A tad on the expensive side and my dad didn't like the fact that they don't have anything on draft. Good atmosphere though with a guy playing a piano in the corner.

One of the near locals, James from the French Weir posse, was singing a beautiful song to himself in the pub next to the piano and somehow or other we had an impromptu (to quote Rudy) session which was a thing of great beauty. What a good craic. Nice vibe. Had a nice bottle of red,(Merlot) for £15.50. Good sing song, great conversation and some good, old fashioned fun. Thanks everyone, but especially to James. We had a brilliant evening.

A small one room bar however not really a pub in the traditional understanding of the word. They have no draught beers, ales or cider; everything comes out of bottles, so you end paying £4.50 for a 1/2 litre bottle of beer. Also, only open at weekends.

No idea what I drank... Was bright blue, had sparkles in it and it tasted lush!

I would like to thank Moonshine staff for the great reception and service on my retirement drinks. It’s a beautiful venue with a great atmosphere, great selection of drinks and cocktails. Definitely worth a visit. Everyone that came thought it was a great place ❤️❤️

What lovely and friendly venue, great decor inside with a superb garden area. The owners couldn’t have done any more for us - so accommodating and will be back again soon. Cheers guys 🍻

What a super little place, Joe and Sue are such a lovely couple who can’t do enough for their customers, beautifully decorated, bottled bar with something for everyone, I will definitely be visiting again next time I’m in Taunton, we’ll done guys 👍👍👍👍

Fantastic bar with brilliant hosts Sue and Joe have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well looked after. We all had a amazing time, 2nd year on the bounce with no disappointment!! Excellent venue for private hire or just a socialable drink...we all wished we lived closer to make this our local!

I have been to the Moonshine Bar in Taunton a couple of times already. Hope for at least two more visits before Christmas, but I will be back again, hopefully for New Year's Eve. I love Moonshine: The staff are lovely and friendly, the atmosphere is terrific and it's my favourite place to be in Taunton. They have a great selection of alcohol too! It's the new place to be!

Moonshine what a place this pub was one of the best in town . It has a smooth sassy but sophisticated decour which really makes u filll at home and some outstandingly delicious cider variety I loved it there !!
