Mooboo in Wycombe

My friend recommended me this place and I gotta say the drink itself was great. But the customer service is lacking. I got served by some rude young looking bloke. It was my first time there so I didn't know that there's a whole process for ordering the drink with picking ice and all that. When I ordered I said my drink and which bubbles I wanted but the guy kept interrupting me about different stuff. I mean I get that there's this process and that's chill. All I'm saying it he didn't have to be rude with the tone and all when getting my order.

Visited today after walking by a number of times in the past, always saw a long queue outside and presumed that this was to reflect the popularity of the products and supply not being able to keep up with demand... Now I know why that queue is so long. Watching the (clearly stressed) staff getting in each other's way and struggling to keep on top of orders through the perspex window was both kinda embarrassing and anxiety-inducing. We were only waiting for a single milk bubble tea, and this took approximately 30 minutes. Other customers were visibly annoyed as well, and it was apparent that UberEats orders were prioritised over those of customers standing to watch this farce unfold before their very eyes. Honestly? If it wasn't for the fact that my daughter really wanted the drink I would've requested a refund and walked after 10-15 minutes. She said the drink was great, however after paying best part of a fiver for a half an hour wait, it's difficult to enjoy something as one would like. I would cordially suggest that training to increase efficiency and productivity is required, otherwise that queue outside ain't never gonna end. I won't be back.

First time trying bubble tea, asked the cashier to make me a random one. Ended up with a peach and mango iced drink with strawberry jelly. Loved it :) thanks so much!

Finally have a bubble tea spot in High Wycombe. So many choices! It’s really good and very popular. I love the taro milk tea with tapioca and passion fruit or lychee

My grandson wanted me to buy a drink here - a very long drinks menu with a bewildering amount of choices even when you've decided on a type and flavour of drink - how sweet (by percentage), how much ice etc and what flavour of beads you want! My grandson had a milk raspberry tea with 50% sweetness. I tried it and it wasn't to my taste. I chose passion fruit and mango with zero sweetness and passion fruit beads. I really wish I'd gone for passion fruit alone, it might have been ok, but even with zero sugar it was revoltingly sweet. The beads, when sucked up through the oversized straw, could easily get stuck in your throat I felt, and although they tasted reasonably nice, I didn't like suddenly finding a squashy bead in my mouth. Not for me at all, but kids would enjoy it. I wouldn't give it to a young child with the beads in it though.
