Morley’s in Barking and Dagenham

Chicken was pink. When I call to complain they put the phone down on me. Will never be going back

This is just local chicken shop but I must say their chicken wings are way better than KFC. It's taste so good when it's fresh. Small shop so Atmosphere is not nice but wings is the best

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I’ve consistently had the runs after eating their chicken. Whether I order it or go there in person it’s still the same result. Wouldn’t recommend.

Staff is rude dying inside depressed and extremely rude 0 If I had the chance food is oily worse food I have ever had ill would've shut them down If I had the power

Man the food not good at all Due to OLD Oil fries were unbelievable and burgers were full of that Old OIL even the wings were not nice at all .FIRST AND LAST time. My family tried them before and when I told them it's from Morley they said few months ago we had the same issue

I ordered online and some things were missing. When I called the shop they said it’s not their problem and refused to help. Horrible service

Chips are perfect. Chicken ok but greasy. Would have been 5 stars. But found long hairs. In the chicken coatings.

Worst place ever paid with my card and they stole money off my card and refuse to pay me back my money they stole. Who pays £20 in Morley’s it’s not KFC. That’s the whole point. Chicken was nasty and pale I had to get them to refry the wings. It’s a joke. Don’t BUY FOOD HERE

The service is soooo bad. You will be waiting 15 minutes before anyone even acknowledges you. the service is slow. The man serving at lunch time everyday looks like he is high on drugs. Very slow and rude. Moves like a zombie.

Absolutely disgusting disappointed go for food late and get home to find the chicken thighs as been cooked so many times its gone hard not happy at all been calling for 15 mins about it no answer but they dont closed until 11pm

Terrible customer service, walked in at around midday, waiting 5 minutes to be served, walked out without being served as the staff seemed more bothered having a conversation than actually providing a service to customers!

Chicken wings taste weird compared to other branches iv had Morley’s from.

Really nice food here and the price is reasonable, Out of the area this is one of the better chicken shops only down fall never enough bbq wings cooked but that's down to the college kids coming from the local college.

Food was lovely, male staff were v welcoming and accommodating. Two female waitresses were extremely rude, walking off whilst ordering drinks without acknowledgement, we had to ask again to make sure the drinks were ordered. They slammed glasses on the table and were very dismissive.

Where do I start I wanted something to eat so I thought I’d try this place out I saw the halal sign on the window thought I’d ask if it is 100% halal so I asked the fella on the counter where is your halal certificate he then told me he lost it but it’s halal I go it doesn’t work like that your halal certificate must be displayed at all times then he manages to pull out a halal certificate but I check the expiration date and the certification expired on 2019 I just walked out so for the brothers and sister this place is not halal!

I used to give this place five stars but now only one the food has gone downhill so has a customer service

I was going to be nice but sometimes it’s good, to be honest. I have tried this Morley’s 2 times today making it my second. The first time I tried it, it didn’t taste like the ones you get in south London, I usually get Morley’s from Plumstead though this one is right across the road to me. I thought I’ll try it again, but I was right. The food is terrible. Dry chips that were refried and the chicken, why so much coat all I’m eating is the fried batter. The customer service is trash, and the food is also trash. I don’t know why their staff are so unresponsive when a simple question is asked. Please take lessons from your other stores. Guys don’t waste your time and money here, Dixy’s is a 2 minute walk.

The people working at the moleys in Dagenham are useless. They will sell you 6 wings meal with no drumsticks for kids. After several complains they keep selling with no drumsticks. I bet they hoarding the drumsticks for special customers or their families.

The customer service is terrible. I ordered a combo meal my wings were missing and food was cold. When I called them up to explain this they put the phone down on me. I had to call another 7 times till they answered for them to tell me that I am lying about the missing wings. They then told me I had to travel to them to collect the missing items even though I have already paid £2.50 for delivery. I think this is totally unacceptable and would not recommend this Morley’s. I have been to other Morley’s and they have been great. But Dagenham Morley’s I will never order from them again. If it was possible to give them 0 stars I would of done that.

South London Morleys are much better. The burger was dry and chips undercooked. Chicken had no flavour only saving grace was the bbq wings.

Went in yesterday to get some food in the afternoon . I always thought Morley was one of the best. Me and the kids ended up vomiting all night long. Even a day after we are still far from alright.

Fam, you may as well go to South London to get the real deal. Chicken was tasty last year but not no more. Wings are alright though. Edit: they're back to their former glory.

So so slow! Staff aren't very friendly neither to be honest. Not keen on going back there for those reasons

South London Morley's are much better. Presentation of the shop, presentation of the food and quality of service. East London, it looks like Morley's but tast like your below average chicken shop.

Not much to say here. Went there. Got some wings. Disappointed. Had what I could shut the rest went in the bin. I had gone to another branch a few days ago and it was decent. This branch was closer. But disappointing.

Buns so stale they crumbled away put dead lettice and burger sauce on kids burgers (I ordered plain cheese burgers ) chicken was like jelly pale and the batter fell off with the nasty skin, chips were old and soggy, wings where old and rock hard. Disappointed worst Morleys I have ever eaten stick to the South London branches people 😢

Stingy place don't even give 1 free sauce for any of our burger meals

Had the chicken and ribs combo meal, for the price you can't complain, chicken was tasty and meaty, wings were the same, ribs were ok, a couple were fatty, but that's just ribs all over.

Good wings, but a shame they are proper stingy with sauce tubs..... Charging 40p for the world's smallest amount of sauce. The other branches don't even charge.

Chicken is nice but burgers are bland and fries not nice.

Nice food & service. The hot wings are really tasty. Chip portion sizes with the meal could be bigger but otherwise food is good!

Really disappointed. There was hair in 2 of our burger meals about an 1nch long. Our order notes were not read as we requested a drumstick and not breast. I order tomato ketchup and was charged 30p and did not even receive it and, the hot wings had no spice to them at all. When trying to call I couldn't not get through

I stayed at the Romford Travellodge, very clean and reasonable price, The room is nice, very cosy, just wished they had a portable fridge, the Romford branch you have to pay for the car park, apparently they give you a discount, when using the car park, so whst happen to my discount.

Takeaway is clean and tidy, the guy serving is scruffy and has memory problems and the service is very very slow even though they only had 3 customers. Food is ok.

Their wings were perfection it had the perfect crunch and texture along with a flavoursome taste. However, they lied to me over three times over the phone on when they would start doing deliveries. Very unprofessional 👎
