Miserable female Staff member! Customers on top of one another and tables not spaced at all! No Staff member wearing masks! Food okay, but very expensive for a small,Town Centre fish & chip shop. First and last time I’ll go there when I’m in the area again.

If you’re visiting Aberdare and are peckish, you must sample the food at Morgan’s Fish Bar! The cafe is decorated to a high standard and is exceptionally clean. Friendly staff await you and some excellent food. Johnathan always goes above and beyond to ensure a high quality service!

I tried this place just now because my friend said it’s the best in town and it definitely is. Nobody ever believes how much vinegar I actually want on my chips but he really wanted to get it right and it was perfect 😁 it’s lovely that they want to serve really good food, it shows.

Visited with my grandfather, great service, well-mannered and polite staff and food was excellent! Will be back soon.

Visit this cafe regularly for set in and take out. Always great food at great prices. Many regular visitors which speaks volume for the food quality and customer service.

About a year ago in 2019 I visited Morgan Fish Bar and was so impressed with the quality of the food that a short time after I took my wife and we both had a delicious Cod and chips meal. 5 stars at that time. So delicious in fact that although we did not live in Aberdare we both vowed to return again. This week, September 2020 we did and what a disappointment. We ordered Cod and chips again which was freshly cooked for us, no problem there. But when it arrived, oh dear, the chips were heavy with fat, visible on the chips and fish. The chips were soggy and although the quantity was fine, they were so soggy and wet as to be almost uneatable. The food came not on china plates, as customers near-bye had, but in cardboard take-away boxes, which they too soon became soggy with grease. My wife could not eat the chips but did manage the fish however. The proprietor I have to say was very friendly but unfortunately that did not make up for the dreadful meal. I gave one star because at least the food was hot.

Awful greasy over cooked chips and the sausage and batter was so hard I am sure they been there over night they was so stale . And way over priced don't waste your time or money on this awful place

Had homemade steak pie chips and gravy. Pastry was chewy, inside of pie was all mushy. Chips were dry and tasteless. Tea was weak. It cost just under £10 for the two meals which was a complete waste of money. The only nice thing was the gravy. Wont be eating there again.

Over cooked chips in fact more like burnt. Sausage in batter dreadful. Will not be going here again.

Me and my partner took a walk down to the shop from where we live food was horrible not even fit for a dog to eat. Sausage and battery was burnt and way over cooked couldn't even get a fork in it. Rissol was over done. And nearly 10 pound for two trays of food that was non eat able.... definitely won't be going here again.

Lovely real home cooked chips, yummmy, gravy was really nice as well, jumbo sausage perfect. Would recommend and return. Staff friendly and polite. Keep up the good work guys.

I've been eating at giavannis for the last 9 years I've even worked there just been in for food been served by someone with blue hair and about 16 food was awful sausage was pink chips were burnt won't be going there again
