Just had chicken tikka kebab from here and it was beautiful also had fried onions in them which is my favourite. . Collected food and was ready straight away . Lady behind the counter is so nice . Will definitely be trying a curry soon

We were enticed to Morris Spice and spent very little pay on Christmas day with free poppadoms. The place is clean and pleasing, with seating welcoming to wait. On the menu chart for starters a tasty bhaji was best, with mint sauce and of course a can of coke. One curry was a beauty of a balti, with aroma and spice so nice with nan. Another was a supreme dream of a madras: a steal of a meal with pilau. And oh boy! the joy of a rogan josh was sublime with hints of lime and lemons. I espouse the best curry house here. At a bargain price for curry rice or fries, a deal of a meal I recommend.

Very very disappointed, can't see any chicken between 2 chicken dishes & a keema nan supposed to have meat in it, chicken pakoras is just fried dough nothing in it.. shocking & never ever again! Never

We ordered a takeaway from here last night for a family members birthday, it was my first time ordering from here. It didn't take too long from ordering until the food was ready for delivery. The food arrived and although it wasn't the best Indian I've tried it was ok overall, although the Rogan Josh dish was way to spicy that my father couldn't eat it. We spent nearly £80 on the order which was including a £3 delivery charge and no poppadoms were chucked in with the order. We ordered a chutney tray which also didn't include poppadoms. I called the landline number on the website but no answer, there was a mobile number so I tried that to which a man answered and was very rude and inappropriate. I then called the landline again and spoke with a lady who advised the mobile number isn't there's although it is on their website. She apologised and said no poppadoms included in thr chutney tray you have to order and pay separate. I asked why none were thrown in seeing as we had ordered a substantial amount of food, again the lady apologised and said she couldn't send anyone back out but we could go there and collect some which I didn't want to do otherwise I could have collected in the first place and had saved myself £3. Not likely that I will be ordering from here again.

i do this to try and save those that work hard and want to have a good quality takeaway treat at the end of the weekend.. delivery 2/10 it’s 1.3 miles from my home yet a £4 delivery charge??!! you chartering a plane?? starter.. 4 small onion bhajis nothing great , but ok.. 5/10 mint sauce ( paid for) lovely 8/10 salad as part of the starter 4/10 nann bread .. 10/10 delicious chicken tikka balti.. 5/10 nothing to split between that and a normal chicken balti which i also ordered pilau rice 7/10 overall.. for £28 i want more value for money.. 5/10.. it’s ok, just ok. had much better in the st thomas and hafod area.

absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! i have been searching for a few years for a nice indian and tonight i found one. Worried at first due to low prices, however what was delivered was fresh, full of taste and plenty of it. It arrived in good time and the delivery driver was brilliant, polite and friendly. Myself and my partner have recently moved to the area and have been on the hunt for a local Indian. And WOW! I can happily say they’ve got a new regular customer on their hands, food was absolutely amazing and portions were huge. The kids also loved their meals will most definitely be returning, thanks a lot!

Enjoyed the curry, make sure you have a fire extinguisher to put the flames out lol 😰😰😰 Enjoyed my Rogan curry & my partner had Vindaloo, which was very hot 🔥 🥵🥵🥵. My partner is a vindaloo man & now he's indaloo.....lol 🤣🤣🤣. Very happy, nice curry, I would recommend.

You need to stop your delivery driver answering the phone i ask for a set meal for the set meal for one a pathia "CURRY"and he told me i had to pay a pond more because pathia isnt a curry.....Well iv been coming there and eating them for years and it looks and tastes like a curry to me so im going to the Rane now

Phoned up to see where my food was told me it left shop and same person on phone delivered it…. Food was cold and not nice won’t be going back there

Absolutely stunning food! So fresh and tasty, great service too, the only slight criticism I’d give, and it’s very picky, is the website is a bit clunky to navigate, but that’s just my opinion, the product itself though cannot be faulted, very happy.

Had food here before and was ok, but the last time the food was rank,no chicken in the masala, cold chips the lamb dansak was awful. Guy shouting down the phone when asked for a refund as the food was inedible, the would not sort out the issue but said next time you spend £25 here we will knock off half No empathy or understanding that they were at fault and we hadnt had our meal ?? Ive not eaten from there since

Paid for extra chicken which I didn’t receive! And it was also very scrappy tiny bits of chicken with no flavour to it… asked them to please make sure there was a normal amount of meat in my keema naan and I think they burnt it and gave me old meat on purpose as it’s inedible and have had to throw away… they are now ignoring my calls

Omg what can I say I've just had a meal from this Indian takeaway and i can honestly say its the best I've ever had. Chicken curry pilau rice beautiful.The onion bhaji and mint sauce is absolutely stunning everything cooked fresh and it was nice and hot. I will definitely be having a my takeaways from here again.Top marks.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight it ended up coming a little later than stated but when we rang the takeaway they were very apologetic explained they had only 1 delivery driver turn up tonight and reassured me I'd be next 15 mins later the same guy I talked to delivered it to me personally as the delivery driver was running behind! It was well worth the wait great sized portions, really flavoursome currys and the chips were lovely, will definitely make another order! 😋 great customer service also thank you morris spice for a really tasty meal.

Noor is a great chef. They are one of the more authentic tasting takeaways around. Much more flavour, seasoning and aromatic notes in the food compared to the likes of places like Jubo Raj in Morriston. Morris spice generally prepare top quality food. If you want to get the most out of any takeaway, never get it delivered. I live 100 yards away from their kitchen. By time I walk home everything is still hot and crispy. Never expect wonders with delivered food! I would recommend some of the more traditional dishes like a Karahi, Kochi or Shashlick. This prace is arguably the best takeaway in Swansea.

Great family run business..Foods great too

Tonight we received the worst customer service ever. Placed an order, took twice the amount of time to arrive which we could understand on a Saturday but then 3 items didn't arrive. Called only to be refused a refund, after over 30 minutes on the phone with a member of staff who was shouting down the phone. Eventually the resolution was a refund was possible for items not received but we have to drive across Swansea to get a cash refund which is not currently possible as we are without a car. Still no refund, still no apology. Disgusting customer service, a real shame as we were regulars. Won't ever touch again.

The actual Indian food is always really nice but the chips look and taste like they have been left to stand for hours. Other than that fantastic place and would still recommend!

I'm so disappointed. We order from here on a regular basis as we've always thoroughly enjoyed and I've left a 5 star review previously. The goa green vegetables is usually amazing and my favourite dish from here. However this eve it was like eating raw chillies and impossible to eat. My husband rang to be told nothing can be done as I've tasted it and people eat most of their food and take it back after complaining. He said I'd only had one mouthful and is impossible to eat as its way too hot but again he said nothing can be done. I have emailed Morris spice to say how disappointed we are and he should have a word with the chef about the number of chillies he put in it and then he will know my complaint is genuine. They've handled this all wrong and we won't be returning as customers. My meal went in the bin. A complete waste of money.

Best Indian I’ve ever tasted , I’m so fussy when it comes to food, but this Indian was the best I’ve tried, highly recommended

Ordered onion bhaji (4 pieces), papadums, paneer jalfrezi and mushroom fried rice. Very tasty dishes, pleasant staff and a seating area to wait. Varied menu which includes plenty of vegetarian/vegan options as well as meat and fish.

Lovely family run take away. Very friendly. Any requests catered for, nothing too much trouble. Food always top notch👍🏻

second time ordering food, not very nice on both occasions, but give them a second chance, chicken tikka masala was basically korma with red food dye in, didn't even have chicken tikka was normal chicken. Chicken curry had a strong taste of aniseed, reminded me more of chinese, will not be bothering again.

First and last time I will try this take away, I achicken chilli masala what I got was a right red sauce with lumps of chicken.. Absolutely no flavour and not cheap. I will go back to the one I always use knowing I will have a better meal and not so expensive Wees

Avoid this place asked for 2 chicken jalfrezi with out garlic has i dont like it. The guy on the phone confirmed my order for pic up. Arrive home to find my food is full of garlic cloves phoned them up to complain and the guy was very rude, and wouldn't offer a different meal of a refund. Foidvin bin 🙁

Ordered Chicken Pathia and Chicken Balti with sides, absolutely great meal and would totally recommend Morris Spice to everyone, I am not from the area, but visit quite regularly, I have tried various local Indian restaurants and none have been as lovely, excellent flavours and balance of heat within the dishes.

My Wife is vegan and I have to say these are some of the nicest curries I’ve ever had.

1st time try tonight. Last time. Chicken hard, bland and poor quality. Nan bread dry and tasteless. We tried it for a change but back to where we know is good. Very poor.

Excellent food every time we order the jalfrezi is the best we have tasted been having the food delivered of which was around 45min last week ordered the same time and had a confirmation of a 2hr wait for delivery will be having the food but collecting it from the shop

We ordered a takeaway last night to celebrate what would have my dad's 90th birthday - he sadly missed it by 3 weeks. As it was a special occasion we decided to get something different - so we ordered a paneer shashlick, a Goa green curry, pineapple rice a tarka dall and a kulcha naan. It was all absolutely delicious - the paneer shashlick was stunning - and the curry was a mouth-watering combination of taste that tantalised the taste buds. The best takeaway we've ever had by far - my dad would have loved it. Try something a bit different from this menu if you can - you certainly won't regret it!

Decided to try this newly opened takeaway last night. Food arrived quickly and very hot as it's local to us. Poppadoms and onion bhaji to start and they were excellent with a nice thick tasty mint sauce so an impressive start. I had Chicken Jalfrezi as my main as it's my favourite dish. Wow! It was the best I've had from a takeaway with the sauce how it should be and plenty of onion, chicken and chilli's. I also tasted my partners paneer tikka masala which was excellent and she was also very impressed. I've lived here for many years now and this is by far the best Indian takeaway in the area. Please keep up this high standard.
