Food is good quality and exceptionally good value. Great atmosphere and is often busy.

The atmosphere was excellent, creating a pleasant dining experience. We ordered our food through a phone app directly to the table—an interesting first for us in a non-fast-food restaurant. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and while the food tasted great overall, the portion sizes were quite small, and some dishes were not served as warm as expected. With a few improvements, this place could be exceptional.

Typical spoons pub. Staff were friendly and prices are good. Food tasted nice ,but it was Luke warm at best.

Visited today and sadly the service was awful. Obviously new staff however lacked training and supervision. So called Manager saw the queues and issues however disappeared rather than muck in and support the staff. Tables weren't cleaned or cleared of empty glasses and dirty plates. Bar was same. Certainly needs a management and supervision review as it is not working.

I mean... it's wetherspoons. It was OK. Went with some pals on a tuesday, which is their steak night... so of course we ordered the steak. Parts of the meal were good, I appreciated the wide selection of self-service sauces, chips and onion rings were nice and crisp. Grilled mushroom and tomato were decent. Peas looked pretty minging so I left them. The steak was a bit gristly, which did detract somewhat from the overall experience, but the meat was actually fairly flavourful. 5/10 We also ordered some wings to share, with three different sauces. The wings were actually pretty good, juicy and tender meat and crispy skin worked really well with the variety of sauces we ordered. 7/10 Overall, as a place for a cheapish meal with some mates, it did the job. Can't say I'd choose to come back here outside of a group decision though...

Great value, and service, as always. We sat downstairs. The team leader was very helpful. Lovely real fireplace was very welcoming.

Well it's a spoons, drinks are a little expensive, foods fresh out of the microwave, tables are guaranteed to be slightly sticky, but nonetheless it's an alright spoons.

Went for lunch today the lady behind the counter was on her own it was busy my friend got chicken on a roll with chips and I got mac and cheese with chips I had to go back to the bar as my mac and cheese was cold and when it came back it was not nice I think they put my plate in the microwave it was disgusting I won't be back I really felt sorry for the lady who was left on her own no way to run a business

My hubby and I recently had lunch and a few beers at The crossed peels whilst visiting Stirling. We both had haggis and cheese paninis. They where really tasty and piping hot. My hubby had guinness and said it was good. The staff where also really friendly and attentive. A thoroughly brilliant wetherspoons.

A bit more attention to details would make it faster services and availability.

The staff were very friendly and efficient but sadly, three out of our four breakfasts were cold. Both the food and the plates. Disappointing compared to other Wetherspoons that we have eaten in.

It's a witherspoon so you know what you are getting. Korean chicken and chips was actually very tasty. Cheap and cheerful.

We had coffees and hot chocolate. The beverages were good. Certainly for the price, good value.

I had a couple of pints in here recently. They were fine tested, fantastic, and fresh. I'm going in again at the end of the month.

Another great meal at Spoons. This isn't architectural pretty from the outside but from inside it was great. I must mention the staff, they were extra special, all very helpful and attentive.

Rather mediocre compared to other Wheterspoon restaurants. Is centrally located. It is visited by many young people in the evenings on weekends. It's all happening here and the pre-heating is loudly celebrated. Getting a clean table is a matter of luck. The food doesn't have Wheterspoon's standards either. Quick in, quick out.

We've eaten at hundreds of wetherspoons. I took my friend there for a panini with haggis. It's no longer on the menu apparently and the replacement tuna and cheese one was awful. Need to do better.

Highly recommended place if you are visiting Stirling, we stopped by chance on the way down from the castle. Great variety of dishes and all very well prepared (meats, fish, Indian food, pizzas, burgers, salads, etc.). Very efficient and fast service. But you have to be careful with one thing, you must order food through a mobile application, where you indicate what you want and the table where you are sitting, in case you do not want to use that application or it is complicated for you, you must be You who go to the bar and ask for what you want, there are two options, but it is important to know, because otherwise you run the risk of sitting down and not understanding why they don't serve you. The prices are more than correct, in fact it is the best quality ratio. /price we have found on these vacations!

Weird queuing up system - what is all that about??? This is the only Wetherspoons Ive been in where you don’t stand by the bar to wait to get served but wait in a queue going right up the middle of the place. Then get some random stupid local student giving abuse saying ‘ur not from here’ - only coz we went to stand at the empty bar rather queue up through the middle of the pub. Weird!

Typical Weatherspoons, Fried food arrived cold. They said that was the way it should be served. On menu said freshly made to order. Got a refund.

Why do weatherspoons customers queue like they are in a post office unlike normal pub goers who use the whole length of the bar, relying on good bar staff and the unwritten pub code/social etiquette to ensure a fair service???

I went to Spoons today for drinks with some friends. All good. Until the toilets. It was a real challenge to find a cubicle with a working lock on the door, toilet paper in the holder and a functioning flush. I actually felt sorry for the poor girl that I complained to, as the management seem to be aware of the many problems and unwilling to act. There is absolutely no excuse for this filth.

Since we liked going to Wetherspoon in London, we chose this place. But the food wasn't comparable. I've never had such a bad meal (grilled chicken and halloumi salad). Some of the food was still frozen, tasteless and not grilled. Marinade was mayonnaise. Otherwise it was very dirty and dingy.

We sat at table 64 by the window and could not get on the wi-fi probably due the bad weather at the time. Apart from that we enjoyed the time in the Crosses Peels.

Very cheap restaurant, the six of us only paid 40 pounds. Everyone happy!

Quick dinner with the family on arrival in Stirling - good food , friendly service, great value, and the kids loved it! Will return for sure.

Had a poor meal today. Chips were barely cooked!However, the manager Megan,displayed excellent customer service, and was a credit!

The locals seemed to like the food. We found it very average. We are used to better quality fish so it wasn’t that amazing. Expected better quality bangers and mash.

Went on a Saturday tea time for dinner. Jumping, boozy and noisy. My own fault really

Perfect for a typical breakfast!! The waiter is certainly alone but charming and welcoming. The place is quiet and the food is quality at a very reasonable price.

The courtesy and attention of the waitress who served me this morning greatly enhanced the experience in this Wetherspoon, which always proves to be a convenient place for a simple and economical breakfast, with refill coffee, and for using the bathroom.

First time at this wetherspoons and will be the last. Sat down at a booth table on the bottom level and was snowed on with dust coming from the air vents above. Had to dive and save my friends food from a huge piece of dust that fell. I ordered a portion of 4 onion bhajis and a different dish of 4 poppadoms that is supposed to come with Chutney and side salad. When they came the two dishes were in one bowl, there was only 2 poppadoms stacked on top of one bhaji and burnt crumbs… there was no salad and I was instructed to go and collect my own mango chutney, which is fair enough but the menu says it comes with. I sent it back as it was like a joke and when they brought it out again they gave me a normal 2 bhajis and 2 poppadom. Still not the full dishes. I was refunded by the manager for the food and received the extra 2 bhajis and a half hearted tomato and onion salad. In the end I could barley eat it as it felt as if the kitchen staff had no clue what they are doing and no care whatsoever. Also had toilet issues that night which I’m pretty sure is from there. Also I’m a regular at wetherspoons elsewhere and have had the same Tommy’s Margarita over and over. This is this first time however that it didn’t come with a Lime slice which was very disappointing. The only reason for my 1 star review is due to the fine toilets, which surprised me after everything I received prior. At least the cleaner knows what they’re doing. Also the atmosphere on the higher level seemed better. DEFINITELY avoid on curry club day (Thursdays) and try to avoid every other day.

Exellent food, good prices, nice staff, nice facilities, and a fantastic loo with a sofa! Must be experienced. We really enjoyed The Crossed Peels, and recommend it.

My experience at "The Crossed Peels" Pub was quite disappointing. The food was far from good; I ordered a dish with pork, and it was like chewing on a shoe sole, tough and tasteless. An unusual aspect is that orders are placed through a phone system, so there is no server to take your order, although I must admit the food arrived relatively quickly. The place was packed with teenagers and young people, so if that's what you're looking for, the atmosphere isn't bad. However, this did not make up for the poor quality of the food. To top it off, at one point, the fire alarm went off, and we all had to evacuate the establishment for about 10 minutes. In summary, I wouldn't recommend this pub if you're looking for good food and a peaceful experience.

I liked the food and service. It was a Saturday night and I found the place very noisy.

We had been out for a drive and ended up in Stirling as I was selling a Mandolin I the town. As always we went to the local Wetherspoons for our favourite, Chicken Tikka Massala. We have been there before. This one is a little bit off the main shopping area, and there is a fairly steep hill to walk up. As always it is tastefully set out and the staff were cheerful. It was quiet for a Friday and we found a seat right away. You order at the bar quoting your table number. The meal arrived, piping hot within 10 minutes and was very good. Always worth a visit if you are exploring perth for a really nice, quick, simple meal and a few drinks. Highly recommended.

Lovely comfortable place. Clean, not rowdy (6pm). Bit light on the chips but no fault on the workers. Felt welcome and was really quite nice.

Nothing to do with the two young lady’s who was working the whole pub on their own they were doing their best. The tables were filthy , no lager glasses. When one meal came out it was cold and took another 10 minutes to bring other meals out all cold. This is the worse spoons we have ever been in.

We visited this Wetherspoons for the first time. My Beyond Burger was ok...maybe some more exciting garnishes next time. Tom's Steak & Kidney pudding was not satisfactory. He said it was much smaller than it used to be. A bit disappointing. His 80 shillings ale was not the best. Even the coffee tasted watered down...

Had a table of four and one meal twenty minutes late and wrong meal when replaced was meant to be a rare steak and overcooked had money back for the one meal but ruined the experience for all of us and I will not be going back again manager was extremely obnoxious and rude and did not seem to care would never recommend to anyone

Average Spoons and is nothing particularly special. Value for money food and drink served promptly although one member of staff seemed to be incapable of speaking when asked a couple of questions.

Came in on Monday the 23rd @19.00 for a bite to eat and a brew and the quirky barmaid was rushed off her feet and still kept a smile on her face. Tables cleaned and food out promptly. If only all goons staff were this professional.

A traditional old style pub with fantastic tiling & windows. The only downside are the beer prices. But you are drinking in a railway station !!

Went in during a week day and was very quiet. Food was nice (all day brunch). Beer is fairly cheap and it has a large seating area upstairs too.
