I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Lemon Tree Tea Room, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The charming ambiance, with its cozy decor and welcoming atmosphere, made it the perfect spot for a relaxing break. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest felt at home. Their knowledge of the tea selection was impressive, and they were happy to offer recommendations based on preferences. Overall, the Lemon Tree Tea Room is a true gem. Great service, lovely cream tea.

Lovely coffee and cake. Nicely decorated with an Alice in Wonderland theme. Good portion sizes and friendly, helpful staff.

We had a lovely lunch, followed by a delicious dessert. Good menu with plenty to choose from, even our sometimes fussy 3 year old was happy. If we are ever nearby again, we will go back.

Lovely little cafe to pop in for a bite to eat and a drink.

We asked to sit at a table that had four settings but as we were only two we were directed to a table in a poky corner with not a lot of room. My mother is elderly and uses a walker. There was not a lot of room. The waitress pulled a face when I asked to sit at the bigger table. She said it was meant for four people. She had a terrible attitude. What a poor way to treat customers. We felt very uncomfortable and left without ordering anything. Would not recommend.

I'm sorry but I didn't have a great experience here on Saturday. There was a family ordering when I joined the queue to order my coffee. The family were being difficult and taking a long time to order, whilst the server took their order the other 3 servers thought it would be productive to just watch. Might be a good idea to be able to take more than 1 order at the same time as I was close to leaving. We then had another long wait for our coffees to arrive and they were luke warm. On a positive note the decoration is lovely inside and there were delicious looking homemade cakes.

Ordered poached eggs on granary got fried on cheap wholemeal bread 🍞 it was about 2 ISH on a Friday busy time past,but still 😔

You can get a good selection of English breakfasts here in a beautiful, dog-friendly atmosphere. On our next visit we will meet at tea time.

Overpriced cakes had biscoffe not great, coffees were luke warm so had to ask them to be heated up. Staff friendly and welcoming but overall food quality not worthy of price charged

We nipped in on our way back to the coach , they where tidying up as nearly closed but said we were welcome for tea & cake . Got told after we had ordeed that we couldn't use the toilets as they had already cleaned them... =( .. apart from that a nice place good cakes nice tea.

Everything about this place is amazing. The decor is beautiful and the food was delicious. I ordered the vegetarian breakfast.

Very disappointed after friends commenting on how great it is. My coffee was awful, they'd burnt the milk. £11.50 for what looked like vomit on a bit of bread and 12 skinny fries...not sure what the coleslaw was meant to go with as no salad. Serving frys in mini fryers is all well and good but this means nowhere for condiments. Table was so grubby. Waitress was so miserable, I understand we all have bad days but put on a smile or stay home. Sitting next to the toilet whilst a coach load of oap's visited not great. Won't visit again

Only went here for a brief moment. Massive restriction on kid meals where only 12 years old and below can have them. Even if it's an adult wanting a smaller meal than what the other meals may bring. Food service ends at 4 pm, which was a bit disappointing, but can't be helped really

Came in at 1620. Shop closes at 17.00. Staff was clearly seemed to be waiting for the end of the workday. Possibly its normal here that chairs are already hoisted on to the tables 30min before closing timebut felt like a sign to leave. Scone was a bit dry, chocolate cake was delicious.

Had a pork and apple pie. It was really nice. The bbq chicken my hubbie and dad had was a big serving both enjoyed. The only downfall is not enough room for cake, so we will have to visit again.

Been here several times over bank holiday weekend ,very friendly lady i think owner ,she was lovely we were able to take dog in. The food was excellent had tea and cake first day and full breakfast second and returned twice more for tea and coffee very clean would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Everything was fine but I accidentally forgot to order my gf gluten free bread for Eggs Benedict. We changed the order before it arrived but was told they’d charge for the wasted muffin. Ok but £2.80 for a muffin! Jokers. That left a bad taste in our mouth, but it could have been the curdled milk.

Seen this place many times when at Llandudno and opportunity to visit today! A good menu and reasonable price. Comfortable. Nice China teapot and cups! Varied menu to suit all tastes!

Nice cafe pleasant surroundings, friendly staff

With dogs in tow and having previously turned away from one particular CARD ONLY venue, we found this lovely little tea rooms which welcomes dogs. It was very attractive and quaint, both inside and out and not overly busy. We were served with a smile, it was very reasonably priced and my husband really enjoyed his pistachio cake and I loved my spicy tomato soup. Perfect on a very cold and windy day. Would definitely recommend and would go here again in an instant, especially as they sensibly take cash.

Originally only went in for a cuppa. Then we saw the menu my partner had eggs benedict which looked nice but didn't beat my chicken club sandwich it was huge with 3 slices of bread with a side of fries. Lovely girl served us on the till. With a hint of alice in a wonderland wants not to like.

Nice food at a good price. Very odd interior, which I really liked. Friendly and fast service and I found my meal great value and tasty. We were the first ones there so the atmosphere was a bit thin. By the time we had finished the tea room was very busy and lively without being noisy and so the 4 stars for atmosphere.

We had afternoon tea for my partners 50th just after asking her to marry me at the summit of great orme. Food was great lovely place ☆☆☆☆☆

Scones and tea, tea barely had any taste, scones were served cold with cheap jam and runny cream.

My daughter and I visited the cafe yesterday for a mum and daughter day lunch. We had a kid's sandwich with crisps, drink and chocolate bar, chips, scrambled eggs on toast with 2 rashers of bacon and a can of coke. It came to £18.65. And it was worth every penny. We enjoyed our meals and my daughter said she liked it that much she'd like to work there one day. She's only nine. 😊😋

I've always used the cafe on all my visits to Llandudno. Each time, lately, I say to myself 'this is the last time' Today really was my last time. This morning I visited for breakfast alone. I didn't even have a full English as I didn't have bacon, beans or mushrooms. It still came to nearly £15 with a cup of coffee and a small orange juice. I've always thought the owner was rather miserable, but today I watched her and the chef (I assume is her husband) And I realised they really don't deserve customers. Not a smile between them. Looked like they were sick of serving people. Heard no please or thank you from them either. Saw them roll their eyes a few times though In future I will go where I can get a warm welcome and manners.

Not happy with our visit here today as we sat down and decided we wanted a small breakfast each. I stood at the till waiting to order and was then informed that the small breakfasts were only for children under 12 years and the young girl refused to let us have one. I informed her that we would have to eat somewhere else then and found another cafe which was happy to provide a small breakfast for us. Cafes should realise that not all of us can eat large meals and if a smaller meal is requested it should be offered as not just for a child.

We had Buck Rarebit, healthy full breakfast, veggie breakfast and the bacon and sausage bap...they were all perfectly cooked. Cute decor and relaxed atmosphere, please take cash with you as they are a small business. Will definitely return 😀

Cute little cafe, popped in here for a drink but saw the menu and couldn't resist getting a full English and the Welsh rarebit! The server was friendly and the food came out quickly. Would recommend to anyone stopping off in Llandudno. Obviously after some heavy arcade time.

With an Alice in Wonderland theme a very pleasant and welcoming cafe for a hot drink and home made cakes.

Lovely dog friendly cafe, Very nice food and a good selection of cake's Our little dog Milo had his very first Puppy-chino here and he loved it.

We were in Llandudno for a few days and this lovely cafe became our default go to for breakfast/lunch while we were there. The menu has options for gluten free/wheat free/celiac on just about everything which was an instant win for my other half. Over our time there we had breakfasts, rarebit, sandwiches, cakes and an afternoon tea. The food is lovely, tasty, fresh home cooked and well presented. Its a family owned place and the owner and her daughter and everyone else who works there are friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed too. If you are in Llandudno looking for a cafe, dont bother with the large overpriced and lower standard cafes on the high street, go round the corner and go here. Its the better choice by far. We will be back in Llandudno a number of times over the next 12 months, and apart from when they are closed for the winter break, this will be our default breakfast/lunch location.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea catching up with special family and friends. Food was great and the scone and jam and clotted cream was wonderful

Called in today for a quick lunch. Assistant was surly when taking the order. Soup was served cold. No apology given. Bowl whipped away microwaved to death and returned still with no apology. 'Ham' sandwich should really have been advertised as spam. Advertised as dog friendly for well behaved dogs but continual yaps from under the table next to us throughout the meal didn't help the ambiance. We're they having a particularly bad day?

Excellent choice of breakfast items, including vegetarian. Food was very tasty and freshly cooked. Staff very friendly and helpful. We could take our dog inside, which was helpful on a wet morning and there are dog treats to buy. Water for the dogs is also placed outside. We visited several times during our stay as felt very welcome here. Would recommend to all.

We come here every year as our little boys love The lemon tree. food is fantastic staff are all lovely and friendly and the cakes are super yummy. Five stars from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food was OK and a great place if you like to be made to feel like a liar. Two scones ordered only got one and when queried it was a great debate. The asked for extra butter which was literally thrown onto the table by the most misersblest waitress ever. What happened to customer service!!!

Chose this cafe for a desert on a day trip to Llandudno, ordered tea and cream scones x 2 and milkshake and lemon meringue pie for the kids The scones were dry and stale and had a funny taste to them so we didn't eat them, when we were leaving we informed the manager of this who basically dismissed me and said he'd sold about 50 that day with no complaints. The crockery was awful with unclean cutlery and my son found a hair in his milkshake, I would avoid, extremely poor quality food and bad customer service.

On the visits prior to this one in question I would have given them 5 stars but our last visit left me disappointed. Husband ordered ultimate bap and was very pleased. I ordered jacket potato with cheese and red onion but when it arrived it was cheese and baked beans. I explained order was wrong (I don't like beans) and it was taken away only to be brought back with the comment that I "could either have that or wait about a quarter of an hour for the cheese and onion." No choice really but to wait. As it happened the correct order arrived in a little over 5 minutes but it meant my husband ate on his own as did I. Also, my husband noticed his elbows, which he had placed on the table, were dirty. He told the staff as we were leaving and they did say they would give the table a thorough cleaning, but it shouldn't have been like that in the first place. On the plus side, dog friendly and as we have always enjoyed previous visits we will give them the benefit of the doubt and visit again on our next visit to Llandudno.

Nice quirky decorated restaurant shame the staff are miserable and the food was a disaster. We ordered an afternoon tea for two. The counter staff were friendly. Howlever when our food arrived they were thrown on the table by a waitress with a face on her that looked like she had just been slapped without even saying a word. We were meant to have three types of finger sandwiches. What we got were 3 sandwiches cut into quarters and literally thrown on the top tier. So all the fillings were taking it. The cheese and tomato used the cheapest ready grated packet cheese your could buy that tastes like rubber not cheese. The egg mayo came with a bonus a massive long silver hair sticking out of two of the quarters. The tuna was more mayo than tuna. We had three cakes between us. The egg custard was old flavourless and stale. The napoleon style slice was OK but not fresh. The toffee and banana cake was the one nice thing. As for the home made scones one was undercooked to the point it was raw and the other was raw in a few spots as well and stale. Not one did anyone come to check if we wanted more tea or to ask how the food was. This was all for a price of £29.95 which would have been fair for a good quality afternoon tea. However for what we received this was a joke price.

Wish I hadn't bothered ordering food after asking an emplyee to point me in the direction of the toilet after ordering food, to be told they were out of order. The girl told me to go round the corner to some centre...as a visiting tourist, how am I meant to know where to go? By the time I found a toilet my food had been out on my table, so I arrived to a cold jacket potato and cold coffee...very poor service and notice of toilet should have been placed outside to oncoming customers to avoid and go elsewhere. Upon ordering my food a young girl who looked as though she was training wore long fake nails!! This is against food health and safety standards! The owner should know better to inform her staff on this regulation!

Service without a smile - lady taking our order was quite terse. Ordered 2 Welsh Rarebits, which arrived one undercooked and one with burnt patches. Decent sized teapot but with one weak teabag… resulted in horrible watery tea. Watery coffee too. Overall, disappointing.

Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable about coeliacs . We had a nice light lunch which included a lovely gluten free toasted sandwich.

My wife and myself are currently holidaying in Llandudno and whilst there are certainly no shortage of local Cafes & Restaurants, finding a good one can be challenging! In this regard, I use the range and quality of ‘homemade’ cakes as a good indicator and this certainly proved the case with The Lemon Tree Tea Rooms where we have now had two Afternoon Teas. Not only has the quality of the food (as well as the Coffee & Teas) proved excellent but - and unlike a number of other recent reviewers - so has the service. As such, we will be paying a further visit (or two) to The Lemon Tree Tea Rooms and would have no problem in recommending others to do so.

Dog friendly, outdoor and indoor tables. Good range of food from snacks to sandwiches. Watch out for low diving seagulls if you're sitting outside.

I don’t often feel the need to leave a negative review but sadly here it is. We arrived just before 4.00 for a cuppa and a cake. There was a limited range of cakes left so I went for a jam and cream scone and my sister for lemon meringue pie. Unfortunately both my sister and another customer were later told that the pie was still frozen and was for the next day. We suspected that they wanted to leave it uncut for the following day. There was nothing else that my sister liked so she got a refund, my scone was large and mediocre and the jar of cream still partially frozen. The latte was also mediocre, had we known about the pie when we were ordering we would have left. I understand that if the cafe closes at 5.00 then you need to start preparing but the smell of bleach was quite off putting.

Had a day out in Llandudno found this tea room .we ordered 2 full English breakfast food was on table in 5min The food was all top quality food excellent food and excellent service then my partner had a peace of home made cake would recommend to try it from tea to main meal excellent place to try excellent food

What an absolute brilliant place to eat the food was really nice. I had the Welsh rarebit and omg I’ve never had it taste so good. I will be back when I’m next in Llandudno. When I was there they had the mad hatters tea party so people were dressed up which was fun. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Lemon Tree was a real find in Llandudno. Lovely toasties, great tea in quirky pots and - most importantly - kind, friendly and welcoming staff. Great all around and we shall definitely be back.

This is a lovely casual place to have lunch or brunch or breakfast. The food options were great. The food was delicious. The casual setup and laid back vibe worked really well. The service was friendly. They have outdoors and indoors seating. This is around the corner from the shore. Definitely check this place out!

Saturday food and service was great, as always. Today, 4th July, service was very poor. No atmosphere, curt replies from the lady serving. Shame about the decline. Hesitant about ever returning.

We popped in on a Friday and Saturday afternoon. Busy place but orders were fulfilled quickly enough. Simple dishes - toasties, BLT - were fine. Had to remind staff to bring our drinks but no problems with the response.

Pie and chips are only average. Cheap fries not chips and pie were soggy. If I had tea and cakes it may have been a five.

Thought we’d try here for lunch wish we hadn’t bothered , we ordered the jacket potato with homemade curry , really small jacket potato with a couple of spoons of lukewarm curry cost us almost £18 !!! Poor quality very overpriced food will not be...

We had such a lovely lunch at The Lemon Tree! A fab cooked breakfast shared with my 11 month old. He thoroughly enjoyed it and a delicious club sandwich. The staff were really friendly. A little disappointed with the lack of baby change. Maybe get something small for one of the cubicles. Didn't stop us eating there and certainly wouldn't now we know how yummy the food is! I went to the lemon tree and had buck rarebit and a cappuccino it was burnt to a crisp and tasted stale was not enjoyable at all the coffee tasted like the milk used was off , the tables were filthy and the vinegar bottles...

The chef was rude to us and muttered something under his breath which sounded rude and offensive . We didn't make a fuss and just left. Wouldn't return

Wouldn’t waste my money again!! Had a lovely visit to the town to be so let down in this place. Food was cold and was applaud my the rude chef named Mike who was shouting at customers due to the food being cold!! Very unprofessional....

Visited the lemon tree tea rooms and I went for the eggs benedict there was a long grey hair in my hollandaise sauce to which I complained to the older lady who was manager she didn't seem bothered atall it was very disappointing, the toilets were not fit for use and I had to use one elsewhere, I will not be visiting again.
