Mk Buffet Village in Milton Keynes

I was food poising after 3 hours, spend 3 days in bed with pain and discomfort. Service charge added for NO service, never back again.

Food is average, service is good. Good variety of food options available.

Im MK Village you always find something nice to enjoy,the fresh pizza,kebap with fresh naan,calamari ring,lamb,chicken etc.The sweets are really nice,chocolate fountain with marshmallows in particular.

I’ve been in this restaurant a couple of times and everytime the employees come and disturb by asking for empty plates even when you are still eating and not even finished the food yet. They would come every few minutes which is unacceptable. When you need to them to get your plates they never come. They should let people eat in peace. Most of the stuff off the menu was missing. Food didn’t taste good, nuggets were raw and uncooked maybe they need to pay attention and cook food properly otherwise people will end up with some kind of disease. Pizza slices were bite size, maybe they should consider slicing it properly so that people can actually eat. Normal tap Water isn’t free it’s about £ 3,50 a jug and we were charged for it and wasn’t even aware about it, when I asked they ignored me. Employees don’t understand English when you try to speak to them. We do not recommend this place to other people and we won’t ever come to this restaurant. Very bad experience never again.

Honestly not great tbh . Buffet area is quite narrow and the food quality is not worth cost. Much of the food is not very hot temperature wise and overall poor .

We had a great experience, food excellent and very tasty. And great service from Neeraj,very cheerful young lady.

The staff were friendly and helpful. A few items on the menu were not available and some of the dishes did not seem fresh. Overall they have a wide variety of dishes from various cuisines, Indian being their forte. The lamb was cooked well but all the chicken dishes were overcooked. The Italian dishes were disappointing while the Chinese dishes fared well. The desserts were good and ended the meal on a high. I would not recommend anyone to go into this place with high hopes but going for the first time and given the price, it was a satisfactory experience. I hope they improve their food quality in the future.

Best Indian dish I ever had. Though other cuisine is average, but their Indian food has earned the 5 star from me. The lamb was the best.

I’ve been here a couple of times. The food was ok for what you are getting. The buffet is just overly too busy for how small the buffet area is, and you do feel like you are on top of people; it was a Saturday night, so I did expect it to be hectic after all they’ve needed to make money. The staff was all friendly, even if they seemed rushed off their feet trying to deal with everything. For the most part, the food was lovely and hot. However, like any buffet, food can run out quite quickly, but if you visit these types of places often, you normally understand that. The only issue we had was our bill being incorrect and having other people's drinks and food added to it. It was no big issue. After a few attempts at getting it correct, we paid. Just be mindful to check your bill, and remember, these places here are bustling and slightly crazy.

Food isn't bad for a buffet and the choice is fair but better in the evening but then the price goes up

Variety of food with good ambience really enjoyed

I went to MK buffet after some time yesterday with my family. This is by the worst buffet place I have ever eaten. The quality of the food and taste has drastically fallen since many years ago when it was called Red Hot Buffet. The meat quality is appalling and the taste is terrible. Please avoid this place if you want to enjoy a buffet.

All food was tasteless….. nothing was good

Vishal’s service was amazing. He took care of all of our needs and was very polite. His lamb chops were amazing. Will recommend.

Generally I always give restaurants the benefit of doubt. Everyone can have a bad day, but this is one restaurant we will not be going back to. Here are my reasons why, 1. Lift to the 1st floor only takes one person at a time 2. The restaurant was cold, despite having glow heaters around the area. 3. Does it actually hurt the staff to smile 😁 it is actually a service business. 4. The food was lukewarm, the sweet and sour chicken neither tasted sweet or sour. The Katusu chicken was dried out...and so on. 5. The handles on the entrance doors were help together with sticky tape. Now we might have gone on a bad day, it was a Friday and cold outside.

It was a great evening, we'll come again soon

Came for a family Friday lunch. Something for everyone, including the pickiest children in the world! Quick service to whip away used plates and yummy pancakes freshly made. We'll be back.

My evening was amazing, from walking into the restaurant and receiving the best customer service to the waiters/waitresses always making sure our guests were accommodated. Food was great, buffet had a lot of choices to choose from, and the drinks were very refreshing. Would definetly come again. If I had to mention anything, it would be that the toilets were looked into through the evening to keep the standard up.

Really good place to eat. Would recommend it to people. The only thing that puts me off big time is when other customers don't watch their kids with the food. The last time I went a parent was with their kid and their kid was half biting sweets and putting them back in the bowls and the parent just watched.

Came here on 8th November , 20 of us for a family meal . The food was tasteless and cold , it was absolute carnage trying to get your food as packed and everyone running around piling their plates up . It was like feeding time at the zoo ! There wasn’t enough staff and the desert choice was shocking , waited 15 minutes for some mediocre pasta and the duck was like cardboard! Don’t even get me started on the chow mein ! The worst one I’ve eaten in my life ,It literally tasted of nothing . food is located right beside the stinking dirty toilets and the whole place looks like it needs a good clean . Asked for the bill and they hadn’t taken off the £100 deposit I paid a week before (luckily I spotted it ) this is definitely not worth the money . Spend your money elsewhere ! Oh and to top it off half of us had bad belly after eating here .

I love the food. I think the price doesn’t do justice to the service and quality of food. Waaoooo an absolute great place for your everyday lunch or dining. My partner and I enjoyed the food and service. We even called the manager to compliment him and also wanted to buy shares. That should tell you how much we loved the place

Not a large selection of foods but most of the classic buffet items and the ones I tried were ok. Took a while to receive our drinks. Nothing special, just ok. Price is reasonable.

I went to this place on sunday the buffet costed me 20pounds and normally from monday to friday the buffet costs around 14 pounds per person and drinks menu was seperate As compared to many buffet places in uk this mk buffet was descent enough for the price they offer for the large varities of food Totally i enjoyed their food and live counters

Very nice restaurant with great food and in a good location

Always a bit apprehensive about buffet places as the food can be really hit and miss. Have walked past this many times over the years so took a chance (or pressured by my daughter!). To be honest, the food was really not bad at all. Good selection of Indian and Chinese food and you can have bbq food, pasta etc. cooked to order and it tasted good to me. Did get really busy though so you were jostling for position sometimes but that's to be expected. Overall, would go back.

Good value for money. Buffet isn't as big as one in Watford but the quality of food is very nice. Even if you book there can still be a wait to get in. Sometimes it takes a while for them to take the drinks order

The buffet has a nice spread with multiple options. Not bad for a family eat out when everyone's hungry.

The food in there is bad. The Indian food is so bad you can’t even eat it. The Chinese food selection is a joke. It’s not as bad but just couple of things in there to try. The only good thing in there is spring rolls. The price is not worth it!!!!

What a superb experience I had! The review score doesn’t do this place justice. Go and try it, the staff are friendly and kind, the restaurant is super clean too. I arrived bang on 5 for opening and have to say I was so impressed, every single item was stocked and piping hot and fresh. The individual tastes of each dish really stood out. The chargrill area produces some amazing lamb chops and burgers and the Chinese and Indian sections were incredibly well stocked and tasty. Highly recommended and I will be back for sure. Easy parking and great location. Thanks team.

Absolutely disgusting. Went there this evening family of four I couldn't bring myself to even put anything on my plate due to the hygiene of this place. My husband and daughters decided to give it ago and it was horrendous my husband tried 3 different types of meat and all was tasteles chewy and cold. One of my daughters could only manage a mouthful and it was absolutely disgusting. My other daughter tried the chicken and potato salad and she had to get rid of it into a napkin. We also had jug of tap water and I had to go and ask for clean glases the toilets was filfthy dread to think what the kitchen is like! Would really recommend not going hear unless you want to chance being poorly They should be closed down!! All of the food tins and tongs had stale food on along with the lids. My daughter found a hair around a lid with built up dirt that hadn't been cleaned for a while. Asked to speak to the manager as at this point I wasn't happy and not prepared to pay for food that could possibly make us all poorly he disagreed with me and told me he hasn't had any more complaints and it was just me being picky ! E h o need to get in there ASAP Stay away!

i booked a table for 10 but i had 1 extra person turn up and they were very busy but they manged to fit us all in.. fantastic service from all staff and food was amazing... so please thank all your staff for their hard work... i look forward to booking again with you.

I visit MK Buffet twice a week, and every time I go, I always enjoy the exceptional service from Neeraj. She understands my preferences without asking, as I prefer to eat in a quiet corner away from people. When she sees me, she happily finds a suitable spot, and her thoughtfulness always touches me in such a sweet way. It's these small gestures that keep me coming back!

First time coming to the buffet village and had thought it would be similar to the one where we live but wow!! Every dish was seasoned beautifully and the flavours were INCREDIBLE!! All dishes we tried (and many more we were too full for) were packed with flavour, nothing was dried out, the servers were wonderful and quick to help and making additional dishes. My personal favourite was the lamb rogan josh, delicious and the meat falls apart in your mouth. Hubby's favourite was the carbonara pasta (as they were out of spaghetti) which they made while he waited. Chunky pieces of bacon and the sauce being made in front of him purely for his choice. Both of us chose a large fizzy drink with our meals and total was just under £52. We highly recommend this place, just don't expect "typical" restaurant buffet as this is so much more. We will definitely be returning when next in MK.

35 minute wait for drinks, second drink didn't come. Plates so dirty I had to clean my hands after touching one. If you're reading this in 2025 they might have restocked the apple crumble.

Dined in for 2, dinner time. The food is overly oily and salty. The live cooking station for meat is the only decent part of the menu. Desserts are probably from Costco or something, they were not nice. The toilets were in such a state that was worried to catch something. Good service

Horrible experience, Dingey place, bad selection of foods that taste nothing like they should. Tables crammed in very close to others, we felt like we were in a dirty cafe. Absolute rip off, wouldn't even call it food. Wife and kids wanted to leave almost instantly (I wish we did)

Going downhill as can see. Food quality is poor. Food run out in many trays not topped up and staff don't care even after asking. I am not sure if I would call it worldbuffet, Asian fusion more like . And the cutlery was dirty. I would think twice before going there again.

The absolute worst food i have ever eaten in my life, out of date tesco sausage rolls covered in fungi are more appetising than their food. If Gordon Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares came here, they would suggest demolishing the entire place and firing every chef there. A pirate who’s blind and armless could probably cook better food using only his peg leg. If it turns out this is the real life version of the movie “Ratatouille” i’d prefer to grab the rat from their hat and eat that (uncooked as they’d find a way to make it taste even worse) despite all the diseases i would catch, at least it would taste better than their flavourless, watered down food with the worst texture ever. If anyone willingly goes here more than once, i believe it should be legally required to send them to shutter island, as not even The Joker would force this upon someone. Eating the food from here would arguably be worse than being a character in the saw franchise. One customer dropped one of the tongs on the floor and where then told to “Just put it back” so only god knows how much bacteria was in the food. The food was either extremely watery or dryer than the Sahara desert. The chocolate sauce would have tasted better if they removed it all together and used hp sauce instead. All this for over £20 per person, I believe someone should start a GoFundMe with the aim of compensating everyone that’s ever been here. Wish i could review negative stars as 1 star is too good of a review for this place.

Dropped tongs on the floor and was told to “just put it back”. No sense of cleanliness, and a proud scam. How do i know this? Upon being told it was absolutely disappointing our waiter’s face lit up like he’d heard the best news of his life, and looked like he was holding back a laugh while handing us our check for over £110 for 2 adults and 3 children. If you’re vegan, you could safely eat the pork ribs because of the fact there is practically no meat on there at all. The food honestly tasted like it was scraped from the bottom of a bin, and was flavourless and either extremely watery or dry. I felt like I was going to throw up after eating the food. Absolutely appalling, every good review on here was clearly either a bot account or one of the people working there. I truly believe this place deserves to get shut down. Not even the desert was good, the popcorn machine was practically empty, the marshmallows tasted like a squishy stress toy and the chocolate fountain tasted more like chocolate water than actual chocolate. The staff clearly enjoy scamming people with subpar food for an extortionate price and leaving everyone feeling depressed and soulless after eating their food. 0/10

Service was excellent, Appreciate the staff Neeraj(Girl). Atmosphere is good. Food not satisfied, if they reduce vinegar in all foods and Jeera in biryani will make it better. Tadoori's was dry and no spice. Overall one time visit place.

Visiting Mk Buffet tonight, food was nothing amazing in fact was pretty bland! Their website menu is a catfish its self compared to the variety of food available! Call themselves a “buffet” it’s more like an all you can eat Indian restaurant with some added extras. Over price massively for what it is, not worth £20 pp!! The thing that made me most disgusted was the staff, whilst there a gentleman took a funny turn and was needing medical assistance my partner helped him back to his seat and made sure he was okay. The lady he was with then came up to us before we left and told us that a staff member told her not to return to the restaurant again and how irresponsible she is to be bringing the gentleman out in public… this incident could’ve happened anywhere, anytime and to anyone! I think personally that is unprofessional and they should care more about their customers health than lecturing someone who cares for the gentleman! 2/10 wouldn’t waste your fuel or time on the place.

Me and my partner went for food tonight and had no problem. When getting food an old man took a bad turn. I helped the poor bloke and got him back to his feet and helped him to his table. He was very thankful and so was the women he was with. We finished up and went to say goodbye and wish him the best but then the women said she’s just been told that he’s not to return and it’s very unresponsible that she brought him to the restaurant as he caused a disturbance. I think it is disgusting that the staff have said this. Show some respect. I will not be returning. Disgraceful from the staff and food isn’t the best either.

Went for a meal with my Mrs and was more then disappointed with everything the food was tasteless and also had some undercooked chicken luckily I checked all before eating so didn't actual eat any of it and me and Mrs couldn't eat anything else after that This is the worse restaurant I have ever been to and would never return Staff unhelpful and rude and never good after a buffet that I needed to go get some food after leaving STAY AWAY. I visit this restaurant first time and this is the best restaurant I have ever see. I enjoyed the food and service. On top of that, I like the service of girl named Neeraj. She give the best service on time. Her communication skill was best.I really recommend to get service from her as well the restaurant.

Took my girlfriend as a birthday treat, staff have rude attitude towards customers and half of the dishes weren't put out and the ones that were tasted awful. Over cooked and dry with no flavour. My girlfriend woke up the next day with food poisoning. I WILL NOT be returning.

Not great food the selections were very poor indeed basically just Chinese and Indian!! the website looks so much better the menus online are completely wrong never again avoid! Not much for kids here avoid.

Staff were welcoming and the food was great! The burger station advertised on website wasn't running but we went on a Friday for my birthday, I assume that's probably just a weekend thing, however still a great selection of tasty fresh food! And the price was great. Will be returning

Had another night there second time in a row and i will say i enjoyed dine in there . I am amazed to see how people from differnt places and of different origin eating all together. Food is up to the mark and their mocktails are superb . Large variety of Non-veg menu and veg items. And got served by Neeraj and Sapna, very good and nice girls they are, both the girls made sure we are not short of anything. Went with my cousins and they loved this place . I would say 10 stars for service and food. Thanks to the chefs too for making good variety food.
