Realmente disfrutamos del servicio amable y el ambiente agradable. Excelente fettuccini de gambas rey como plato principal, y paté de hígado de pollo sabroso y muy bien presentado como entrante. Muy recomendable.

El hotel está vinculado a este restaurante. El menú es variado y también hay dos especiales en el menú diario. La comida está bien presentada y recién preparada. Tenían un menú de tapas hasta hace unas pocas semanas que se echa de menos. El personal es agradable y atento. . . También tienen una buena variedad de vinos y cervezas.

Pasé por Molly's Bar y decidí entrar. Ambiente y personal encantador. La comida era muy buena y una excelente relación calidad-precio un amplio y variado menú. Vale la pena una visita.

I dined at this restaurant twice and truly enjoyed both of the meals I had there. The menu offers the typical fare that one would expect in a pub or bistro. I had fish twice, as Aberdeen is right on the coast, and wasn't disappointed. The servers were friendly and professional; the dining space and bar are nicely appointed. The location is also very convenient to the main commercial area.

We visited mollys last week , we loved it! The staff were friendly and very efficient , the food was brilliant ,I went for the hand crushed beef and black pudding burger? Not sure if I've named it right , but it had blue cheese on top and was really juicy and tasty , I could tell it was hand made , I also must mention how good the salad dressing was , honey and mustard I believe? My friends had a combination of baked potatoes and Pannini's and they said they were lovely , one also had the Cullen which he said was second to none. The after dinner coffees were also very good and my husband claims the beer "with the green label "was very good. So if your in the area it's well worth a visit top marks from us. Cheers

Attached to the Aberdeen Douglas Hotel, this restaurant was a convenient place to eat. Food was of good quality as was service.

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour déjeuner. Les plats sont plutôt bons et généreux. Les tarifs restent corrects. Il y avait peu de monde lors de notre visite. Le service était donc rapide.

Приехали в отель к которому примыкает данный бар около 10 вечера, так что других вариантов не было. В принципе съедобно, но без изысков. Утинная ножка, сибас, два гиннеса, бокал пино гриджио (так себе) и амаретто (очень скромная доза, даже лед не покрывает) обошлись в 54 фунта.

Good menu and good quality food. Very pleasant staff. We had a very nicelunch and we were happy we went in there as we passed through Aberdeen.

First impressions are sometimes misleading, and this is a fact for me in this place. Staying at a nearby hotel, I strolled down the road, and walked in. YES… the first impression was good, due to the warm décor, but then things turned the other way. This was my experience: POSITIVE POINTS: Walking through the door, I was pleasantly surprised by a good looking, modern, clean and well decorated place. I immediately got a good feeling about this place, and sat myself at the table. I must say that the staff is professional and friendly, so an asset to this place without a doubt in my mind. To sum up this place, it is called a “bistro”, which means simple food, based on the Parisian lifestyle. OK… there is simple food, that is true, but this is in fact more of a “bar-food” type place, with no referrence to Parisian type food. Nevertheless, good enough for me, since I wanted a quick good meal… not bothered with this detail. Service was reasonably fast, so no complaints in this area. I must admit that they do have a decent choice of drinks. NEGATIVE POINTS: This is where I lose points in my rating. The menu arrived. Appalling look to the menu… old, bent, shabby, and dirty. Not a good sign to give customers at all. I was in a hurry, so kept things simple, and ordered the “Molly Burger”. What a disappointment!!! When it arrived, presentation was reasonable. BUT… yes, there is a but, and this is where it goes downhill. First of all, the bun is that type that you can buy in a supermarket. Not what you expect from a restaurant. The meat was overcooked, slightly burned. Worse of all, it was completely dry, bland, basic and absolutely no taste to it at all. What a HUGE disappointment for a simple burger. The fries were OK, but the burger was dreadful. Swallowed, YES, but with help of a couple of nice glasses of wine. SUMMING UP: I walked in with a good feeling, and sat at the table in a NICE restaurant. However, when the menu came, that lost me completely. I give this place 3 point rating… since the décor and feeling in the place is good… losing two points due to the quality of everything else. I must say that pricing is reasonable for BAR food… but taking into account the quality of the burger, I would suggest that you go to Burger King or McDonalds. Not worth it in this place.

We were a party of 9 for lunch who had not booked in advance, no trouble to the helpful staff. An excellent choice from the menu and the special of the day. Traditional dishes to a roast dinner, all served hot and generous portions.

Adjoined to the Aberdeen Douglas hotel, there is a slightly dated feel to the restaurant. The food is restaurant quality, nicely cooked and well presented. Meals start around £13 to £20 plus for the steak.

I have visited Molly's on many occasions over the last number of years. Every occasion the staff, food and staff have been exemplary. The staff are always happy to please and always go out of their way to help. Top Marks

Haven't been in Molly's for a wee while but my partner and I decided to go for a Saturday night meal recently. As usual we pre booked and requested our favourite table which was not a problem for the staff. We were greeted as usual by friendly attentive staff and shown straight away to our table. Looking through the menu my partner opted for the Irish stew with mashed tatties and veg and I opted for the chicken with haggis, veg and a leek and potato sauce, I being of sweet tooth opted for the White chocolate and lemon curd cheesecake with raspberry ice cream and chocolate sticks with raspberries and jus. We cannot fault Molly's and will be back soon. Thank you.

Auf der Suche nach einer Lokalität zum Dinner an einem Samstag Abend (ohne laute Musik & Party!) führte uns der Zufall in Molly's Bar. Die Burger waren einwandfrei, aber auch nichts besonderes für den Preis (14£ aufwärts). Das Personal War wirklich sehr freundlich & das Essen kam zügig. Alles in allem kann man sich nicht beschweren, eine kulinarische Erleuchtung War es allerdings nicht.

Been to Molly's a few times now & I love it!! One of my favourite places. Always exceptional quality of food, some say but pricey for lunch - I say you pay for what you get :) Highly recommended

Went here 2 nights in a row and both times everything was very nice .. Starters amazing ..carrot and orange soup .. Pasta on the first night and steaks on our second night.. Staff very nice and polite ..)) Great

Had Christmas lunch at Molly's turkey and ice cream, excellent, the turkey was plentiful fresh veg and roast potatoes very well presented was too full for Christmas pudding although one of my friends had it and it did look beautiful. Staff were attentive and friendly and although freezing outside it was cosy inside. Have been to Molly's a few times and have never been disappointed.Is also near the bus station for anyone doing shopping then want something to eat before going home.

So last minute booked a room at the Douglas hotel for the night of my 30th birthday party. That afternoon quickly booked a meal here for me, my boyfriend and 5 of our friends. Food was good, I had no complaints. As a complete surprise my boyfriend proposed! The manager very quickly appeared with 2 mini bottles of prosecco and a dessert saying congratulations and were so so nice. Thanks so much it was a complete whirlwind as we had to rush out to make my party but the staff were so lovely!

Great location friendly staff bit dated inside and smelled of food cooking greasy type but clean food good size portions and varies menu steak was good and vegi options too chips so disappointing great selection of wines reasonable prices recommend more pub style

Went for supper as staying at hotel and resurant looked very nice and inviting. Food was average, but nothing special. Staff very friendly. Menu looked fab but picked one of the specials. Can't say i would return there for food.

My wife, my son and myself called here for lunch while on holiday. Beautifully presented restaurant part of Douglas Hotel. Very good varied menu and meals arrived looking lovely. Although I enjoyed my burger etc thoroughly my wife and son found their meals rather bland and tasteless. I'm sure better value could have been found elsewhere. I would not rule it out completely and may give it another chance next time I'm in Aberdeen as it is such a nice restaurant.

I have previously given Molly's a glowing review. We ate there the night before our wedding in The Douglas Hotel and have been back many times. They are great with kids and the haddock risotto and Irish Stew were great dishes. However the last twice I have been in has not been as good and today was very disappointing. The menu has changed and I expect the chef has too. The staff are very friendly and it's a lovely venue to sit in. However today we waited 40 mins for food despite being one of only 2 tables in restaurant. They then said to my mum "sorry your's will be a bit longer". It came out 15 mins after everything else! They did take her burger off the bill to be fair and the manager was very apologetic. Sadly the food was very poor. A lot appeared pre prepared and then clearly Microwaved - The waitress told us to "watch the boiling hot plates". I thought that was especially poor as the 2 kids meals were for my daughter and niece who are aged under 2 and 10, not really safe to place such hot plates on front of the them. My other niece had macaroni and it was very bland. I know that to be the case as I have ordered it previously and been disappointed!. Then as we left a waitress rushed over to say they forgotten to put a £1.50 Fanta on the bill. My Mum had left a tip despite everything as the waiting staff were very nice, which obviously covered the drink. However she was so surprised that she paid the £1.50 for the Fanta too. The other table said "We'd given up hope!" When their food arrived after ours, they ordered before. It was a shame. Used to really like there for food but after a change of menu, and chef for the worse and I won't be back

firstly we had a lovely welcome when we arrived at Molly's we did not book but a table of five was no problem for the staff they pushed two together for us, the staff are very friendly and nothing was difficult for them, the food was delicious apart from my mums meat which she did not like but this was due to her taste and not what was put on the plate, the Irish lady came over to apologise and said she would take it of our bill this was excellent service as she did not have to do this we were very impressed and will happily return next time we are in Aberdeen.As a family we eat out a lot in Inverness and Aberdeen and this was one of the best service/meals we have had. Highly recommended.

As a regular visitor to Molly's,I have nothing but praise for this place.The menu is wide ranging and the portions are very generous.The staff are friendly and happy to accommodate any/all dietary requirements.The decor is modern and the layout allows for comfortable dining even when busy.

To celebrate one of my work mates retiring a numbber of us had lunch in Mollys Bistro.All the food and drink was pre ordered. Service was quick and professionalAll of us enjoyed our different main courses. Tasty and hot.No complaints. My burger was particularly good.We will def be back again.

As guests at the hotel Of Aberdeen Douglas, it was lovely to just be up the stairs from the Bistro, Great Food, Very Modern and friendly staff. Lovely little place to eat.

I have been going here for years and recommending it to others but on my last occassion I was very dissapointed. The chicken was not cooked properlyand we brought this to the attention of the manager she dismissed it even although it was visibly not cooked.

I stumbled across Molly's while looking for somewhere for lunch and was happy with my find. Nice food, attentive staff and pleasant enough surroundings.

Came early à thursday night. Empty thé first hour. Very friendly staff. Food was very good but not excellent. Reasonably priced. Stayed in the hotel so IT was very convenient..

We were due to go to Union Square to eat but the car park was full so we chose to go to Molly's instead. A serendipitous find - we could not fault the place. It had a good choice of meal and even a turkey Sunday special. No waiting around for service, everything was timed to perfection. The meals were great, plentiful and reasonably priced. Next time, even when there is parking at Union Square, we will head across to Molly's Bistro.

Good choice on menu (a bit of everything, from burgers to more classiers/unusual dishes), good quality food, professional service, nice quiet atmosphere. All in all, everything is was good.

Was for lunch with my wife and friends last week ( my second visit ). This is a very stylish restaurant tucked/hidden away inside the lovely Douglas Hotel. The Menue :Plenty choice, very good food, generous helpings at sensible prices. The staff and service was first class and we look forward to returning. I would highly recommend this lovely restaurant bar.

We've walked by this restaurant on many occasions but never taken much notice of it as, from the outside, it's one of those places that just doesn't catch your eye.I'm glad we took a chance and popped our heads in though as the interior is really nice and staff are very friendly and welcoming We ended up staying for a couple of hours and having a full 3 course lunch with drinks. The food was lovely and well worth the money. Burgers, in particular, were delicious. The restaurant serves lunch from 11.30 till 5pm and then the menu changes to the more extensive evening version. Staff were all very efficient and attentive. Particularly worth a mention are Sebastian and I think the young lady's name was Rosalita ( both excellent waiting staff ). We felt able to relax and enjoy our meal without being rushed at all. It was relatively quiet when we arrived though a large table of around a dozen ladies were just leaving. However, by the time we left 2 hours later it was coming up to peak eating time so the bistro was filling up quickly.We loved it and will return for sure.

I ate here with my other half in August 2014 after a recommendation from a friend, its not somewhere I would have thought to eat as I don’t believe the hotel gets great reviews. The food was fantastic! I had muscles in a coconut & chili broth, while my partner had the soup - both delicious. For our mains I had the mushroom risotto and my partner had a steak both were really lovely.I would highly recommend Molly's restaurant and will definitely return. The service was also perfect. Highly rated! would have given it an excellent rating.

We went here a couple of times to eat at lunch time and the meals were very tasty. The restaurant's location good if you like to shop or else you are doing business in the center of mass.

After eating here during my last stay at the Douglas Hotel I had high hopes that it would rescue me from yet another terrible stay there... and it did.Just like last time the staff were very friendly, even when we asked to be seated as a single larger group. The food arrived quickly and was excellent! This place has the portion sizes just right too. Thanks again for a great evening

I have eaten here on numerous occasions, and never once have I had anything negative to report. We returned at the weekend for a meal as a group of friends and once again, it was great. The food was fantastic, the service was flawless and the wine was flowing!!! A special mention to our waiter, who saw that we were sat waiting for our friends to arrive, and organised freshly made poppadoms to keep us going - they were delicious!!!!

On our honeymoon in Aberdeen consisted of various visits to restaurants and bars. Don't know if the British customer service is usually not that hasty but as we entered the Molly's, we were noticed and served instantly. The staff was most friendly and the food was fantastic (we had the mussels&goat cheese salad for starters and Irish stew& Pork belly for main courses). Since we were most satisfied to our stay in Scotland, we'll definitely pay another visit to the Highlands in near future. And as we do, we'll also visit Molly's at Aberdeen.Thank you!

I went to Molly's 2 days in a row this weekend while visiting from out of town.The food is AMAZING! The jerk chicken burger is incredible as was the chilli bowl.The staff were also very friendly & accommodating. Highly recommended.

We unexpectedly ended up eating out at Molly's and was so glad we did as the meals were delicious and very filling. I felt that the price was very reasonable for a restaurant in Aberdeen city centre which is also located in a top rated hotel. Will def be revisiting soon.

Have eaten here every night for the last week as I have been staying at the hotel, so have had a variety of meals from the menu which have varied from good to very good. Based on the food alone this would have been a 4 star (circle) rating, but the staff make it a 5.Combined with a really good wine list, good location and pleasant atmosphere this could be a truly great restaurant if only there was a little more fresh food and a bit less of the frozen chips with everything. If you are unlucky enough to be in Aberdeen then dinner here will make everything seem a little less grey.

I used this restaurant several times during a visit to Aberdeen in November as I was staying in the Douglas Hotel. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, and my one lasting memory was the Burger, which I found to be excellent. I couldn't fault any of the food that I had during the 4 days that I was there.

We had our staff xmas night out ,at Mollies, all staff had their meal served I had to wait a while for mine , in the meantime I was given a pot of tea ,Catherine the lovely manageress,came to apologise for my delay,and did not charge for my tea or main meal,that was very good of her to do so, it showed she has excellent managerial, and customer care skills,she done a very good job, everybody was pleased with the food and her service, so I wouldcome again .many thanks.

16 people in our party enjoyed a lovely lunch in Molly's Bar recently. The well cooked and presented food was complimented by the lovely Catherine Shaughnessyand her ever cheerful and helpful staff. who made this an event to be remembered by everyone present. This place is also very reasonably priced in relation to eating in the centre of Aberdeen. Its location is also very convenient for the railway and bus stations. Well worth a visit if visiting Aberdeen.

2nd lunchtime visit here and can't fault a thing. Staff very welcoming and efficient. Service quick. Food lovely and portions huge. Prices average for Aberdeen. Fair choice on menu but could possibly do with a few more or perhaps more specials each day. Saying that this is a nice place to eat. Lovely surroundings, clean and well worth a visit. They also do a loyalty card which which entitles you to freebies the more you visit. Looking forward to our next meal there.

I had a couple of hours to kill in Aberdeen before catching a train and saw the hotel and asked if I could have a cup of tea. They directed me next door to Molly's bar/bistro.It had a really nice ambience and after a while I decided I had just enough time to have my tea before catching the train.I ordered a prawn stir fry which was very disappointing. There was a good helping of prawns but the food was not well cooked and it was very plain tasting. Now perhaps it is really a question of preference because the food wasn't awful but I am afraid it did nothing for me. I didn't have time to ask for something different because I had to go for the train.If I was likely to go back to Aberdeen I might give it another try.

Spent a rainy day in Aberdeen, and Molly's Bar was within a stone's throw of the Maritime Museum and looked like a good spot for lunch. Attached to the Douglas Hotel, the bar was very stylish - so nice that I thought twice about taking our horde of youngsters, but they were made most welcome. Food was OK, but pretty average choice. Service was very friendly and efficient.

Having used this restaurant twice while staying at the Douglas Hotel I must say the second time was better than the first. The first time I had the pork loin. This was a dry piece of meat, with dry black pudding, and the mash had a crust almost as if it been sitting on the plate for a while! A proper sauce rather than the apple sauce that comes with it would be nice. On the second visit I had the special Chargrilled chicken with a creamy sweet chilli sauce. This was a very good choice. Moist chicken, and the sauce was lovely! One minor complaint about the menu, the choice of starters could be slightly broader, one too many fish dishes are on it!

Was off to a bad start straight off.I checked into the next door Douglas Hotel 9.30pm as my train had been delayed, so ended up sitting down at a table around 10pm. I was under the impression that the restaurant was open later than that, but the waitress informed me that it was actually just about to shut for the night.I managed to convince her that I was just after a quick snack, so ordered the sharing nachos - but as a single portion.Considering the kitchen was probably already closed the food turned up really quickly and was of top quality. I was impressed with how good it was and how large the portion was for a single!Staff here a bit strange. The waitress I was dealing with was fantastic, really friendly and attentive... but another waitress would hover in the doorway, move things about and I noticed her giving me a very scowling look a couple of times. Very strange!

Visited on st Patrick's day with a table for 10. We opted for the Sunday carvery. It's was very well priced, the lamb casserole was delicious. The service was warm and welcoming, and they were very tolerant of the children. A good experience, will be returning

We stayed at the Douglas for a week,in our room the info said the hours of operation mon to sat were 11 am till 24:00,so we went to eat at 10 pm only to be told they were closing even though the rooms have them advertised as being open till 12!

This is the second time I've eaten at Mollys Bar, due to staying at the attached Douglas Hotel, and the second time I've been very disappointed with the food. I had the beef and ale pie, and although it looked nice, the beef was very, very fatty. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anybody.

having been in now well lets say 10+ times I have never been disappointed with the service or food I have received. The staff have always been helpful and friendly even more than understanding on occasion. I would with adults with learning difficulty's and I have never felt that the safe have been anything less then caring with them always making sure their needs are met. I have also been in with my son who is 2 and they helped with doors when I was trying to get in with a pram to say I am a little in love with Molly's is possibly an understatement keep up the wonderful work and I hope to be in again soon..

Great food, service is good and the atmosphere is chilled. will definitely return! I had the steak sandwich, minus mushrooms as i'm fussy! which was no problem at all! Maire i believe was the manageress name this young lady was a delight and so helpful!

What a pleasant surprise! Good food, very reasonably prices, lovely staff. They were even turning people away as there were no tables left. Lovely toilets too!

Having dined at Molly's previously, we expected a good, hearty meal. My husband had fish and chips which can't usually go wrong,,at £11 hopefully not , it was ok,,, my choice of pork chop with black pudding,,,,,came served on a square plate,, one average sized pork chop, black pudding slice and about three minuscule spuds worth of mash,,,, no veg,,, £12, robbery,, I was depressed...I'm not greedy but I have near seen a better furnished mousetrap,,credit crunch or not ,,It was SOOOO miserly,,what price carrots/neeps they grow bonny here

Heard nice comments about molly's so decided to give it a try one saturday lunch time along with my wie & 2 freinds . Very good menu couldn't decide what to have so I plummed for 2 starters Yellow pea soup & Stovies & oat cakes soup was lovely just like home made then the Stovies same again home made the presentationwas great my wife & freinds they also had the soup & no complaints my wife & her freind both had a wrap which they enjoyed & my mate he had fish & chips lovely crispy batter great he said . Service was good & helpful as about the recipe for the soup the manageress went & got recipe from the chef no problems will be back but will try a evening meal next (will keep you informed)

We arranged a group lunch in Molly's bar and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely place, warm welcome and excellent food served. In Aberdeen terms the prices were very reasonable too.It is part of the Douglas Hotel, which looks a very appealing city centre establishment.
