If you’re looking for a nice Afghani Restaurant in East london than this is the place to be. Their tikka kebab on afghan naan bread is amazing. Not to forget mentioning their kabuli palaw. The host is kind and humble and you can sense his welcoming warmth from a distance. The kebab presentation needs a little work but otherwise great food.

Unhygienic place. Always find hair in food. Very slow. Very small amount. Lamb shank was disgusting and smelly, did not even give on bone. Just few meat pieces covered in onions. This place has gone down. Food has become tasteless and not fresh smelling.

Food is nice Afghan & Persian cousin and freshly made mostly. Staff are friendly and approachable. They have nice place for parties that can be booked in advance. Reasonable prices. Parking can be a problem as there is no pay parking around and it’s quite a busy area.

Never disappoints!!! Best mixed grill and Afghani good. Kabuli Pilau is fluffy and delicious- the lamb just falls off the bone. Mixed grill - the lamb kebab is so succulent and flavourful along with the chicken sheesh All the oils drool on the naan making it sooo delicious!!! An absolute must visit if you are craving meat!

Best place for Amazing authentic Persian/ Afghani Food, tried their Chelo Kebab and Afghani Pulao, so tasty and dainty. Nice dining place, spacious and serene with hospitable staff.

We went out today to enjoy a lunch with some of my friends, we had one friend that is heavily pregnant and we had few children under the age of 4. There was 7 of us in total and as soon as we entered, the man in charge gave us a unpleasant look. We went to sit on a 8 seater table but the man very rudely told us we couldn't sit there and told us we had to sit on a 6 seater table which didn't make sense. He said he will add a table however the table was small and at the end of the table they have a round alert thing which couldn't be removed and when we question how someone at the end of the table can place their plate there couldn't respond and than acted like we were a nausance and said we can sit on the 8 seater table, this is after him declining us sitting there a few times. There was no other customers there so we couldn't understand who he was reserving the tables for. When we challenged him instead of apologising he didn't seem bothered that we won't be eating here. We were regular customers there and it's such a shame seeing children and a heavily pregnant woman he couldn't make basi adjustments by offering us a bigger table. I would not be going there again.

We had the most awful experience today, the person in charge was extremely rude and unpleasant. There was 7 of us in total including a heavily pregnant women and toddlers. We were made to sit on a small 6 seater table and was offered an additional chair end of a narrow table. When we requested for a bigger take, he refused to move us stating he will not give us an 8 seater table when there was 7 of us, yet he was happy for us to be squeeze into a 6 seater table. The whole restaurant was empty with lots of table available but he was being so rude. We ended up leaving, the fact he had no compassion us being women with children. He wouldn’t even apologise for his behaviour and argued back. I would not be going there again and the worst is that some of my friends are actually regulars there but the way he treated us like we were nothing was disgusting. Rude man with an ugly attitude.

Everything was very disgusting and not worth the price

After waiting for over two hours for our food to arrive, we were appalled to find that the soup smelled like it was old and possibly spoiled. Concerned for our health, we had to throw away half of our order. When we called the restaurant to address the issue, the person on the other end rudely hung up on us, promising to call back but never did. I strongly advise against ordering from this place unless you want to risk getting sick and wasting your money.

Nice atmosphere in the Shisha place upstairs. Staff take care of you and are attentive. Nice Moroccan/arab decor upstairs. Cash only shisha though. ATM available at Loyds bank near Barking station. Prayer facility also available alhamdulillah

I had a really disappointing experience with my recent food order. Despite living just a 10-minute drive from the restaurant, my order arrived a staggering 2 hours late. I had to call three times to inquire about its status. When it finally arrived, I was shocked to find a hair in the salad, the lentil soup was expired and had a terrible odor, rendering it inedible, and the bread was stale. I was left feeling both disappointed and hungry. I immediately called to report the dangerous situation of serving expired soup and requested a partial refund, which I was promised but have yet to receive.

This was my Second time I have been in this restaurant after long time, the food was small portion and the service was not good at all.

I recently visited Ariana Restaurant, and I was really impressed.I ordered their Qabuli Pilow and The meat was very tender, and the rice was full of flavour But what really made my day was the staff especially Shafii. He was on top of everything, making sure I had everything I needed without being overbearing. He knew his stuff and helped me pick the perfect meal.Ariana Restaurant is a perfect restaurant to go with your friends and family . Great food, good vibes, and Shafii's top-notch service. Definitely will be back for more

Place was empty, waiter came across like it was an imposition we were in there. Construction in progress so dust, water leaks etc. Atmosphere terrible. My food however was very nice although take your own red chilli sauce as for some reason they dont provide it! Not sure if the nice food is reason enough to go back, are they actually a restaurant at all???

Seriously this place looks amazing from outside but they served us old food and menu price was different and service charges was apply to my order which was £8 and worst customer service ever I had and I refuse to pay service charges but the manager was getting aggressive and abusive I wish I could give zero star not will never recommend this place to anyone you will definitely regret visiting this place again

Good food quality and delicious 😋

The food at Ariana’s was lovely. Thank to the waitress who served my family and I the other day. She made sure to ask if the food was okay and see if we needed anything. My kids were comfortable and the atmosphere was nice. The Resturant was clean and had a relaxing vibe. I would highly recommend going there with family or friends as the staff was very polite and welcome making sure the food was served hot ready to eat.

I have tried almost all Persian dishes, but this place really deserves a five-star for their expertise in kobida kebab, lamb chops, and jooja kebab. They are experienced and expert in most of the Persian and Afghani dishes. Perfectly marinated and well-cooked kebabs. I highly recommend their mixed grills and Afghani Qbuli Palaw. I really liked the green space they have on the first floor. Their is a beautiful spot for smoking shisha and relaxing in the green yard. There is plenty of space for big gathering and parties with friends. I went there with a few friends and had a great time. They regularly came and checked to make sure everything is OK and refreshed the shsisha. Professional and friendly behaviour and nice atmosphere. I had a good time with my friends. I would definitely go again and enjoy their Persian dishes.

Very unprofessional people, there is no team work there. Partners are not aware of the orders or the events that has been taken by the other partner. You go to your party and nothing is ready because they forgot to check the calendars. They have different prices according to where your coming from. Food is tasty but who wants to pay only for food when you don't get the service properly. The service is disgusting and the workers and owners are (doz). I Don't know how they can go home and sleep peacefully when knowing you have taking people’s money but didn’t give them the service you promised. Don’t ruïne your day and party by booking it with them.

We had a party there last night it was awfull experience and will never come bacak. The food came 2 hours late. They didnt give us are our drinks they didnt give knife and fork. The restaurant was just pathetic. We gave so much money for nothing and some stuipid looks from the chefs. İ strongly advice everyone to stay away from this place because you will lrave hungry and cursed in theyre language.

Excellent food. My favorite or at least in my top 5 is Afghan food…. Sadly a friends mom makes the best Afghan food on the planet… that said …. Ariana is a respectable contender 😂🤣😂

They gave me wrong item, I ordered Ice cream they send me faloodah which was ice in a tub looked like it was frozen for months and months.When I rang the restaurant the person who answered phone try to make out i ordered wrong item, and starting explaining that this was the item i had ordered, I said if that was the case why did u ask me to write which flavour ice cream i wanted in notes which i did.😏

I honestly don’t know where to start from, the broken glass piece in my rice or the broken sockets. The floor was slippery and oily had to ask 5 different members of staff to clean it. There’s was more flies than my family member in the party hall room. Lights in the ceiling were flickering. One advice for the next people that come or hire the place is to bring you own flashlights and power banks. Sink is broken. Random strangers using our toilet?? Nktheplu

I want to share my idea about Ariana restaurant. Today I bought a qabeli and soup and I exited about that because it’s change too much last time I ate like one year ago but now the qabeli is changed too much , honestly it’s not qabeli they have to put the name of beruani for that because it’s look like beruani like a Pakistani food and about soup it’s not have a any taste I can say it’s not soup it’s water it’s disgusting and a full of shame. I don’t know why it’s changed too much but it’s disgusting and definitely I’m not gonna try again and I want to say for others don’t spend your time and don’t waste your money in here.

The dishes were good. Some of the deserts were not available at the time we visited. The portions are comparably smaller for their price. One of the few Halal restaurants in the Barking neighbourhood.

Worst Farsi / Persian restaurant I've eaten at. Eat here at your peril.

The place was empty and dead, literally. I thought maybe it's because of the week day that no one is there but after having food, I understood why it was always empty. Every time I'd pass by and the place was empty, because of its not-so-friendly staff, and the food. The staff has no idea about the menu and If you ask them a question about food they would refer you to "please speak with the chef but not me". 😂 The food is worst in quality and quantity. In short, again, if you decide to have dinner here, better give that money to charity or get a fried chicken and chips from else where but don't waste money here. Your hard earned money doesn't worth to be wasted on a place like this.

They serve tasty food without a miss along with good customer service.

We order from here many times, but the service become awful, delivery time is about 1 hr and 40 min, which means the food is aways cold and bread becomes soggy. So the food is no longer warm or fresh, after sitting in a container for an hour. I'm afraid I will have to try other afghan restaurants going forward.

I have ordered first time mixed grill plater cost me 30 pounds got big container rice 2 Lamb chop 2 shish kebab few wings and some chicken pieces not worth of money and test never order aging.

Food was nice, desert have options but most finished when we were there. Place needs a little upgrade. Staff very nice and friendly...

Best afghani polaw and chapli kabab

Food was ok, very quiet for a friday night. Not the best atmosphere for a dining evening. Food was ok, bland and not much taste to it. The fresh pomegranate juice not so great, tangy. The drinks, were tiny. 200ml coke for £3? Not even a can size.

Good food and service. The lounge upstairs is alright too.

Great restaurant. Recommend the Kashk Badenjan for a starter and any of the pilao - always beautifully fragranced rice. They also allow BYOB - so you can enjoy persian food with a bottle of shiraz ;)

20 Minuten, bei komplett leeren Restaurant, auf Kellner gewartet um essen zu bestellen….Letztendlich, bin in der Küche und habe mein Essen direkt bei Koch bestellt. Irgendwann ist der Keller gekommen um zu fragen ob ich was bestellen möchte. In diesem Moment, war bereits mein Essen fertig… Das Essen, war sehr gut. Bedienung allerdings, SEHR miserabel!!! Oben befindet sich auch Shisha, die nett orientalisch eingerichtetet ist

Hmm...used to be nice. The grill was nice but the kabuli pilao was bit kabuli pilao.

I visited this restaurant 2 hours before. My horrible experience bound me to write something. They don't have proper menu, bad customer service, high price, every single member of the restaurant is liar. The quantity of the food doesn't mach with the menu. For example They offered 4 pieces lamb chops but gives 2 pieces. Overall, this restaurant is not maintain a minimum quality. Suggest all customer avoid this restaurant if you don't feel embarrassing in front of friend's or family.

I really don’t want to have to leave a negative review as we’re frequent takeaway customers and love the food from Ariana’s but it was not only unacceptably late tonight but the restaurant staff on the phone lied about it being on the way when it wasn’t, were generally rude, and then hung up on another phone call request for compensation based on it taking 1h40 to arrive. I understand they were busy and the staff said as much but when I rang to ask where it was after an hour, I was told it was on its way. It’s a 10 minute journey so when it hadn’t arrived after 20 minutes I called back and was told it was still on its way and traffic was bad and that I needed to understand how stressed she was and how busy the restaurant was. According to Google maps traffic was fine. And the just eat app wasn’t showing as being on its way either. 10 mins later, the app updated to say the food was on its way so I called to ask for money back for the delay. This was when the person told me it had been in transit the whole time then hung up on me. The driver arrived ten minutes later and said there was no traffic, the restaurant was just busy. I really didn’t appreciate being lied to about where the food was and being told a sob story. They don’t know the customer’s circumstances and not having accurate info meant we were just stuck waiting, couldn’t cancel the order, couldn’t order an alternative. My friend missed her train as we were stuck waiting so long. All that needed to happen with my first phone call was to admit they were busy and had forgotten the order then to have been given an opportunity to cancel and perhaps offered some compensation. Then I wouldn’t be leaving this review. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time food has been insanely late from this restaurant so just being busy one night isn’t a good excuse. If they can’t cope, they need more staff and they certainly need customer service training. I won’t be ordering from Ariana’s again and this is a huge shame as we love the food.

Ordered food from here and honestly so disappointed with the service. They took THREE HOURS to deliver the food and then sent it to the wrong address. When the driver was called they did not answer, when the restaurant was called they began to argue saying the fault was mine andthe lady was not apologetic she was rude to me instead. I've never been treated this way by someone whose business I am supporting. Very very upset with this as I was a loyal customer but I will never return after today . DON'T GO HERE

Went to this restaurant and the food was great. Really good flavour chicken and lamb. Salad is nice too. What I loved the most is the ice cream. It's my new favourite flavour. Can't wait to go back!

Testy food great customer service my family favourite restaurant

Horrible distasteful food. First we ordered 1 kg of lamb karahi but was served less than half kilo. When we raised this issue, the waitress did not respond. Secondly they don't know to cook karahi or Qabuli Palau. It's not Karahi, rather simple lamb curry and just throwing lots of raisin and boiled carrot and one boiled lamb shank does not make it Qabuli Palau. Worse food...big rip off
