Still one of the best bars/restaurants in the area. Service always excellent and very attentive. Never had a bad meal here.

Came here on a Monday evening and the place was buzzing with many customers. We ordered a tomahawk steak which came with four sides and a sauce. And the steak was cooked perfectly. What a pleasant surprise! Will totally come back to Stirling just for the tomahawk steak!

Everything on the menu is amazing; the steak is great, chips are crispy, kids get free icecream!!!! Good value and reasonably priced wine, oh and the staff are also lovely.

It's a shame to say this, this place has been my favourite local-ish place to go for a steak for a few years but the last three times I've been, it's got worse and worse, food not up to standards. The last time the steak just wasn't right and the veg was deffo frozen and of menu, not what was advertised or expected. All in it was a big disappointment.

Went here for office lunch. Food was excellent and service was good.

Had our works xmas night there, the portion size was shocking, order the turkey you only get roast potatoes 2 small bits of turkey a few carrots and 2 brussell sprouts no other potatoes or anything else you expect with a turkey dinner, same with the chicken, same amount of veg but instead of a few roast potatoes I got boiled potatoes that were on the turn as they were green/black, christmas pudding looked like a small slice of black pudding serving with a tiny small jug of custard, looked like the jug came from a dolls tea set.For the price off a 3 course xmas dinner it was absolutely shocking

Debated on what to order because the menu looks incredible. Ordered the fish and chips and it was so good I was legit tempted to eat the lemon wedge just so the experience didn't have to end.

Was in for a funeral so not sure what it's like most of the time

⭐ HIGHLY RECOMMEND ⭐ What a hidden gem, in the mood for a steak, I found this place via a Google search. I pre booked a table and rightly so as this quaint place is a busy one. Walking in we were greeted by a lovely front of house, promptly sat down even though we were a little early. The cosy cabin in the woods feels like the place adds that seasonal feels perfect for the festive time. A great selection of drinks with an in-house bar, and ample options on their menu even catering to children. We both had the soup of the day (lentil) and I myself had a sirloin steak medium and my partner had the chicken burger. Both cooked to absolute perfection, the steak was beautifully seasoned, every bite delicious. The peppercorn sauce I could have drank it was so delicious. I have eaten at some very high end restaurants and this by far is the best steak I've had. My partner voiced high praise for the chicken burger, hand made in house with their batter. The chef is impeccable at what they produce and I cannot praise them enough on their standard and attention to detail. We absolutely will be back and will be recommending to friends and family too. Thank you The Linden for such quality and class and again high praise to all staff especially the chef 🙏🏼.

Been back here multiple times, their steaks are amazing, staff friendly and the place pristine. The menu is varied enough to suit a large group. Gets a little too loud to hear properly when it's full at the weekends plus the music but that is the only small downside.

Met friends for lunch. Had ordered from the lunch menu. 2 course lunch for £15.95.

The most amazing meal out I have had since having to give up gluten 8 years ago. With multiple food intolerances eating out is hard and you often get little chance. Here I got lots of choices, a labelled menu and really well informed, helpful staff. Also the food was delicious. The chef has made a huge effect to make his delicious food available to as many as possible. I 100% recommend it. Really hoping to come again the next time I visit Scotland

Had a really disappointing meal here, baffled how it’s so highly rated. The lasagne was bland and underwhelming, the pork enchilada was sweet to the point of being inedible. Service was friendly but slow and inattentive. Food and drinks were pricey for the quality. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or return.

Used to love this place appreciate I don’t review often and tend to to review my bad experiences more than good ! So usually get a tomahawk to myself in here it’s costly at around £68 for it but after the previous to past experiences it was over cooked decided against it as it was a birthday meal for family thought a would play it safe decided to get the mushrooms on bread with peppercorn sauce at I think it was around £6.95 peppercorn sauce tasty but I had 2 slices of garlic bread / baguette the kind you get out of supermarkets for 2 full ones for around a £1 and count em 5 mushrooms in total about 30pence of ingredients !! No check back then for my main had the chicken and haggis pie ! Not really a pie but a pie top with filling under had this before and love it the haggis and chicken in sauce no complaints apart from portion about half the size of usual however pie top not cooked properly and not even describable as soggy and chips more or less uncooked !! Still no check back been here with friends and family approx 30-40 times and was this just a moan or gripe perhaps but after having trouble with tomahawks etc didn’t want to Ruin family dinner by complaining !! Think it’s had it’s day certainly won’t be back and if they can afford to lose patronage by standards dropping like this uncooked Chios etc power to them

Took my good lady out for a nice treat Steak. Our 1st choice wasn't available but our server Gerry recommended an alternative (The New York Strip Steak) that was also really nice. Sides were very tasty and Gerry suggested the Garlic Sauce to have with the steak which was a great choice. Great food. Great Service. Will be back soon for sure.

A great place to eat, very friendly staff.

I had just spent a few days in St Andrews paying a lot more for a lot less when it comes to food. This place was better than anything. The staff were actually brilliant, the food was just amazing. It's was my wife's birthday and we brought our dog and I am not sure who was made more welcome🤣 Coming back next week.

First time here and really enjoyed it. We had a couple of little issues nothing major and they got sorted. Staff were lovely and helpful. Would defo come back again.

We were recommended this restaurant by a work colleague and I can't say I'm disappointed, lovely relaxed atmosphere, laid back, efficient, friendly staff who delivered a quick and professional service. I can't fault anything. Next time I will try one of the cocktails. The decor is lovely and modern. Can't wait to come back for date night when it's just mum and dad! Plenty of parking, easily accessible, great food and great staff, all you could want when you are dining out.

Great spot for lunch. Menu has amazing amount of choice for lunch. Well looked after. Never felt rushed to leave. I loved the loaded fries with haggis, pepper sauce and cheese. Great with a glass of irn bru. Then I had mint aero cheesecake for dessert. Great value for money - also good for gluten free options

I came here a few months back and got the fillet steak ciabatta which was lovely, served cut up and was nice and pink. I ordered the same again last week and it was rotten. A horrible, chewy, gritty bit of frying steak was served in a dry ciabatta I was so disappointed and felt sick the rest of the afternoon. I asked the waitress to question why it wasn’t a fillet and to relay back to the chef the fact it wasn’t good to which she said she would get back to me and she never. Very disappointed as I have raved about this restaurant to many people.

There were 17 of us for a family lunch; the menu is quite extensive, and in view of the group size, the restaurant had asked us to give them our food choices in advance. This was no bad thing, as it could easily have taken 20 minutes to do this if we had done this after we got there. It was great that even though we were a large group, we could still chose anything from the menu, rather than all having to those from three or four options. The food was very tasty, the staff were lovely, and overall it was a great success. This was the second time that I had been there, and I would happily go back there.

Absolutely lovely restaurant. We actually travel over 40 miles to have a meal in the Linden Inn. The food is fantastic, the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

We had a table of 18 to celebrate a family birthday, so booked ahead. The staff were friendly, helpful and very efficient. Each course arrived together and everyone enjoyed their meal. I would certainly recommend a visit.

I love this pub, I come here often to either have a drink & speak to the locals or come in for a family dinner as the food is delicious. I would highly recommended the Linden Inn to anyone that wants great food & friendly service

The staff was lovely, and we had great service. We took the waiter’s recommendation on the cut of beef, a bone in rib eye. I can honestly say it was some of the best steak I’ve ever had. The quality of beef was extremely high, and it was cooked to perfection. If we are ever in the again, we will make it a point to stop in!

Enjoyed a beautiful birthday meal in the Linden Inn Stirling. Staff were excellent, understanding of food allergies and ensuring our meal was perfect. Exceptional care by the chef who served us fresh,really tasty food, both meals tasted amazing. Staff and Chef genuinely produced two evening meals of five star standard. Neither staff nor chef could be faulted. At home, still buzzing from a great tasting experience, more than fairly priced so week days are feasible for a celebration night out. Will definitely book again, even without having something to celebrate!

Don’t wear football clothes here they will send you home even with a booking! Ridiculous, if your going make sure to check what your wearing is suitable. This information isn’t on any door or windows or their website

The food is just okay. The variety on the menu is good but this might mean some items are frozen and not homemade. I got the fish and chips and the fish was quite greasy (I had to blot some of the oil out)! They say some items are served with 'chips' and they also have 'fries' available but they're both the same thing which is a bit unfortunate. I think the steaks are worth trying as the beef medallions we got were quite good, although would be good to have the sauce on the side to allow people to have as much as they prefer!

The roast dinner I had was just ok,I am pretty sure the roast potatoes were frozen ones and the gravy was so so gloopy so sorry it was not for us as none of us really enjoyed it

You will not happen upon this place by chance. Its location means that you will have to seek it out. But well worth it if visiting Stirling. Don't quite know where to start. The food is outstanding. The service likewise. It terms of the food and service, this place is amazing value for money. This was my second visit, and the standard was still consistently good. The menu is very varied, and the steaks are superb. Food and service make this one of the best places ever in Central Scotland, never mind just Stirling. If you are anywhere near Stirling, plug the postcode into your SatNav and don't miss out. You will love it.

In for a family graduation dinner tonight and it was perfect staff and service were outstanding even though it was busy , we had a lovely time , we will absolutely be back as always !

We were in for dinner tonight (Thursday) five of us . Could not fault one thing the staff and food were spot on. both the girls who served us are a credit to your business . 10/10

Normally one of my favourite family restaurants to visit but tonight the kids waited over 20mins for their ice cream. Staff all gathered at the bar chatting despite hearing my kids asking me where their ice cream was several times.

It's all very well Google asking you to write reviews but why bother WHEN THEY WON'T UPLOAD. Anyway, this place handled us a group of fourteen with different orders. Service was prompt and accurate. Steaks were each cooked as requested and customisations were catered for well. Portions were ample.

Commercial pub. Reasonable beer but not cheap. Plastic plants in the beer garden are disappointing. One member of bar staff rude. Complaint about same went unanswered.

Impromptu Saturday lunch. Don't let the somewhat unprepossessing surroundings put you off. The food (Steak pie, veg. & fries for me, Thai steak salad and fries for herself) was yummy, the coffee & service excellent, the prices reasonable. Will certainly go again.

I am coeliac and the place is fantastic. Great selection of food, I had Mac n cheese with BBQ pulled pork and it was delicious. Terrific value for money and the staff are friendly and very efficient. First time here, will not be the last. Oh, my wife had chicken and Stornoway black pudding pie -no dietary restrictions- which was also absolutely delicious. Fabulous wee place.

We held a 60 th birthday celebration , 17 guests in private conservatory. The service was quick and attentive but also natural snd fun chat which added to a relaxed atmosphere. All the food was enjoyed - the steak pie was a big win with our party - we enjoyed all starters mains and desserts and were allowed enough time to enjoy coffees and birthday cake afterwards The drinks waiter was quick snd he helped us light the cake A wee table provided for cakes and gifts etc Great venue for a celebration meal Thank you Team Linden Inn

We came here for a family birthday dinner. Food was fab, and our waitress won over our young grandchild, making it a lovely evening out for us all.

Limited parking, unfortunately it's not the best sited, it sits next to a large and tall factory that looks akin to a mill. That said it, it in no way detracted from our experience. The food was fantastic, the best steak I've had in years. Every item was perfect for me. The others in our group were of the same opinion. Portions size was spot on...the garlic cream sauce is one not to miss. I'm normally not fond of chips, but these were different, I would order them again, no hesitation! The service was good, no long waits, the staff were happy and engaging. We will be a repeat customer, and I'm genuinely looking forward to getting another steak. Keep up the great work See you in 2024!

Easily my favourite place for a steak in Scotland, when I have time I'm more than happy to do the 4hour round trip for a fillet steak, menu is 1st class, an amazing selection for my wife who's coeliac so it's always a winner 🏆

Stopped by at 5pm, just as the restraunt was opening, they were gearing up for their Christmas bookings and by judging by the amount of tables set out for festive parties, they were expecting a busy evening. We had not booked a table, but the staff made room for us, although first in,we were served up excellent freshly cooked meals from their main menun a timely manner. Plenty parking available at rear of building.

Lovely bar and restaurant just outside of Stirling centre. The service was excellent and the food really good quality and very quickly brought out. All at a very reasonable price too. We'll worth seeking this place out for a good meal if you're in Stirling.

Food and service fantastic,not the easiest place find but we’ll worth looking for Some of the decor and poor lighting could be better plus the toilets are in need of modernisation The food and service far out weigh any moans

17 of us crammed between 2 separate tables. We were then informed we couldn't go to the bar and it was then suggested as we were at 2 tables that we got 2 separate bills and work out what each person owed to the bill on settlement. Then at 7.10pm. we were informed we had to vacate our table by 7.30pm. We were not informed of this upon booking and we asked if we could go and sit somewhere else we were told we could sit in the beer garden. The weather was dreadful but the restaurant manager informed us it was all he could do. This was my sisters 80th birthday meal and her day was ruined. Another two of the party are disabled and to find taxis at short notice at this time on a Saturday is ridiculous. The 2 stars I gave were for the meal which was very good and the young ladies who served it were faultless. Unfortunately the organisation and the restaurant manager were dreadful9
