Part of the breakfast was missing despite telling the staff about it I still never got it which wound me up to the point after 10 minutes I left my breakfast and left Morrisons of Witham and I’m afraid to say I won’t be returning.

I travelled to Morrisons in witham today by taxi with my 88 year old mother for a fish and chip lunch. We travelled by taxi as I don't drive on arrive at 2pm I was told that they wasn't serving anymore hot food due to shortage of staff. This has happened before. So I had to get another taxi to take us into witham for lunch. This has happened before. I will not be visiting Morrison again for lunch or anyother meal.

Don’t waste your time or money here. Managers obviously don’t care about their staff. Only 3 or 2 people on at once. Honestly a sh*t show!

I've had many disappointed visits to this restaurant. Dirty tables, poor service, running out of things, food mediocre, etc. It had a refurbishment recently, so I gave it another try. I must say the service was excellent, food superb, and everywhere was clean. I got there just after it opened, so such good conditions may not last all the day, I might well use them again later in the day to find out.

Witham Road
We decided to try this tea room for the first time after being given an afternoon tea for 2 gift card as a birthday treat. I have to say we were more than happy with the whole experience. It was welcoming, the staff were brilliant and the surroundings were very clean. We had 2 lovely sandwiches with a salad garnish. The salad leaves were so fresh, brilliant. Followed by 2 very good fruit scones, jam and clotted cream and more little cakes on the top tier of the cake stand . Tea and coffee was also included. Thank you.

8 Market PlWalked in... waited for around 4 mins. Someone was scrubbing something out back. Had a table of people sat in the corner vaping. So walked out.

2 Chipping HillAnother local pub close to me. Always serves a decent pint of lager and seem very friendly. Very handy for parking at the station too and paying inside, cheaper than the station car park!

kelvedon High StreetMe and my girlfriend went for valentines and couldn’t be more disappointed. I booked the table online and then had a call from the restaurant saying that I needed to pay a deposit over the phone, so I paid it. Then when I checked my bank account they had overcharged me for the deposit. When we got there the place had a strong fishy and musty smell especially in the dining room which was very unpleasant. We ignored this and was hoping the food would be good but it wasn’t. The prawns to start had so much garlic and salt on them and were tough to bite into. The main course fillet steak had a charcoal burnt taste to the outside, the chips tasted frozen and the blue cheese sauce was like hot milk with a hint of blue cheese. We decided not to stay for desert but because of it being a set menu they gave us it to take away. The desert was inedible they gave us 2 rock hard, Ice cold chocolate brownies. This is not what you expect for £150 meal!! Don’t waist your money or time going here it’s dreadful! ruined our Valentine’s Day.

30-31 Newland SreetIf only I had read the reviews first!! Should have done myself cheese on toast instead, would have had more flavour. AWFUL!!! Tried one slice, the rest in the bin 😏
