The fish are extremely large and even a cone of chips is quite enough for one. the fish is excellent quality and the staff extremely friendly.

If you want proper “chippy chips” then this is the place to go to. Their mini fish is not so mini more like massive - some chip shops this would be a “normal” size fish. Everything about the place is brill. The quality, quantity and taste is amazing and service with a smile (lovely ladies they are, and don't forget the owner, he’s lovely too). Starting visiting this chippy now on a regular basis ,the fish is cooked to order even the small fish is large ,plenty of chips even with the smallest portion ,the staff are very friendly used to do my own fish and chips at home but with the price and quality from the shop it is not worth it

Rang and placed an order for 3 x Meal Deals ! Was told it would be ready inside 10 minutes, just enough time for the fresh fish to be cooked. The quality of thr frash cooked fish and chips was excellent. Well Priced and Friendly Staff too.

As title says nice chips I think best in shirebrook friendly staff .good value for money saying that fish prices have gone silly ,plenty of other things not just fish n chips

this far the best chippy ever the food is great taste great always cooked well the fish always fresh the curry is amazing everything is good from here just taste like Skegness chips the best will not go anywhere else for my chippy dinner

A great chippy where they freshly cook your fish to order so sometimes on the quieter times you may have to wait but trust me they are well worth waiting for. The Fish are large and the quality is top class Great chips and large portions at a reasonable price. They also do kebabs & chicken kababs pies etc We love the Fish Chips peas and gravy so much have not tried the other foods on offer but from what we have seen it all looks great.

This chip shop is in my opinion the best locally , nothing is too much trouble , reasonably priced and delicious . So glad it changed hands

Visited model chippy to give it a try and it was ok the fish was great with a lovely crisoy batter and it wasn't greasy which you sometimes get the peas were spot on but what let me down slightly was the chips,don't get me wrong they were nice but there was a lot of grease coming through the paper which then made the chips greasy,apart from that still ate everything . Thats the reason for a4 star instead of a 5,so go on try for yourself and see what you think.

Proper Chippy, Whopping fishes cooked to order, chips done right, peas, curry & gravy are spot on. brilliant value for money. friendly staff. This chippy delivers to your door piping hot, just plate and enjoy.

Only been in once and I totally regret spending my money, service brilliant but the food was descuting my chicken burger was way over cooked was like eating cardboard they used a bread roll instead of a burger bun and bagged my chips up way before my burger was even cooked I work the in the top fish and chip shop in Mansfield and its nothing compere to this and they had no manager or boss in grate way to run a shop wouldn't go there again

its great chippy food at reasonable prices for the area the staff are freindly and helpful and the meats are nice,when you want a chippy its one to think about
