.told go and get money back.anyway we kept the second lot.did not taste nice st all.person taking money was coughing her head off.she should not be near food also should have mask on.lot of tables with trays left on them.tables were not clean.will not be back.

Not much gluten free choices coffee machines need attention to make coffee hotter tables not being cleaned regularly 😞 food and litter left on floor under and around tables sausages I had looked like yesterday's left overs no sign saying where to order gluten free meals only sign is by the till 😖

We had a cream tea which was delicious. And the pot of tea was lovely too. You get half a round of either ham or egg sandwich and a scone, jam and cream and pot of tea for only £2.99.... bloody bargain and it was all lovely quality....well done morrisons. You made my old friend very happy!!!!!

We've eaten here before but it has really gone downhill in quality and service. Longish wait to place order, then had to wait over ten minutes for clean forks to arrive - and when they did, they were soaking wet! Obviously, just taken out of the dishwasher. Food was mediocre, delivered to table 25 minutes after order placed. Won't be eating there again in a hurry.

Not worth the money. Poor quality food. Expensive for what it is. Visited with supposed 75% NHS discount. Person serving said we had to purchase in separate transactions despite both having NHS ID. She also said that drinks from the dispenser were included. We had planned to get afternoon tea but this wasn’t included in the offer. Got scampi and chips and chicken burger in a brioche bun with chips and extra bacon with 2 drinks. This would normally cost £18. It cost £8.11 so certainly not 75% off. The bacon was a tiny slither. The chicken burger was tiny too. Meal was more of a snack. Safe to say we won’t be returning to pay full price.

Visited cafe Saturday 29th October 4 o’clock. Granddaughter has food intolerance problems.No problem for staff on duty,they explained menu as to what she could have from menu. All our 4 meals were excellent. Well done to o the staff. Dave from Warrington.

Used this regularly but not been for a few months totally gone downhill , grubby floor and tables litter everywhere dirty plates loaded on tables 1 hour 20 minutes wait for a breakfast , bacon raw mushrooms uncooked food was slapped together , no cups for tea waited 20 minutes for them to be restocked all condiments empty and staff unapologetic never again

Had a shocking experience today for breakfast. Ordered at 11.03 and requested refund at 12.15. Shocking and won't be returning. All well and good advertising fathers day breakfasts at half price but with no staff to prepare and deliver or even have cups available for drinks ! Morrisons you need to seriously review your performance !!

No cutlery, no cups, no visible staff. When I did approach a member of staff who was clearing a table I was told what I needed was in the dishwasher and she was too busy trying to clear the tables on her own to help further!!

Kidderminster store , 23RD February 12pm , Fish fried to death rock hard , Peas Luke Warm and they looked dreadfully in colour dark and a measly amount of chips All For £6_50 was it worth No , thanks Yet again for a poor meals.

Myself and my family went to the cafe for breakfast , we were served by a young man called max not once but a few times I'm hoping this gets back to him and his manager commends him on his fantastic service , he was extremely polite and gave 100% customer service .

Often call here after shopping, and always find staff to be efficient, helpful. We like the quality and price of the food, which is good, no-nonsense fare, decent quality, and served up well. The menu was a bit limited when we came out of lock...

Visited for breakfast and was surprised at the lack of cleaning taking place. We were there probably 45 minutes and never saw anyone clean the self service hot drinks dispenser despite the high level of people using it. Tables were left uncleared and not cleaned...

From fresh garden plants to pet food there is choice and plenty of it. If your doing general shopping drop in should you need fresh bread,fish, deli meats and cheese or butchery meat there is great choice and value

I am a regular customer to Morrison's but today I witnessed what I can only describe as poor management. I witnessed one of the managers speak to a member of staff in front of customers in a disgraceful manner. This was not only overheard by myself but other customers. Before I retired I worked in retail management and always showed respect to staff by speaking to them in a private environment not in public view. The manager who represents Morrisons should also ensure his dress is appropriate as I can only describe him as scruffy and looked like he just got out of his bed as his shirt was creased and not tucked in. Not what you expect from a retail manager in my opinion.

We come here quite often, there is nothing fancy about it and there is usually a wait for hot food 20-40 mins, but it’s tasty, good value and popular.......hence the wait Recommend for a no frills meal/snack

Went at approx 9am, staff running around trying to stock up empty shelves, some completely empty, others with yesterdays stock on them, stocking trolls making it diff to get round.

I had a Morrisons Match & More voucher for a Big Breakfast, so called in here today and gave it a go. Good in parts, bacon, sausages and egg good. Hash browns, beans over cooked. Toast, bread not toasted. Tomato and mushrooms ok. And the breakfast was only just warm. All in all not bad but nothing to rave about but I would have to be very hungry to buy another Big Breakfast.

Today, 21.12.18, my wife and I shopped at the Kidderminster store, as we usually do several times a week. On this occasion my wife had to pick up an item from M&S;, so after some discussion we decided that I would load the car with our purchases and meet in the café in 30 minutes or so for coffee.

Two drinks machines... Never seen both working at the same time.

Visited this place for breakfast today, it doesn't deserve the title restaurant. Ordered two small breakfasts plus two cafe lattes. The machine made cafe lattes were very poor almost tasteless, like dish water. Some of the condiment shelves were empty, when I asked an assistant for sachets of Brown Sauce and Salt I was told " Got None" poor attitude or what!

As most other reviewers have noted the waiting time for food is ridiculous. 45 minutes for a roll after we had been told at the till 15 mins is really annoying. When the rest of the store is built on efficiency and customer service it’s crazy that the cafe is so poor. Whoever is responsible for the system that’s used from order to delivery needs to take on board some of the customer comments and take some action to improve things. There’s too much competition out there for you to ignore requests for better customer service.

good food, nice staff, food portions good. Coffee machine is always breaking down and always run out of tea spoons.Milk is served by way of a milk carton which is handled by up to 60 customers or more before being replaced.. So wash your hand after using or pick up with a napkin. Cakes expensive and small in size ,however they are available at a good discount after a certain time of day.

Considering that this is a large supermarket which sells FOOD - by late morning, the 'restaurant' had run out of jacket potatoes and cheese and onion slices from their fairly limited menu.

Went for breakfast it tasted rubbish bacon was dry what you got of it food dry not a lot for your money for what you pay it tasted that it was heated up in the microwave did not taste fresh I left it as I could not eat it. will not eat here again

Had breakfast here not tried their food before. Good food, good service and everything was well cooked and served with a smile.

Light and airy with lots of natural light in the restaurant. We only had coffees which were nice, and good value at £1.75.

Went with my partner for Sunday lunch, ordered the roast beef dinner which took 45 minutes to arrive. The beef was dried out and tasted more like liver, mash potatoes were powdered, Yorkshire was soggy at the bottom, baton carrots were cold, peas were passable, gravy was watery. I will never again have a meal at any Morrisons restaurant!!!!!!

Come here often as a break from the weekly shop or just as a treat for my granddaughter. Prices here are some of the lowest in town and the quality of their cakes and coffee is great. Their meal deal for kids is well worth the money and contains healthy options as well as kids favourites. The cafe area is well sited within the shop and is spacious so no matter how busy they are, there are always seats available. Only criticism is that the shelves run low on stock at times but if you ask the cafeteria staff for something they will go into the kitchen to fetch it for you.

Came here for lunch,ordered fish and chips twice and mini fish and chips,we were told 20 minutes wait,we had it finally after 45 minutes,it was cold and disgusting,not nice at all,it wasn't a hot meal at all

Called in here for coffee after completing a grocery shop. Ordered 2 cappuccinos and was directed to the coffee machine to serve ourselves. The coffee dispensed has got to be some of the worst I have ever tasted. It was nothing more than hot milk. Disgusting and a complete waste of money. I will not be returning for a second helping.

Staying down the road @ the Travelodge & the receptionist recommend Morrison café for brekkie. Bit concerned when we walked in as so busy & were told 20 min wait. Ordered, Paid & 20 min later our brekkie's were served. Spot on with timing & spot on with the food. Also place was clean & tidy. Great recommendation!

We go to Morrisons cafe at least once a week, we have never had a bad meal here, always cooked great, staff are very friendly and helpful, a good price and plenty of food, sometimes busy but they have always told us of the wait for food, we don't mind the wait because you know they are cooking it and preparing it for you(not just reheating ). New lay out is better

I go every week, l go after shopping and go into the restaurant about 6.30pm you can have a meal and a drink for about a fiver and you can add a pudding for a pound the fish and chips are great and the mushroom omelette is really good infact all the meals are good i think i have tried them all

Morrisons are the best it's clean friendly and nothing is to much for the staff to help you with

Called in today (3 of us) for a midday meal. We all had sausage,egg and chips with bread and butter. What could be easier to cook than this?

We called in for a quick snack after visiting the Museum of Carpet next door and were delighted not only with the range and quality of the food but also the very reasonable cost. The surroundings were clean and pleasant and the staff friendly.

we have dinner here every friday night. and coffee and snack monday lunctimes. excellent value foods nicely cooked. sometimes a long wait for food if they are busy.

We haven't been to the cafe for a while, there are new chairs and tables and a smarter separate tea/coffee dispenser area. One of us had salmon with mashed potato and the other lamb shank with mash and gravy. Both meals included a standard drink for £5 each! Also £1 desserts with a choice, if you had enough room left! Very impressed, food stopped being served around 7pm on a Saturday. Absolute bargain, food delicious, very hot, staff very good.

The cafe is large,very clean and tidy with a good variety of meals available. We chose our meals and was told that we were entitled to a free drink each. The food was very good both in taste and size. Great value. A special mention for the staff who were 1st class.

Food is fairly good, but feel it is kept under hot lamp too long most times I have visited. Always a wait of at least 25 minutes.

As ever Morrisons serve a breakfast which is freshly cooked at a great price. there is also a good choice of other cooked meals in a fresh looking airy restaurant.

Popped in our local Mortisons for a quick dinner. Ordered and told would be 15 mins wait - I said that was fine.

I came to Morrison's on an early morning as i was in the area with my friends. We was going on holiday to Brean, So we left Birmingham and went to pick up are friends. We went to morrison's and the breakfast was cheap and bloody amazing! Very good and cheap and products are also cheap! Staff where amazing helping us find our way around.

Cant beat the big breakfast for value, always enjoy it! Never had to wait long for it even when its busy.

Called into Morrison's to get some supplies, fruit, veg, milk etc after returning from holiday, decided to eat in their restaurant as it was so convenient, we were pleasantly surprised that they offer two meals plus a free drink after 3 PM for £9.00 plus an option of a sweet for an extra pound.

I love having afternoon tea here. You can sit and gaze out of the huge windows and watch the world go by. You get a pot of tea, a sandwich and a scone or cake for two, for less than a fiver.

We chose the hunters chicken plus gammon, egg and chips for our two meals, including a drink, for £10. The hunters chicken was excellent, but the gammon was very disappointing, being tough and with little taste. Overall a disappointing meal, but I may have been unlucky with the gammon, and would try the cafe again if I am in Kidderminster.
