McDonald's in Milton Keynes

Very loud 🔊 and the seating were greasy 🤢 with chips scattered everywhere was not pleasant 👎when I went to the bathroom🚽 to see a mess of a toilet and looked like people had accidents on the floor 🫨🫨 the workers were very rude when I asked them why I waiting so long so I ordered again for an ice cream 🍨🍦🍨 and then the ice cream machine was broken. Very bad day for me and my kids. 😡😡😡

What's going on , muffin so small and looks like someone already took a bite out off it

The food is disgusting even for McD standards... The buns are hard as wood, the drinks are stale, the orders are not followed, a very disappointing experience in general and they are so incapable they should be illegal!

Is there a law saying workers not to wear gloves? But handle my burger with nongloves afterbl break! Disgusting

2024 update: visit with friend, where I ordered a vegan McPlant burger (made with pea protein) meal with fries and a coffee. All were great options to get, the flat white was excellent value for money. My meat-eating friend had a burger, with fries and a coffee. We were a bit puzzled that the meat burgers only came with cold drinks if you chose a meal. My friend ordered their burger, chips and drink separately so they could get a coffee too. We visited late, about 6 - 7 on a Friday. The shop itself seemed busy so I opted to eat in the almost empty food court area opposite. WARNING - the touch screen order points are still unreliable for physical order tickets. Always make a note of your Order No when it flashes up on screen, as you may not get a paper receipt. I've taken off one star for that, as it's a long standing but irritating issue. I know I'd be upset if I didn't know my order no because of that issue.

The worst Mcdonald's I've ever encountered in any country. While the food had a litany of errors and quality issues, the service from the supposed manager on duty is what really made the place terrible. The manager is clearly of the opinion that the customer is always wrong, that service should be slow, that food should be below Mcdonald's standard and generally that he would not live up to any of the requirements of a Mcdonald's site. My primary concerns were missing pickles on a burger and very small quantities of smarties on a flurry. On asking to confirm that there was the correct amount of smarties the manager immed became snarky and refused to even consider looking in to it or to actually look at the product. Filthy store, rubbish everywhere, bins out of service, bin juices dripped from one side to the other across the floor. All of that could possibly have been excused if the manager had even a vague understanding of customer service.

There is always a ridiculously long wait at this mcdonalds. Today I waited 20 minutes for a basic meal for 1, and this is a regular occurrence. Would love to see that change sometime soon.

A burger in a bun that doesn't look like a burger bun and the worst barbecue sauce I've ever eaten!!!

Not to do with the food etc but my husband applied for job and 20 minutes before the interview they cancelled it, we only noticed it after walking there. He found a better job in end but still. Not good regarding that.

The food was good but slow service It was busy, but the place looked understaffed for the lunch rush

So I brought a double cheese burger and while I was there waiting I kindly asked the manager to make sure my burger was cold as I’m pregnant and need to be careful, and when it comes to fast food I’m probably more paranoid then necessarily (first time mum) he said no worries and fast forward to me getting my meal. Guess what the burger was stone cold so I asked to get it back. I got my new burger and it had bacon in it and I can’t eat bacon so I asked them to send it back. I got my new burger and guess what it was stone cold again. This time the same manager came along and told me he wasn’t replacing the burger because it was hot so to prove a point I grab a bit of the meat and pinch it. Please tell me how I would be able to do that if the burger was hot like he was saying it was, just because the cheese was melted around the bum not on the meat of that makes sense. I was fighting saying it wasn’t hot and the security guard came in and said the same thing it was cold and to give me another burger the manager said I won’t be replacing any food or money due to her being an awkward customer I tried to explain to both of them that. Normally I don’t complain about McDonald’s because let’s face it you never get hot food, but due to being pregnant I have to be careful. There was a lot of back and forth saying the same thing, but I wasn’t getting anywhere apart from stressing me out and my baby so I just walked away paying £7 for chips and a drink. This is at the point McDonalds so just be careful

I was really disappointed with the service. I waited for my food for more than 15 minutes along with other customers. It seemed like my order was taken off the screen / system, probably to avoid recording the delay. This was definitely not a fast food experience.

Usual Maccies. Staff did a fantastic job coping with the rush.

Mcdonald is not good as time a go no good test in their fish tables, not clean its getting rubbish. Some Mcdonald people don't have recept when people order. Make sure you know your number on screen

This is one of the bad McDonalds. It was so busy when I came yesterday and waited ages for a simple order. The vegan burger was tasty but the chips were terrible and the portion size poor too. The drink was more ice than Fanta. The tables were all messy and the toilet is also out of action before 9am. Terrible.

All the tables were dirty and so was the floor. Nobody takes care of that restaurant and apparently they don't want people to dine in. At the robot where you order it always says take out only

App needed an update and did not work. No receipt from the machine. No help about.

Two counters to collect from. Quite hard to hear the numbers being called out when it's busy. Order was missing an item. Not enough screens to order from/some broken.

The dining area staffs were really annoying. She was sitting on the table and chatting with her colleague who was on break. She didn’t care about the customers sitting around her, there was other girl who was throwing the garbage bag on floor like nothing. The girls were eating food from their friend who was on her break. We were waiting for our table service for more than 20 minutes and finally had to go get ourselves (note that the restaurant was not busy)

The worst mcdonalds in the history of mcdonalds ordered my food freezing cold both burger and fries dont like complaining but dont like cold food either and complete lies yes you read that lies i also asked for strawberry milk shake here we go not available why i asked the lady said the macheine caught fire and we are wating on a part that was my order 2 yrs ago the reason why i am writing today is that i odered the same thing today reluctently and had the same order came back same way i whent in asked for a refund and all hell broke loose i hadent eaten a thing not one frie they asked me why i said its cold and incomplete how is your order incomplete i asked for strawberry milk shake he said its clear we dont have any at this time but were wating on a part to witch i replied you should sue the firm you ordered it feom as its taken 2yrs for that part to come what do you meen the assisstant manager replied its same lie you gave me to years a go and clearley things havent changed got my refund and never over my dead body will i go back

Food was almost cold, ketchup machine was empty, table was dirty, no toilet paper in the loo

Chips cold, cheeseburger cold, ordered extra pickles but cheeseburger only had 1 (even with a label stating extra pickles). Coke tasted very strange. No Loo roll in ladies toilets. Disabled toilet dirty. Self service ordering machine gave no receipt due to being out of paper. Visited 2pm Sunday. Terrible mcdonalds!

Don't go often but was good for healthy lunch had salad and bottled water option

Without doubt the worst McDonald's we have ever visited. Total chaos with orders being prepared and the display screens showing your order progress not working properly. When we got our food it was awful. Fries stone cold. My Big Mac had no sauce or relish in it and burger cold and lacked any flavour. Food debris and rubbish on the floor in the seating areas. Only one disabled toilet working. Considering how much prices have risen in recent months you would expect far better than this. We won't be visiting this outlet next time we visit centre MK.

Well organised staff large order and everything spot on, but sitting down to eat the whole room was cold .

The lunch meal we had was tepid, but due to the fact it was lunchtime and the place was packed, we couldn't be bothered to queue up and complain.

Crowed as usual due to proximity to Marina. Same McD taste. We sat outside the McD to munch and enjoy views but had some rough sleepers or beggers staring at our food to identify left overs. They weren't that intimidating, but a pity

Staff totally disinterested in their job. Food cold, manager replaced it, but it was just the same. Won't be going to this macdonalds again !

This is the 2nd time we've been there over Christmas and still the upstairs is shut off and no toilets working! No where to sit inside as very busy,and with restricted seating, so had to take our food outside with the grandchildren find a seat and balance it all on our laps! Long walk to find a toilet somewhere else, won't eat there again until the upstairs and toilets are usable.

Would not go back to this branch even if I eas starving. Management were stood around talking while food was ready and getting cold. No one seemed to be in control and staff morale was through the floor the while experience was to say the least very very poor. Our local branch at Weston Favell centre is far superior

Why even open if you can't offer the most basic customer service. 3 hot chocolate and one coffee took an age all done without a verbal acknowledgement or care. This country is broken.

If in a rush, expect delays in getting your orders. It's a very busy location. Very clean. No drive thru. They have Delivery service thou.

My fiancé ordered a cheeseburger and after taking a bite or two noticed red on top of the bun, different to the ketchup inside the burger. We came to the sickening realisation it was blood. A short walk back to the McDonald’s and getting the managers attention, she tried to tell us it was just ketchup. We showed her the bun, she took a look then shouted back to the guy assembling the burgers if he cut his finger and he shouts back “yeah”. Actually couldn’t believe it, it was pretty funny. The manager suddenly completely changed her attitude as if begging us not to report it anywhere. We got a replacement burger and that was it

Fast food served quickly and hot. Staff were polite all good. Could do with more sesting but not an issue.

Burger and fries both cold and fries undercooked too. My partner took the fries back and was given fresh ones. We were too hungry to wait for the replacement burgers. Very disappointing to not get this one thing right. Also ran out of milkshakes ..one of my favourite things about McDonald's.

I concur with Aditya Panwar 100%. We experienced exactly the same situation. It's disappointing because the people in-charge or look like the people in-chaege simply didn't care about the customer service and bigger picture of what Mc Donald's is known for. I'm not going to name names but it's the people on duty between 1800-2000 on Fri 17 Nov 23. Simply dissatisfied, do better Milton Keynes McDonald.

No dine-in. Inside the mall but still the order preparation time is quick, as good as any other MD. Okay in taste and good for quick bites.

The food never tastes fresh. The staff look dirty and aren't customer friendly. Place is always dirty. Ordering machines never seem to give out the receipts. The screens that show the order numbers are broken as well. There are no paper cups for the ketchup. No serviettes. This McDonald's needs some serious adults running the place as it is a complete disaster at the moment.

Absolutely awful experience, even the disabled toilet was out of action and I was told there were toilets upstairs, bearing in mind that I have just had an operation on my foot and was on a mobility scooter!! Definitely not recommend

Food was served fast which was great but it was not very tasty, the atmosphere of the resturant was very cramped and uncomfortable. If I risk it and return to this place, I will update the review.

Chips freezing cold, the burger didn't taste right

I am absolutely disgusted at this McDonalds. I love going to McDonalds have a nice meal with my kids and wanted to give them something as we were visiting Milton Keynes so we went to eat at this restaurant. However, this McDonalds gave me the wrong order, so I went up to talk to them, but they gaslighted me into thinking that the order was right. The employee there then called then called for his manager, which i think was called Jamie, to help sort out the issue. I complained that the food we were given was incorrect compared to what I ordered on the touch screen devices. The manager then raised his voice at me in front of my children, who looked quite afraid at the way he was shouting, saying that they gave us the right order, and gaslighting me just like his staff. I had to raise my voice slightly in response to say that it was not right and then I showed him the receipt. The manager said that if I keep complaining he will not give me the food that I paid for and I will be asked to leave. Eventually, he gave in and gave us the food, but he slammed in rudely on the counter for us to take. I will never come here again.

This outlet was very cozy, big, fast service, The staff is very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. About the food, McD Fries are tooooo thin. Thinner than KFC/BK. Same case in India too. We avoid McD due to unsatisfactory fries. Due to some reason we tried Veg burger today. It was nice hot, fresh soft, but no salt in the patty. That's okay we added salt from top. But the thin , short fries are McD disappointment
