Venimos a cenar en el cumpleaños de nuestro hijo. Chloe y Alex eran encantadores y realmente nos cuidaron. Tenemos hamburguesas y nachos, y todo estaba delicioso. Mucho sabor, bien cocinado y delicioso. Las porciones de nacho eran enormes y solo uno habría alimentado a dos adultos! Los niños disfrutaron de sus postres y mi pareja disfrutó de los cócteles. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Stirling.

En primer lugar nos pidieron que volviéramos en 20 minutos a pesar de restaurante está medio vacío. Después de volver el servicio era muy pobre. Tuve que pedir cubiertos y servilletas. Nada de atmósfera. Comida muy pobre. Las hamburguesas no parecían frescas. Queso macarrones insípido.

Mesa reservada para 19 15 tomó pedidos de bebidas y comida a las 19 20 , la comida llegó a las 20 10 , casi una hora después, a pesar de que sólo había un par de comensales más en. Servicio absolutamente terrible. No volveré.

El servicio era horrible, faltaban varios artículos, frío o mal hecho. Tardó más de una hora en llegar la comida y alrededor de 20 minutos para las bebidas. Me equivoqué de hamburguesa 3 veces antes de rendirme.

Llegué a Monterey Jacks ya que teníamos una mesa reservada para 6: 45 Nunca recibimos nuestra comida hasta el 7 : 45 que btw eran tiras de pollo con patatas fritas y una hamburguesa de desayuno todo el día el pollo estaba absolutamente congelado y también lo estaban mis dos lados bocados de halloumi y aros de cebolla estaban absolutamente congelados hasta el punto de que ni siquiera podíamos comerlos, ya que era desagradable la hamburguesa de desayuno todo el día se suponía que tenía tocino en ella y vino sin, así como de nuevo también estando frío. La camarera nos ofreció una bebida gratis debido a la espera, sin embargo, siento que esta fue una mejor cena desagradable y una terrible primera experiencia que no volveremos

Pensé en venir a comer algo, pero las mesas vacías y el stock repartidos por el restaurante deberían haber sido una advertencia para nosotros. Nos quedamos. Pedimos. Nos arrepentimos. La comida estaba bien, aparte de llegar en un orden que hace que Wagamama parezca organizado. Todo el lugar era frío sin embargo - y no solo la temperatura. Este es un lugar donde mantienes tu chaqueta puesta y tus habilidades sociales sin usar. La temperatura ambiente era tan fría que los alimentos presentados en la mesa se volvieron tibios en minutos. Incluso los pingüinos en la mesa de al lado se quejaban de la falta de calor. Nuestro pedido de comida no estaba del todo bien (por favor, no personalice nada, ya que el sistema parece no calcular ninguna adaptación al menú) y el cocinero parecía ser un zapato de última hora en el bar en lugar del habitual Sous Chef entrenado que esperamos de un restaurante tan fino. Bendito sea el personal, sin embargo - se esforzaron pero claro que Monterey Jacks están confiando en la población estudiantil local para hacer frente a los clientes exigentes en lugar de personal de camarero altamente capacitado - no es que fueran pobres, lo estaban haciendo realmente bien en las circunstancias. Con una mesa de pingüinos revoltosos, temperaturas árticas y una aparente falta de almacenamiento de alimentos, incluso Claridges encontraría las cosas difíciles. Monterey Jacks parece ir en la misma dirección que los viernes. Altos costos, claros signos de reducción de costos y comida meh sugieren que sus días pueden estar contados. Espero que puedan darle la vuelta sin embargo - los pingüinos necesitan un lugar a donde ir!

Llegó y se le hizo sentir mal desde el principio. Éramos dos y la persona en frente de la casa era renuente a sentarnos, ya que solo tenían mesas para cuatro gratis. Eventualmente su gerente de línea le dio permiso para sentarnos. Esperó 20 minutos sin siquiera pedir una orden de bebidas - se dio por vencido y se fue.

El lugar era muy tranquilo cuando visitamos para el almuerzo a las 13. 30 un sábado. El almuerzo era bastante caro y no vale la pena la calidad que obtuvimos. Para ser honesto, las 2 peores partes para mí fueron los baños (de 4 cubículos, solo 1 estaba limpia a distancia y solo 1 tenía rollo de inodoro) y el hecho de que casi nos pidieron pagar por mayonesa! No es una elegante, solo del tipo que normalmente vendría junto con la salsa de tomate. Estábamos muy decepcionados y la realidad es que no volveremos.

Waited over an hour in a dead restaurant, had to ask twice where our food was, burgers were dry. Service was so slow all evening even though the place was only half full.

Don't waste your money. I've made a better burger myself. It was dead when we arrived and the burger I was firstly given was ridiculous! burger cremated and mac had no cheese just pasta and no sauce. Sent it back to then get cold macaroni on top of an even worse burger. Server offered a free dessert as an apology but by that time I was totally peed off and wanted to leave . They had the hard neck to charge me for that cack!!! WONT BE BACK

This place had an excellent atmosphere and layout. It is much bigger than it looks from the outside. We received a friendly welcome and ordered our drinks and food. The food was absolutely delicious. We were only sorry we had no space for a pudding. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again.

Brought a big group of colleagues, even though we made the reservation early in the day and had to pay a deposit, service and quality of food was disappointing. Several in our group had finished eating before their entire meal had arrived. Not sure if the weight staff had much experience with large groups, but service was very subpar. Some dishes were complemented by the group such as the burgers, while others were not very good.

Heard good things so placed an order for delivery, just ordered the chicken and Mac combo, macaroni missing from order (it's a combo). Discussed with Uber driver who said he can't go back for it, so I've got half an order and no recourse. Fab! DO NOT ORDER from here.

Fantastic Burger! The women serving was lovely and gave a great recommendation on the cocktails. Also she knew the menu really well which was a good sign! Burger was cooked to perfection and the portions were great. I ordered the coleslaw as an extra side and probably didn't need it as the portion size were already huge. Only suggestion is that they are playing some weird music videos on the TVs around the place all the time. Might just be me but seemed a bit distracting while eating. Other than that great place to go!

Lovely food however service was really poor. This could be excused if a busy restaurant but there were only 6 tables and multiple staff members who spent more time talking behind the bar and in the kitchen than serving customers. Had to ask for the dessert menu as wasn't offered this when plates were cleared. Also no check back on food or offer of more drinks. Also had to get up from the table and ask for the bill at the till.

Staff very helpful in assisting with menu, as first visit. Recommended a vegetarian burger and some chicken strips. Food arrived swiftly and was very tasty, well presented and filling light airy and clean environment plenty space for our guide dog. Will be back

Ordered a burger to takeaway on Saturday night for 6pm - I had to wait 10 minutes but the restaurant was very busy, always a good sign. However, the burger was definitely worth the wait. Staff were lovely and will be returning to sit in next time.

Disappointed. Food order, 2 adults and 2 children, took 35 minutes for pizza, burger, nachos and a kids hot dog. Hot dog and chips took 40 minutes and was last out. Staff were polite and apologetic and discounted the bill but we won't be back. The place wasn't even busy for a Saturday dinner time service and on the basis of the time it took it won't be busy any time soon. Even sorting the bill took ages. Not happy, won't be returning.

Great meal out for the whole family, we got a couple of sharers to start, nachos, halloumi fries and some chicken. then burgers all round for mains. Beers were great (a tad pricey) but it was a very good cold pint. Highly recommended

Service was slow and half the menu wasn’t available. Had to ask for table to be cleared and fir desserts to be ordered. Ordered a dessert that had fundamental ingredients missing when it arrived and I was given the choice to eat and pay for it or she’d take it away and it wouldn’t be on the bill - not apologetic and not good customers service. Order a delivery from here for dinner. Got a veggie burger, which honestly just tasted like mush. Unfortunately, the macaroni was inedible, actually looked like scrambled egg in pasta, just a curdled mess and tasted it too. Very disappointing.

The pizza was VERY poor - no better than a cheep frozen supermarket pizza. You can get a proper, fresh dough, stone fired pizza elsewhere for the same price. Veggie Burger - the actual patty wasn't too bad however the burger is advertised on the menu as coming with avocado but it came with about a half teaspoon of guacamole instead. I asked for cheese - the staff assured me it was on there but it was ether so thin or so small that even after taking the burger apart I couldn't see any. It was drowned in mayo and chilli sauce - was literally pouring out the side of the bun, off the plate and on to the table. No normal cola options, only diet varieties available (what's the point?). The chips and onion rings were quite good, however they had "ran out" of normal fries so we had to order skin-on fries instead. So, 1 small rubbish pizza, 1 not very good veggie burger, a side of onion rings and 3 soft drinks came to nearly £50!! Staff were fine. Overall a very disappointing and extremely over priced meal. Avoid this chain - go somewhere independent and local - you'll get a much better meal for the same price.

Went here on a a visit to Stirling my dad and I were welcomed by a member of staff as soon as we entered and shown to a table,ordered a lager for my dad and she helped me choose a cocktail great choice I would have been there all day we both had hot daugs and shared french fres enjoyed our food and reasonably priced would recommend.

Having a family dinner after a long flight to Scotland. The restaurant was out of some of the beers and even managed to burn the very last pizza bottom they had. And this was on a half empty Saturday evening. For the burned pizza we waited for 30 minutes until the staff came to inform us they had burned it and would we like to get something else…

Great food , can bring busy and have to wait on table but are able to sit and have a few drinks until table ready. Self service now so either order yourself on app or goto bar and order.

Pros: staff were friendly. Cons: Uft. Very overpriced, the burger was OK taste but pretty small, and no better than something from Burger King, for twice the price. There was meant to be halloumi in it too, which there wasn't, but by the time I realised this I'd eaten most of the burger and couldn't face the aggro. Sweet potato fries undercooked. Just a burger and fries, no salad/slaw. But the biggest rub was that you had to order through the app (which is fine) but they automatically add on a donation to charity at check out... With no option to remove it! Well, it said you could request your server to take it off, but my word, who wants to look like that much of an arse that you want to deprive the kids?! Also, seeing as we were tucked in a back room, I'd literally have had to go hunt down a staff member. Left a sour taste as there was basically no choice. Oh, and a door was left open halfway through my meal so I was freezing even once I'd put my jacket back on. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Last night we decided to fry out this for a birthday dinner. On first impressions the staff were more interested in wandering about chatting to one another than actually greeting you. We were shown to our seat and not told we needed to order via the app despite the girl saying someone would be over to see to us. I approached a girl chatting at the food counter to ask if we could place our order and was told I needed to use the app. I felt the food was overpriced and not worth the money. Suffice to say I won’t be back nor would I recommend.

Very welcoming - nice atmosphere and great range on menu. Quick service too. Mix up with our food where they had made the wrong burgers for us so we did have to wait a bit longer after that but they acknowledged their mistake and rectified it.

The staff couldn't have been more accommodating: allowing us to bring the dogs in when it started to rain after providing a water bowl and a blanket for them. Food was excellent.

Would not recommend. Tried here for lunch while through visiting Stirling for the day, and was bitterly disappointed. The food was severely overpriced for its low quality. Ordered a portion of chicken tender and fried which were over cooked and really unpleasant. Paid £1.50 for a dip that never arrived despite requesting it again after it was initially not brought with the rest of the order. I’m not usually one for leaving reviews especially when they are this negative but I would feel really bad if a large family were to visit and waste their money as the meal wasn’t cheap. The atmosphere wasn’t great either and we were sat at a tiny table which would normally would have been fine had it not been for the additional menus and cutlery box etc that left very little room (there were slightly larger tables available that would have been much better as the place was pretty much empty bar another two tables). My partner orderd the ribs which resemble a small microwave meal on a slate style plate that was almost longer than the length of the table but was mostly made up of salad and slaw, not practical epsecially given the size of the table. I would give the food 2/10, service 1/10 and atmosphere 1/10, I recommend going somewhere else

Told to order on the app and then asked to tip staff at payment. Not the poor staffs fault, I know, but you obviously need less staff, so pay them more and stop asking people to tip for service they didn't receive.

Went for a family meal as limited optio s in area for what we wanted. Last time we were there the beef burgers were cremated never mind overdone so asked for them to be cooked less. Told they can't cook burgers anything but we'll done should have walked our at this stage but asked them to cook as little as possible. Result was burnt burgers and very small ones at that. Me and my boyfriend came to eat here before he goes overseas for a couple of months, we really wanted it to be special and this did not disappoint. Great ambience, the decor is lovely, and the music was class! Our waitress was lovely and attentive and even gave us some recommendations. We both agree this is the best place you can get cocktails in Stirling and the food was BOMB. We both got burgers, the hullabaloo fries and halloumi fries and hoovered the lot. We’ll definitely be back for our reunion night out and we both can’t wait ❤️

We popped into Monterey’s just for a few drinks so to sit outside you ha e to buy food do me n the wife just shared a basket of chips a couple o wines n a couple o Estrelas Select which was amazing Staff very attentive and the place was clean Rain came on so we left. my youngest daughter has a severe dairy allergy, which can be very limiting when going out for dinner. Not only was she enthralled with the restaurant (especially the ladies bathroom which her and her sister were extremely excited with how ‘posh’ it was) but she was able to have the same meal as us (burgers and chips) with a dairy free bun, which was top quality and not the usual rubbish bun you would get anywhere else. The absolute highlight was the fact there was a vegan dessert menu, and she was able to enjoy for the first time, a completely vegan sundae. She was absolutely delighted with this. All the food we had was fantastic and the burgers are some of the best, and freshest I’ve ever tasted.

The food here is amazing. If you want a change to your usual takeaways, then try this place, you will definitely not be disappointed. I experienced their takeaway service and was not let down and the delivery guy was lovely too.
