Moon Garden in South Lanarkshire

Ordered online. Stated 45 mins delivery and it showed up after 1 HR 40 mins. Not good enough with no explanation or advance warning. Got chicken satay and banana fritters. Chicken satay saturated with onions! I mean I like onions but not overloaded like it was. Would have been nice to have something other than onion like other takeaways do and a bit more sauce. Banana fritters came in the syrup so very soggy! Others give you a separate tub of syrup which works much better. Overall wouldn't order again **update half way through found a long hair in meal! Not mine!

Paid for my meal online only for driver to come try and charge me and then walk away with my meal after I paid it's all on cctv shop has not replied back after sending them videos in via email next step is the papers and local mp about this I've paid for a meal never got it 😡😡 delivery driver only wanted more cash never ordering from here again as shop has inmgnored me not long untilvideos is all over on line and in newspapers of this robbing driving it's all on cctv him walking away with my meal trying to charge cash on receipt is said paid i paid by my card so why did I not get meal driver should be sacked

Traditional Scottish Chinese, what you'd expect. Never had a complaint personally apart from delivery times can sometimes be a nightmare. I'm in ashgill though so it's understandable

I placed an order online. I asked in the special instructions for no vegetables in my meal. The meal arrived and the meal I ordered a chicken foo young had onions in it which I had specifically asked not to be added. On calling the restaurant I was informed that they would send a new meal to then be called back 2 minutes later to tell me that they had not made the mistake and they would not be sending a new meal. I believe that this is a case of very poor customer service. Don't think I will order from this restaurant again.

Took 3 hours to arrive and didn’t offer any form of compensation and the food came stone cold all went in the bin. Such a shame as I literally order so much from them but will not be back

Gave my boyfriend food poisoning, was the only thing that he ate all day and he felt sick right after eating it. Was up the whole night vomiting with a headache.

Won't be back Gone right downhill. Used to be the best Chinese in larkhall but lately food is turning up barely warm. Last time I waited an hour and a half for my food only for it to arrive pretty much cold. I called to complain only to be lied to and told it was just fresh out the door (without asking any details of who I was or what my order was). They even said it was dead quiet that night - so why did I wait an hour and a half!? Took so much grief for them to fix it that I'll never order from them again.

In my opinion, this is the best Chinese food in this and surrounding area. The portions are good and at affordable prices. The staff are friendly and the seating waiting area is comfortable and spotless. I've tried several meals and starters and every one has been excellent.

This was the first-time I have used Moon Garden and pretty impressed with our food. Tasty , nice sized portions and we even got some free spring rolls.

Shocking customer service from this establishment. Use them on a regular basis and the quality is good, but states on menu close at 11, call at 10,15 and just rings out, called every 5 mins just rings out. Why not put a message stating we cannot cope with deliveries and cannot take anymore orders. No just let your regular customers keep trying to call you. ? Why

Food is good, tasty enough but the waiting room to collect/order it is Freezing... This is takeaway, not a dine-in place.

Took full order back as it was all overcooked to a crisp. Wont be back

Terrible experience with this dreadful place. I have ordered take away many times from moon garden and used to be my favourite take away in larkhall. Lately the quality has decreased. The last time I ordered items were missing from my order. My curry source. I called them to explain, I was very happy for them to resolve the issue. The female i spoke to insisted that she had poured curry source over my rice. When I told her this had clearly not happened, she pretended that she could not hear me then put the phone down. I even emailed them a picture. They are happy to take your money up front, and then fail to provide you with what you paid for. My tastless dry food went in the bin.Dont trust these people!

I never used to like this place, but that was more to do with the people running it and the way they treated their staff, but that aside the food is excellent and the deliveries usually very prompt, so you are guaranteed warm food.

Had a very good experience with them. Ordered on phone and got complimentary spring rolls based on spend. The food was delivered on time - good portion, tasty and well enjoyed. I would have given 5* if they accepted card payment. It is by far better than other Chinese takeaways we've tried in Larkhall. I'll be returning
