Molly's Cafe in Conwy

Been here many times, everything is good value except for one thing the sausages are awful, just our own personal opinion.

I used this cafe on the two days that i was visiting Llandudno this week, as it had been well recommended, and i was definitely glad that i did .... if there was a better breakfast to be found in that town then it would amaze me, the food was excellent, and you weren't kept waiting long for it either.

It's a good traditional cafe with friendly service. If you're looking for hipster coffees and crushed avocado on organic rye with sprinkles of fairy dust, you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for a good traditional cooked breakfast (or a veggie option) that's big, filling & good value (and open earlier than many other cafes in the town), you can't go wrong coming here.

Called in for breakfasts with tea, food average but it was cheap, 5 star food Hygiene rating for the kitchen but this does not apply to the eating area, floor needs a good scrub.

We chose this place at random, no frills cafe £7.50 for a belly buster breakfast that I struggled to finish. And £5 for small breakfast and was more than enough for my elderly mother. Food was good and very hot. Only downside drinks were extra.

Visited this morning after googling best breakfast in Llandudno and so glad I did. Clean tables, Perspex screens separating each table, friendly helpful waitress. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection and not at all greasy. I’ll definitely return when next in town. One thing to note is it’s cash only.

Awful greasy spoon cafe and very grubby tables and floor looked as if it had never been brushed and even the menu which is covered in plastic felt so greasy and food swimming in grease and didn't finish as it tasted awful, will never go near this grubby place again and immediately covered my hands in sanitizer and my wife was sick an hour later.

Food was tasty, good value and plentiful, and served by friendly staff and quickly too. The environment needs attention though - overall felt quite grubby so sadly wouldn't return at the moment.

My partner and I visited Mollys cafe as the reviews were very good but we didn't take into account that most of the people who eat there must be used to filthy floors and tables, cheapest fat laden sausages, margarine that tastes like industrial lubricant and although I usually drink cheap coffee, thiers tasted like hot washing up water. All fried in smelly, old tasting fat!But wow... there was loads of it so it must be good! And this is the first little gem you see when you arrive by train at Llandudno! How embarrassing for a lovely town.

Had breakfast here today it was really good and cooked as I asked the staff were really friendly and helpful, It’s COVID friendly with screens in between the tables and hand wash. I will definitely be going back.

Went one morning & had an fabulous breakfast at a really good price.Serving lady couldn't do enough for me and my dogs.Gave it a five review.Went back the next day and had te you.he unfortunate experience of meeting the owner's daughter who was taking the orders.In MY opinion she is arrogant beyond belief and seems to think customers should be grateful that she deigns to serve you.

Came in for a breakfast and as im fussy I do not eat alot of things from the menu. I had 4 things taken off the menu but they did not exchange items. I only wanted 2 hashbrowns instead but had to pay for them separately. I did have fried bread and I was offered to have normal toast instead. The breakfast was nice but very greasy, which was not for me. Would come again but not get the breakfast.

Exactly what you expect from a little cafe like this. Great service, lovely breakfasts, nice tea. Really good price too.Don't expect anything fancy and don't try to mess around with the standard breakfast order either- they focus on knocking out great simple breakfasts, not customising and changing them for everyone's individual taste. If you don't like the mushrooms, don't eat them! Or give them to someone else!

My husband and I have visited Llandudno many times over the years.We have had a full english (welsh) breakfast in many hotels and cafes, but none have come close to the ones we had in Molly's Cafe last week. You could order exactly what you wanted, it was beautifully cooked, hot and tasty. and at £5.00 each it was great value, Will definitely go to Molly's the next time we go to Llandudno. Just make sure you take cash, because they don't have a card machine.

We visited here early on a Tuesday morning, cafe was quiet, with plastic screens up between the bays to allow for social distancing. It opens at 7am which is brilliant since a lot of places don't open for breakfast until 9.30. The man that served us was friendly and service was quick. There was lots of choice for breakfast, everything from full English, to baps, toasties, toast etc. We both had a can of tango which was very cold, which was really nice. Cash payment only which wasn't a problem just be aware to nip to the cash machine.Next time we are in Llaundudno we will definitely be nipping in again.

Called in on a very wet day so looked forward to a nice breakfast... with a cup of tea £6.Served very quickly. Food hot.Covid wise... all the tables are partitioned seperatly...though the centre aisle is very narrow for passing.But for something to eat... yep worth a visit

Finished night shift and didn’t fancy cornflakes at home. So glad I went to Molly’s. I had the normal sized breakfast and it was really nice. Bonus being fried bread as not many places do it these days. Also very sensible covid arrangements.

We were staying nearby and hadn't had chance to get breakfast stuff from a shop the night before, so i popped out for a bacon sandwich. Excellent, cheap, and quick, and inside, there were sensible covid precautions. Right next to the station and a great place.

Went here on a Sunday in Aug as we didn’t want to have cereal, but the weather was horrendous so why venture out for Breakfast, but as soon as we got here we were made to feel welcome by the guy behind the ctr. We sat ourselves down just by the ctr then waited our turn to place our order if your looking for proper home cooked food then this the place to be real food real taste. I couldn’t fault this place if I tried and I wouldn’t want to it as it was as tasty as it was fresh with great cooked food. Inside there was plastic sheeting between each table and only one person was allowed in the walk way at any one time, looking at it, they have done the best with what they could to help with Government COVID-19 restrictions and it works.

What a fantastic little place by the station. Great value for money. The small breakfast was plentiful. The waitress was attentive and polite providing excellent service. Will definitely be back!

Full English breakfast - perhaps not the best quality ingredients but mega cheap for all that. Lots of local builders etc which tells its own story.

Lovely welcome and very clean. Small but perfect for a nice quiet breakfast. The prices are very good and the portions are amazing. Lovely classic English breakfast with great service. The lady serving was always smiling and was very chatty. This is a good standard traditional cafe. Enjoy it!!!

Went in after a big night out and the food sorted me out perfectly👌.Greeted with a welcoming smile. At the time there were some disruptive customers but were handled perfectly by the young lady behind the counter.

Caffè Molly is a family-run cafè next to Llandudno station that offers great English breakfast for a cheap price. Some table available inside, but they fill very quickly with people keeping coming in before catching a train. I think we have been served by Mrs Molly, a lovely person who did her best to make us feel welcomed.

I have been here many times over the years and it still remains the best place for a breakfast in town! The special breakfast is bacon x2, sausages x2, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans, egg, toast and fried bread and all freshly cooked and for £5! Friendly staff and customers who included locals and holiday makers. My other half had a bacon, sausage and egg toastie which was equally generous and £3.80. This place is not pretentious in any way just a nice trad cafe. Well worth a visit!!

Best full English in town not only do u get all the extras black pudding mushrooms fried toast as well as toast all that u should expect. But big portions friendly staff and best price too.

Excellent breakfast . Nicely cooked with good bacon and soft eggs. Busy and small , closes soon after lunch . Children catered for, our little one even had a latte made up perfectly for her . Definitely call again when breakfast needs to hit the spot .

Popped in for a coffee and a bacon roll -so glad I did £4 got me the best value breakfast in a long time..! The coffee was excellent and there was plenty of bacon in the roll. Ask if you want no butter or you want your bacon crispy.

Come to Molly's cafe for a all day breakfast my friend is highly allergic to beans and tomato. We asked if they could be changed to another item they said no and expected her to have the full breakfast with added items that she would have to pay extra for. They clearly don't understand that under no circumstances the beans or tomato should not be on her plate what so ever but wanted to charge full price when not all the items were wanted! They really didn't care so we left without ordering from here and went to kitchen 56 which was stunning and she was able to change as many items as she wanted 10/10 for kitchen 56!

Breakfast style menus.The photo shows a standard breakfast made from good quality ingredients.The cafe is ideally located next to the railway station and doesn't pretend to provide anything more than simple good honest cooking. I call in regularly whilst awaiting my service as it sets me up for the day.

Close to railway station and open early. Good menu of cooked breakfasts,, very generous portions, superb value, and you are in for a treat if you prefer the full cooked style. The standard breakfast is huge, but if you feel brave try the massive "belly buster"!

Just an ordinary cafe serving good quality food, tea and coffee. This everything you want from a greasy spoon. No pretentious stuff just an honest bite to eat. Love it.

Decided to go to Llandudno for the day and arrived there about 9.00a.m. There was alot going on with a fair in the main street and a classic car show. There were classic buses to take you to the car show but before we went there we wanted somewhere to eat breakfast so asked the bus driver if he could recommend anywhere. This is when he told us about Molly's. What a great cafe this is, the breakfast was excellent, with a good choice and everything cooked fresh for each order. This cafe turned out to be a great recommendation and if you want good food this is the place to come. Thank you Molly's for a wonderful breakfast.

had a nice bacon and sausage bap .staff were friendly . while i waiting for my food ,i did notice a member of the public being served his breakfast ,the plate was full of food and it looked very nice and fresh .its a shame my train was due in otherwise i would ordered had more time .

If you want a full breakfast in Llandudno this is one of the best, a great deal in both the food and price. Will keep you going for the whole day.

Overall for price/quality the best in town. Right next to the railway station. Never been disappointed. Decent portion sizes, great genuine cafe atmosphere....

Cheap, cheerful, clean what more can you ask for. Very good find today for a lunch. All day breakfast very good and plenty of it two of us had them service was good and the meals were hot one of us had beef burger and chips the other had sausage egg and Chips no complaints what so ever

Floor and window sills filthy. No choice in breakfast menu just big or small. Ketchup bottle was full of dried sauce under lid. I went because it is so local but never again.

Down to earth no frills cafe, but serve one of the best breakfasts in Llandudno and Conwy County. Food was cooked and served promptly and plenty of it. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone. Great value for the money.

Terrible coffee, none of the waiting staff were wearing aprons, sitting outside and then serving people their food, hair not tied back and was flying everywhere, the young brunette was more interested in what was going on at the train station and talking to her friends rather than serving people. Didn’t order food as it didn’t look great

Its a greasy spoon type cafe, friendly helpful staff, good range of breakfast food, well cooked and tasty, excellent value, we will return

Highly highly recommend this place only ever had a brekfast mind but stil it’s absolutely worth the money, decent price too. One slight issue I’m not keen on the sausages but other than that it’s got to be 5 stars from me

Wanting a snack whilst out popped into Molly's and had a jacket potatoes with lots of Welsh cheese my husband had cheese on toast and two lots of tea tea was only two pound a pot food was hot Nd served quickly and lots of it. Really good

Recently on day out to Llandudno and where for lunch

Molly's cafe is very unclean looking and the coffee tastes like washing liquid yet the cups look dirty :| and i would not eat their food which is pre cooked then dipped in old fat (i saw it being prepared for some one) if i was paid to. I recommend that people avoid this cafe at all costs.

Molly's is right next to the train station and just round the corner from Trinity Lodge where we were staying in Llandudno. The food was great value and nothing but scrumptious! Could have a double full breakfast with 2 of everything (bacon, sausage, etc.) for only £5 although we opted for the slightly smaller portion of 1 of everything for £4. The portion sizes were very generous and the food was absolutely delicious. Wasn't just breakfasts you could have - the menu had lots to choose from but can definitely recommend the full English they do! The vibe was welcoming and friendly, with a steady flow of customers. Brilliant! Will definitely be stopping in again next time we're in Llandudno.

Not many "Real" Cafe's left. This is one of them.

Called in here on Christmas Eve for a hearty breakfast, and was not disappointed! The breakfast I had was fantastic and cheap.

We walked in wanting a cup of tea and a cup of coffee, however as they were busy, they refused to serve us as we didnt order food.

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning and have been many times before. The food is cooked perfect no fat on plate brill. I had the small breakfast which had bacon, egg, sausage, tinned tomatoes, black pudding, beans, mushrooms toast and fried bread. It came out hot and tasty well worth a visit and you get all this on your plate for £3.50. Turn a blind eye to the furniture because you don't eat that!

Should have turned around at the door when I noticed the 3 star food rating on the door.. But the idea of a nice bacon bap for breakfast had already been well and truly implanted in my early morning brain, next thing to concern me was the very grubby look to the place, but I thought to my self that it is a greasy spoon kind of place, so to be expected.. I placed my order and watched in horror as the guy serving dipped the pre-cooked bacon in the deep fat fryer for a second or two then dropped it on the hot plate, for which turned out to be less than required to crisp up the fat.. To cut a long story short I paid £3 for two horrible bits of bacon on a bap with a sachet of the cheapest tasting 'tomato flavoured sauce' I have ever had. Expensive and awful, wont be going again.

We called in for a coffee while waiting for a train,as you open door your met by smell of grease from kitchen,but obviously a cafe popular with locals,most of whom seemed to opt for all day breakfast.

Best breakfast out there. No grease freshly cooked, good amount. Will defo use regularly when I'm in Llanduno and surrounding areas. Good is very good. If anything it just needs a bit of a lick of paint without increasing costs

Great little cafe for a full english before a long train journey. Not the healthiest option if eating with kids but a really friendly little place.

Went in for breakfast, glad we did. Excellent service with good food in this little cafe .We had the 4.50 breakfast, too much food. Starts at 3.50 and should have gone with that. Recommend this one.

The brunette behind the counter was so rude no please or thank you! Ordered a breakfast and the sausages were disgusting! Ordered a Latte to go with it and the girl couldnt even be bothered to stir the coffee in properly was awful tasting.There are some lovely cafes in Llandudno and this is not one of them!

Me and my brother went to Molly's for breakfast, had the full English breakfast with a good cup of tea and it certainly didn't disappoint. Will defo go back there next time I am in Llandudno

Been here a few times over the last few years and although the decor isn't up to much it more than makes up for it in both quality and quantity in the food it's got to be the best cooked breakfast in North Wales with friendly staff and a old fashioned kind of ma's gritty transport cafe well worth the stop if you're going by train and right next to a pay and display in the centre of a very good shopping centre and picturesque town of Llandudno with all its charm and character

Can't fault the breakfast bacon cooked to absolute perfection, eggs perfect and a cracking cup of coffee. Place was immaculately clean. Very nice prices and staff were very happy and polite as well

I went to Molly's for breakfast because everywhere else was closed and it seemed to be the only place open so early on a weekend morning ... I shouldn't have worried, my breakfast was lovely. Incredibly tasty, very well cooked and not at all greasy.

Seriously can't fault this place at all. The breakfast is to die for .. no grease all clean and fresh. I travel for this place. Highly recommend if your down on holiday or live locally and fancy a fry up before you set out your day .. definitely go to molly's!!

If you come by train from Chester or anywhere else for that matter, then a quick cup of coffee or tea is recommended at Molly's before you do anything else.

Best breakfast in town. I have eaten at this cafe lots of times and the food is good every time. very fast service and good sized portions, will definately go again.

Nice petite cafe with extremely prompt service and freshly cooked food. Had the all day breakfast and it was great, don't get a drink with it but its still good value. No room for a high chair though so not practical for a family and could do with a good clean.

Just had Breakfast here, 18/09/14. What a treat. £4.50, 2 Sausage, 2 Bacon, Egg, Black Pudding, Mushrooms, Beans, Plumb Tomato, Toast and Fried Bread. Wow! Will Be back. Highly Recommended. Oh, it is a Cafe.

a fantastic breakfast at a great value price!! filled me up for the day, great service and great food...definatley worth a visit and i will be returning again!!

This small restaurant popular with locals id adjacent to the exit from the train station, we regularly visit LLandudno for a shopping day out and our first port of call is Molly's where we SHARE a belly buster breakfast, it is cooked to order within a few minutes, 2/3 bacon 2 sausage two eggs black pudding mushrooms beans tomatoes fried bread and toast all for £5-40 and the coffee is milky and delicious thoroughly recommend this cafe for breakfast when visiting Llandudno

Well at Molly's, it certainly does last you all day! I have had this so many times and it is always a delight. You certainly don't need anything else for 12 hours+ and very tasty too. The staff are all local and are very helpful and you have never had a breakfast served as quick as this believe me!! Try it! for £ 4.50 it is the best and tastiest around......and for all those cynics out there, this is a cafe and not a £ 30 a head restaurant and if you have not been in a cafe before..... This is what one looks like, get used to it its not rocket science!

I visited Molly s Cafe with my 3 workmates whilst on a call out in Llandudno and had the best full English I've had in years.

Had great breakfast here. If you can ignore the dirty cups and floors and even the chefs "whites" then you get a really hearty tasty breakfast. Really could do with a clean up but people dont seem too bothered that their cup doesnt seem to have been washed between customers!!

Went into Molly's Cafe for lunch. Had good quality All Day Breakfast . This was very good quality with very friendly staff. Would Highly Recommend . I will be back again.

Stopped off at Molly's café for a coffee while waiting for the train home from a weekend in Llandudno because we were early for our train and the café is next door to the train station.
