High quality dessert. One of the oldest and original on Wilmslow road.

Warm and friendly place. Great ices and a range of desserts. Enjoy the food and watch the world go by. Falooda is my favourite, ice cream with vermicelli and rose syrup. I was served by Ballvi, who was very helpful and friendly.

The cafe is quite cozy and the service was really good.I ordered the lotus Biscoff crepe, It was absolutely delicious! I loved it.

Beautiful place with so much delicious deserts/ice creams to choose from as well as milkshakes and hot drinks. The indoor swing is so cute for children to have the photos taken and they have a upstairs eating area too.

I had an overall great dining experience at the Moonlight restaurant. The chocolate brownie and Belgian waffles were really delicious, and I loved them! Very efficient and friendly staff. They gave my order without any delay. I'm hoping to come back and try more desserts.

The brownies and the milkshakes here are to die for. They are totally worth the price and the customer service is excellent and the staff are friendly and nice.

Waffles and customer service was very good

Abysmal customer service. Lady at the counter heard the order wrong, another lady brought the order to the table, when I explained that we asked for the ice cream on cones, she in a very passive aggressive way, said receipt said in a tub, I responded with explaining I understand that, but we asked on cones, they lady who took the order must have misheard. She (again rudely) explained that she took the order, she hadn't... I then had to go to the counter to get a cone, which she charged me for, didn't offer to replace the whole thing or even put the ice cream in the cone, I had to ask for a spoon. I normally avoid negative reviews, and I know the whole thing is minor, and most places would apologise for the mistake and amend the order, but it was just the general attitude from the girls was shocking and rude. Just poor customer service.

Marwaan and Jabr were our incredible servers at moonlight during Eid. They made such delicious mango faloodas and were quick and efficient in their service. Thank you to both!

Everything about this place is cheap yet overiced. It used to be the best in 2016-2020 but ever since they’ve gotten more popular, theyve increased prices and ruined the quality.

£9 for a waffle that wasn’t even warm. It was also drenched in cheap chocolate sauce. Other dessert places are much better on wilmslow road. The waffle comes with ice cream - I asked for a specific ice cream and was told that only vanilla was provided and that I would have to pay an additional £2.50 for a different ice cream.

It was a nice experience i enjoyed the cake so much. The staff Ansy was so nice and smiley.

The place is quiet and elegant, and the staff are friendly, especially the staff, Marwan, who is very classy and has the highest morals.

A great dessert place. Used to be only one back in the day (only one to sell bubblegum icecream!!) and it has maintained it's reputation for years. Nice to see it expand and still running very well after I returned back to Manchester after nearly 15 years!

Good seating areas, upstairs and downstairs. Was quite busy on a sunday night with a small area to queue so people ended up blocking space to walk past. Brownie cookie dough was a bit disappointing, tiny piece of brownie in the centre, but it tasted good so it doesn't matter too much. Wide range of ice creams, and reasonable prices. Overall Very good experience.

The cookie dough and waffles were amazing and soft. Very generous portions and loaded toppings. Fast service, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated inside. Loved the atmosphere and vibe, will definitely visit again! 👍

Visited midweek, expecting it to be less busy but the queue was still quite long. Taste was exceptional as usual.

I haven't received my order but on the system it says its delivered and it's the wrong address !!! I haven't received anything ! Someone took my food that i paid for or its the driver that was delivering it!!! You have ruined my evening! Refund me

Ice cream is still one of the best places in Manchester. But service is very slow. But does offer very good value at £6 for 3 scoops eat in price

Poor service, long queues, ice creams melting in tubs, ice creams all mixed with each other as they drip when being taken out. Prioritising delivery orders over customers standing in front of them. Less staff. Just avoid.

Place use to be better, i gave 4 star in past but now its a 0, 30 minutes wait time,.staff moves super slow and what shock me when I saw a staff member, cleaning work area with a dirty clothes and grabbed a slice of cake with same hand no gloves and placed in box. Shocked me how the handle food and hygiene. It was my last visit to moonlight l.

I remember when moonlight used to be a corner shop and then moved over to next door enlarging space which is very accommodating including the decor, i must say the service and desserts are great. I love the falooda from there, pure addiction! I sound a bit exciting but do give it a try. Not only this but their entire menu is delicious - top notch! The staff have many years of experience in making your desserts taste great!

The deserts are good, no doubt. I go for the chocolate cake (warmed up) with raspberry ripple ice cream. A winner combo. On the down side, this place is not the cheapest, prices are high & have increased recently even further. The wait is very long at times, i sometimes find myself looking for alternatives where I can park the car & be served quicker. Last last visit here last week, we came in as a family, sat down for 2 minutes then walked out again to heavenly deserts , as it was so cold in here. The owners are being very stingy with the heating !!

Came for the first time and had delicious ice cream served by lovely Pallvi who was very friendly.

Don’t badger customers for reviews. Incredibly inappropriate to demand a customer give a review and then stand over the table until it is complete. A really nice experience ruined.

I ordered cookie dough. It had a weird taste. I really do not recommend it. The waffle is ok. The service is not good. The table was not clean and I had to wait at the till for almost 10 minutes to order where there was no one a head of me.
