Best Fish Bar in Barking and Dagenham

Ordered large cod and chips and when I got home the portion size of the chips were really small not what you would expect from a large- the fish looked nice and big but it was only half fish the tail end which made about 40% of the size up had no fish in there at all pure thick greasy batter was well disappointed. So I basically paid for large and got a small. Your better of ordering small cod and chips- and paying less

When I called the restaurant, I was informed that the driver had brought the incorrect order and that I should speak with him. However, when I called the driver, he did not pick up, so I am left with food that I do not eat. Won’t be ording again.

shame you can't order the chips separately as it's too much

The food was horrible, literally wasted money, whoever made the burger I ordered was fed up of working. I couldn’t even pick it up let alone eat it

Lamb shish was not worth it just small bits of dry lamb not even a handful for £9. Saveloy was also dry and tasted like was sitting there for ages. Kebab tasted weird not like it should

£8.50 for a chicken burger meal and it’s a processed chicken nugget very poor quality of food

Just popped in for chips, they were nice & crispy but unfortunately quite a lot had horrible black bits. If they can improve the quality control then I might've given 5 stars. The bloke serving was very friendly and didn't have to wait long for the chips.

Driver was walking around looking lost with the food bag open, had to read heat our food, also didn't seem to know how to use a lift!!

Fish and chips were nice, the portion size was good and would order that again. However, the kebab wasn’t nice. Chicken shish was ok but not enjoyable, the kofte was inedible and hard and the salad didn’t seem fresh.

Fish was okay however chips were defo reheated in old oil, very bad taste

Absolutely Terrible today . How you can give people uncooked food is disgusting. The saveloys were undercooked like mush with horrible smell . Went straight into the bin. Now I will be ordering from somewhere else from now on .

Watched the driver leave store and what a run around he did. Came down towards my street turned around and headed back. Then turned around again. Not hot like it used to be when driver came straight down whalebone instead of going around vslence ave. Last time. Thats twice. Will find a diff store now.

I tried Best Fish Bar for the first time today by ordering a Chicken Shish & Lamb Doner and I have to say I'm really impressed. The meat was juicy and full of flavour and the veg fresh and crunchy. The price is also very reasonable for how much food you get. Highly recommended, will definitely order again in the future :)

I dont understand why they don’t have a contact number? Even when i googled i couldnt find anything? I accidentally selected collection but couldnt get through to the restaurant OR JustEat to cancel. So now my moneys gone and im hungry.

Watched driver leave store and go around Dagenham before coming here. Timd kept changing. Asked driver if I was only deliverly he said yes. Then why go all aound Dagenham. We are a straight drive down the heathway? Made meal cool and had to warm up. This has never happened before.

Ordered curry sauce but they didn’t put the lid on properly so all the sauce was all over the wrapping. When I said to delivery driver he just said contact just eat. Won’t be using them again.

The food and the staff were excellent, I can not fault them at all they were brilliant.

It was less than 5 minutes was on a peddle bike and took a strange route.

Large donner and sausage , £11.50 , delivered from dagenham to romford ….And it was early … can’t get better then that . And food is top notch .

Lovely food as normal however tried their large and was disappointed as it is exactly the same size as a medium and yet they charge more for it.

The diner wrap was massive and lovely, all the food was lovely and hot, definitely the best chip shop around.

Food and delivery were good only downside was that I order 2 scampi and chips and got 1. No refund.

Chicken kebabs was amazing the fish was my favorite all the food was delicious and hot, never used these before but will be using them from now on, very big portions.

Food was piping hot absolutely delicious portion size was more than reasonable for the price will definitely purchase from here again i may of just found my new local legend.

Usually the food is really nice and the fish and chips were this time as well However, I ordered a lamb sheish and was very disappointed. The lamb was thin, burnt and chewy and tasted more like overcooked rump steak. Will be sticking to just fish and chips from now on.
