Not the cheapest. But nice place and plenty of drinks on offer

Called in yesterday.. Firstly, everyone complaining about portion sizes, it is Tapas, your generally meant to order lots!! Food was immaculately presented, and very nice. Nice to see some decent ale on the bar, and a nice Porter, instead of the usual rubbish that other establishments sell.. All in all, enjoyed it,and would go again.

Really unusual menu. Tapas style but the variety was great. From steak to cheese. Great staff and the atmosphere was relaxed and lively!!

Had a wonderful evening here. Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with top notch service. As for the tapas, the menu was broad and interesting. Each dish was perfectly prepared and presented and each one tasted exceptional. If you don't want a meal, you could just go for drinks - they have a really great choice on offer and mix some fantastic cocktails!

Wonderful food and helpful, friendly staff. Only gave 4 for atmosphere as we were in as it opened at 2pm so it was very quiet, I'm sure it's a 5 in the evening.

Rip off. £6 for four pigs in blankets, £6 for green peppers dipped in salt and £3 for freezer to fryer chips . All in all beer / wine good . Yorkshire Tapas or has the menu says bar menu a rip off . Owner justified it by saying it’s all local sourced produce . Only problem with that is the menu doesn’t say who provides what .

Was recommended by a friend. Food was tasty but very expensive for what it is, which is why I wouldn't go back. The main lady working was lovely and seemed relaxed and knew the menu well.

A weekend away, stumbled on Omni on the first night whilst out for a pint. Seemed to spend the best part of Saturday there. Warm welcome, wonderful food, great beer & fabulous atmosphere. Dog friendly, just ask Norman!

Dropped in for a light bite and had a couple of tapas each, a pudding accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine. You will find it hard to find a better tapas anywhere!

I really enjoyed all of the dishes and he friendly warm customer service. Seasoning is perfect, there are subtle flavours, nothing is powering, the main ingredients shine! I highly recommend you to go!

Great little gem. Staff were friendly, and the place had a good atmosphere.

We paid £3.50 for olives. We received 8 olives. So 44p per olive. The portion sizes of the chorizo and new potatoes were also tiny for the price. The staff were nice, the beer was good, the place was well looked after. But I'm not sure I've ever been so badly ripped off in my entire life.

The food is incredible! Gemma and staff are wonderful. (Also Norman the pooch 🥰🐶) A must visit! Eaten here a couple of times and the food is delicious. Warm butter bean salad, chorizo, the king prawns (side of bread is a must to mop up sauce, thanks to our waitress for this top tip), lamb, chicken sriracha, cauliflower fritters. Everything is excellent. Plus great options for all, meat, veggie and vegan!

It's probably one of the best tapes bars I have had the pleasure of visiting. Food was amazing, wine and beer choice excellent, and there hospitality brilliant (even though they wanted to keep the secret about the egg yoke). We will definitely be visiting Malton again just to eat and drink at this place as we want to definitely spend more time in that wonderfully chilled atmosphere. Until next xx

Really incredible food. Great range of tapas. Helps Malton live up to its 'food capital of Yorkshire' rep :) Have been twice now and would go again. Good choice of drinks, great playlist. Host was lovely on both occasions, warm and friendly - perfect. Highly recommended.

Nice bar with a chilled vibe, great selection of drinks and bar snacks. I cannot comment on the food as I did not dine for dinner however, it is the same owners as the New Malton and the food there was fantastic when I did dine some years back.

We really like this place we had food for the first time with friends at the weekend and were a little disappointed with the portion sizes. We understand tapas, but these are on the small side. So be prepared for this.

I came here for dinner and drinks one evening, having never been before, and was not disappointed! The atmosphere is lovely, very relaxed and welcoming. The food delicious and there was plenty of choice. I would definitely come here again and will be recommending to friends and family. Everything was perfect!

Our first time at this place, but not Malton, we booked for Christmas Eve lunch, it was fantastic, we loved the way it works, ordering different dishes, a bit like tapas, but better. The deep fried potatoes with chilli and parmesan were to die for,as was the swede and carrot puree, that doesn't sound exciting, but it's creamed, and fantastic. Another big plus for us that it's dog friendly,water and treats given on entry. The staff were great, very friendly, courteous, and helpful. We were on a short break over Christmas in Filey, which is an easy trip to Malton. We can't recommend this place highly enough, and can't wait to go back.👍

So enjoyed our meal here and the lovely welcoming staff Would highly recommend as a first rate menu providing a variety of cleverly made tasteful choices with a good range of vegetarian and vegan options as well as fish and meat courses and wine too Really loved the background music and how we were looked after as new to the town The lovely Manageress must be mentioned for her enthusiasm and attentiveness So sorry we missed her name but being from North Wales (Mold) made us feel even closer to home Keep up the great vibes Jon and Rachel Williams from Wrexham

Food was OK at best, I expected better quality for the price of the dishes. The mini toad in the hole could be better done at home using Asda own Yorkshire puddings and Richmond Sausages for a fraction of the price. This place isn't suitable for children at all, unless it's older children (borderline teen). Very pretentious atmosphere and doesn't seem fit in with the local area. The male server was very friendly and polite, the female server seemed disgusted that our child was with us.

Went for a drink been in about an hour and half then got told would have to move as the table was reserved. No one told us that when we went in this is the second time this as happened. There was 4of us so went somewhere else. Won't be going again

Great menu, with options for veggie/vegan diets too. Staff numbers seemed a bit low, as our server was a bit stressed but very kind and helpful nonetheless. Tasty food, fair value for money considering quality. Busy venue, but clean and good atmosphere. Would certainly recommend!

Friendly staff,nice pint of IPA and nice food .We had beef cheek,lemon chicken and sea bream small plates(tapas) as a snack. Very tasty

We had a really exceptional tapas here.

Small plates, absolutely delicious. Drinks option's good, music good. Staff so friendly and helpful. Could eat here several times a week and not get fed up with it. Do not miss this place out if you are in Malton .

Great little bar - an offshoot if you like to The New Malton so you know it's great food, lovely atmosphere & friendly staff. I sincerely hope all their hard work pays off.

Exceptional food and service experience All kicked off with a sublime cocktail followed by the most outstanding food Scallops cooked in chicken butter.OMG I could have bathed in that broth. Exquisite Slow cooked cheek. Off the scale. Cauliflower fritters. Beautiful This is some of the best food I have ever eaten. Service was 5 star. Venue is stunning and all in the beautiful town of Malton No winder it is called the Food Capital of Yorkshire

Really nice place. We called in on our way to Staithes. There was a very friendly woman behind the bar. The only slight drawback was the wait for any food as they were low on staff. So we did not bother ordering and just had a drink

Didn't take photos unfortunately as the food didn't last long enough to take any. This place is an absolute gem. To say 'what a find' is an understatement. Gemma and her team are great, super friendly and welcoming. So much incredible choice on the tapas menu and everything tasted even more incredible than it sounds. From the beef cheek to the Cauliflower cheese croquettes every single bite was full of flavour. Absolutely amazing. I can't wait to come back !

I have visited this new restaurant twice since it opened. We popped in for tapas after the cinema and I was so impressed I invited a friend for lunch the following Saturday. Both times the food was delicious and the staff are polite, nothing is too much trouble, and pleasant. I definitely recommend Omni and will be visiting again soon!

We visited this new restaurant/bar on a Friday night with our daughter and our dog. We were seated upstairs and although we did wait awhile we were served by a lovely young man called Sam. He apologised for the delay and got straight to the task of getting our drinks and food order as soon as possible. The menu was easy to understand and ordering was simple. We had a selection from most of the menu and we can say that everything we had was absolutely delicious. Very tasty and well presented. I have also to say that this is a newly opened restaurant and the decor and cleanliness was excellent. The atmosphere and the music they played was amazing a very enjoyable evening. If you are ever in malton it’s well worth a visit. Our best regards to Sam our waiter Sam he was a credit to the restaurant so a big thank you to him.
