Nearly missed it as new to Stowmarket and there was scaffolding outside! Browsed St Elizabeth charity shop until a table empty. Very busy, but happy, chatty place! Lovely chicken mayo and bacon sandwich although bread perhaps a bit too thick. Lovely side salad. Lovely hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Pleasant lunchtime.

Wilby RoadLovely fresh pub, recently renovated I’d say, sadly no food was available, but if you want a drink in a beautiful environment, this is the place. Great frontage, plenty of outdoor furniture and a superb place to catch the afternoon sun and watch the world go by.

3 Old StreetWe had a family meal today - My parents (79), my sister, my husband and my daughter. We were welcomed very warmly, seated at our table quickly, and orders taken. The food was delicious - excellent portions and real value for money. The waitresses were great, and really looked after us. We had a really lovely afternoon and will definitely be back. Thank you very much.
