Friendly and efficient service and reasonable prices. But food not quite as tasty as our usual haunts. It’s just a bit blander. That applies to our korma and biryani. Been twice to make sure so not a one off.

Excellent is the word that summarises Monty's. A small establishment, but beautifully formed. The staff are young but very efficient and the food was perfect. We ordered the Christmas dinner and although the menu lacked Turkey it was well presented and cooked . Absolutely no complaints. We will be returning.

Montys is an insitution in South Ealing with a well deserved reputation for fine flavorful Indian cuisine... Unfortunately during my last visit i noticed slight changes in flavor and quantity of food offered I ordered mixed grill , King Prawn bhuna , Chicken curry...extra hot..and prawn puri... Chicken curry was NOT hot and not much flavor and portions were certainly less than last year King prawn was NOT done in bhuna style and lacked strong flavors and quantity was poor. Service is still good but food is becoming just like any other standard curry house..nothing special as it used to be...

Monty’s never disappoints. Food is excellent and value for this outstanding food is also excellent. Service is beyond reproach . Treat yourself to a great Nepalese meal in Monty’s. You will not regret it

I have been using this restaurant for nearly thirty years No frills but the food is fantastic and always has been.

I've eaten here quite a few times and everytime the same food tastes different, sometimes its lovely sometimes it's awful to the point I wont eat here again.

After having to walk out of another local Indian we went back to our trusted Monty's and had excellent service and great food. Monty's is a well priced restaurant and the staff are great

I absolutely love the food here. I’ve eaten in a few times and the atmosphere is friendly and nice. I’ve had more takeaways from this place than I can count - I seriously love it. The onion bahjis are a firm favourite as is the garlic naan. I’m trying to work my way through the menu here to find the ultimate curry takeaway and am enjoying it thoroughly. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and overall the service is great.

Very reasonable prices. Two people plus nice bottle of red wine for £40! Decor simple but it works. Nice menu. Good friendly service. The food was really enjoyable. Good vegetarian options. Strongly Recommended.

And actually : it is not far away ! either because it isn't sooo different or it is easier to sell to us ignorant clients some Indian food we think to know (another BS , huge country, hundreds of different cuisines). The food was excellent as the Nepal beer , the service friendly and quick .

I've been to Monty's and had their takeaway a few times now, and it just gets better each time. Fresh, delicious Nepalese and Indian food - especially those on the Chef's Specials. Very reasonable prices too - highly recommend this place.

A very pleasant evening meal, the food was fresh and very tasty! We started with the chicken Momo, the main dish was one of the Nepalese dishes recommended by the waiter. It is good value and with friendly and efficient service, only thing they could improve is the tired decor!

The food here is so delicious - I haven't tried every dish but I'm really tempted to give it a go! The restaurant itself is not particularly attractive and really busy on the weekend but I would recommend the take away if you can't get a table. Even then you have to ring early on a Saturday night or just pop in and do a pick up. Whichever, you'll get great food and so inexpensive for such quality and variety.

We had four different dishes and all excellent. Every now and again I try another local place and they just don't compare: The service, consistency of dishes and breadth of menu make for an excellent eat in or take away experience. Plus the house red...

I have been many times over the years. The food is essentially a variant of Indian but generous and tasty. Service is always pleasant and helpful and you can eat very well for no more than £15 per head.

This is a local restaurant for me and I really enjoy it. The food in there is simply delightful. I always grab a curry, and am never disappointed. For 2 people, I normally spend under £30, so the price is pretty good for the quality...

Second time here at Monty's, good service by staff and was busy at the time, but still a nice atmosphere around the place, tables are not very close together which is a bonus. Popadoms for starters, with a mix of there sauces which is exceptional....

We have been ordering from here for two years now. Best Indian in Fulham. We hope they stay consistent as we always end up being disappointed with other places that go downhill after some time. Keep up the good work.

The food was so disappointing. Visited here some years ago and was so excited to eat the Prawn Purée again... the prawns were overcooked and cold, the purée still raw in parts. Waited 30 minutes to have dirty plates cleared from the table only to...

We tend to only get delivery from here as not sure if atmosphere nice. But if you want amazing, consistent Indian food, look no further than Monty's. Good value too.

La comida era buena y la decoración es super retro. El personal estaba bien. Creo que pagamos 15 libras por cada main, un lado y una bebida cada uno, lo cual está bien.Creo que el menú tenía nada nepalesa. Principalmente los platos que constituía que tendrías en cualquier otra casa de curry en todo el país. Un par de platos tenían un toque de Nepal pero nada más.ni siquiera dal bhat tailandés. Vivimos cerca y nos empezó a probar los restaurantes de la zona. Desde que se trasladó a Londres en 2007 hemos pasado casa 6 veces, pero una cosa que siempre se ha mantenido la misma. siempre hemos continuado a la orden Montys. Un día triste cuando cruzamos el río y se negaron a entregar más (suficiente) así que ahora nos conduciremos a recoger eso es lo mucho que me encanta. Los momos son todavía lucharon y la calidad de la curry insuperable. Siempre es estupendo tener un aceite no llena curry. Me encanta Montys de amor.

Monty's never fails to impress, a modest little restaurant sat on Fulham Road with excellent service, fabulous value for money and overall VERY good food! Would highly recommend.

This is a traditional curry house and the flavours are amazing. As others have said, the area is very gentrified, and it's lovely to find an old-school, traditional curry house. For London, it offers fantastic for money.

Es genial para curry aquí, y con flacours nepalí, que tiene algunas especialidades que casas de curry de otras no. Sí, tiene un aspecto un poco Classic British curry resto desde 1980 (sin la grey wallpaper), pero usted encontrará el menú y precio atractivo. No es demasiado lleno la mayoría de días, pero es una buena relación calidad-precio y los camareros muy amable y servicial. Estaba deseando para comer en este restaurante nepalí, habiendo estado en Nepal hace varios años y todavía recordando las famosas "Momos". Me alegra ver que en el menú. Estas últimas eran claramente no recién hecho e incluso probablemente descongelados. Así que me decepcionó. Cuando le preguntamos al menos plato picante, insistiendo en que no necesitaba ser leves y no son calientes, el camarero parecía bastante molesto y estaba diciendo nada en esta lista fue picante bastante grosera. El plato principal era demasiado grasienta y el cordero era nada especial. En general muy decepcionado. No lo recomiendo.

Great place with Nepalese specialities (great Momos etc) with classic British curry house menu as well. Much better value and a fair bit better than local alternative Greedy Buddha. Very nice people who run it and a nice relaxed vibe.

Been in here quite a lot lately really good food at very reasonable prices,I usually have Nepalese curries for a bit of a change,can't fault it

I've now eaten here more times than I can remember and need to say that what I've written in my previous review still applies - the quality has been consistently excellent, I've never been disappointed.

Fuimos con un grupo de 9 y reservamos mesa antes. 20 Dic 2014. La comida estaba bien. No tuvimos problemas, pero el personal necesita mejorar su comunicación y aptitudes para el servicio. No hay mucho de una bienvenida. El servicio es muy lento, por lo que tuve que pedir 3 x o pedir comida y luego tomó 50 minutos en llegar. Que estaba bien, ya que no hay prisa. Tuvimos que pedir 3 veces para la factura al final todo parecía muy extraño y poco molesto ya que me recomendó el lugar al grupo podría ser pero otros lugares parecen apreciar mi tesis montys a medida que más días.

Vivíamos en Fulham y Monty era nuestro lugar favorito! Hemos estado aquí por lo menos 1-2 veces al mes y no una vez me han decepcionado con la comida! Rico sabor y muy asequible. Además, el personal es siempre amable y sonriente.

Monty es uno de los pocos lugares Parsons Green que siempre es genial. La gran variedad de platos de la cocina tradicional casa de curry y nepalesa especialidades en el menú - no siempre se pierda en los momos! Un poco más barato pero mucho más confiables que codicioso Buda.

Went with a female friend and had a nice experience. food was great. few glasses of wine. Staff were fine. Bit slow at times to check if you wanted to order. otherwise fine.

I've eaten a lot of Indians around the world and Monty's is definitely up there with the best, and it's round the corner from where I live!

Not been to montys in ages. Place was busy. Food smelt great. From the poppadoms to the main courses. All was great. Need to come more often. Nice little place.

Superb food.. Never had a bad meal once. Really tasty and non greasy, would highly recommend. We have been in with a large groups and just my husband and I. Everyone we have taken also rates the food

Lazy sábado tarde en Fulham, la línea District cerrado entre Earl's Court y Wimbledon, gente reunirse en bares para la Copa final. Por lo tanto no muy sorprendidos al encontrar un restaurante vacío nepalíes. De hecho, éste fue mi primer contacto con cocina nepalí, para ser completamente honesto, no veo una enorme diferencia entre Nepal e India pero me di cuenta de que la salsa era menos aceitosa (que creo es una de las principales diferencias). Teníamos la comida india habitual, vegetales Madrás, Masala Paneer y arroz. La comida fue absolutamente deliciosa y las verduras parecía muy fresco. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar.

Although veggie, the buffet provided a lovely selection of well prepared food. My friend, an expert cook, agreed whole heartedly that the selection was delicious.

Fui con un amigo el lunes por la noche a las 9:00 de la tarde de que éramos los únicos dos personas en el restaurante, que significaba que conseguimos una mesa de ventana. Hacía un poco de frío en el restaurante, así que preguntamos si alguna calefacción podía poner en ellos obligados por llevar un calentador de gas. Nos dijeron que los radiadores están siendo renovado en la actualidad.

Cosy/warm place with lovely Indian & Nepalese food! Going for dinner there often enough ever since we discovered it.. Try chicken ledo among others & chicken momo for a starter! Service is excellent. Great value for money too!

Habiendo dabbled con diversos curry casas en torno a Londres (varios , con una estrella de la Guía Michelín) en conclusión puedo decir que Monty es consistentemente por lejos la mejor comida que he tenido hasta ahora. El tenía especias bien equilibrados, los platos son variados y contienen mínimo aceite y una copa de vino de la casa (que es potable) es 3,10 libras! ¿Qué más podía pedir?!

Es una relación calidad-precio y cada vez que he estado allí ha sido muy buena. menú es un poco diferente de correr de Mill restaurantes indios - como debería ser - y mucha variedad. Proyecto Kingfisher 2,95 libras por una pinta es también una ganga.

Can't go wrong here, yummy Indian food. We get take away and have done for the past few years. I would recommend chicken tikka masala and the peshwari naan bread. Don't go here expecting much Nepalese I would recommend the Indian food.

We went in this restaurant this evening and food was delicious. It's a quiet and small restaurant, decoration is poor but food and service are good. It's a really cheaper and good value. I recommend you.

My wife and i been to this restaurant 3 times now and we have had a pleasant experience every time. Whatever we have ordered has been superb. Be going again soon. Its been usually £25 including drinks.
