Absolute gem, hidden in plain sight! I travel to Maidenhead a lot with work and just discovered this place. It's amazing.

Fantastic, authentic experience in a delightful eatery serving a nice mix of sushi and hot dishes. Friendly service and a cosy atmosphere make for a very pleasant dining experience. Heartily recommended for fans of Japanese food.

Very friendly staff and good quality food with reasonable price. It’s very rare that they don’t charge service charge, which is very happy to see! Tried a few dishes such as chicken katsu curry, udon soup, dumplings and sushi.

Absolutely fantastic! This might honestly be the best Japanese food I’ve ever had ⭐️. Everything was very fresh and came out really quickly. The staff were quite nice and the atmosphere was relaxing but vibrant. We were 2 people and had the salmon sushi set, the chicken karaage and chicken gyozas, all for £26, which to me is excellent value for money as the portions were filling and each meal came with accompaniments. Overall a great experience and I hope they get many more customers! We will definitely be coming back!

Genuine Japanese restaurant. I’ve had food from Miyazaki twice. Loved it both times. First time went with two work colleagues and we all really enjoyed it and had a love experience, even one that was not particularly fond of the Japanese cuisine, couldn’t stop praising the food days after. We had gyozas, shushi, beers and a few different sakes to try out, plus a main dish each, and everything was a bit over £20 each. Two lovely ladies attending the front and kudos to the kitchen staff, as everything comes out of the kitchen really fast. Also, they have one of my favourite drinks, umeshu, a japanese plum wine. Highly recommend trying it! (a bit pricey, as is quite expensive to import, but totally worth it) As said before, the price range is super budget friendly. £5.5 for a Katsu Koroke, rice included? that is quite hard to match. That would be £9-12 somewhere else. 10/10

Delicious food for such a cheap price! For two, we had a beer each, two plates of sushi to share, curry each and a dessert we shared for less than £40! Wonderful staff and cute atmosphere. Definitely going to visit again soon!

Have never been disappointed here. Favorite Japanese restaurant in Maidenhead. The staff are always kind and very helpful. Great prices and great selection of authentic food and drinks, cannot recommend enough. Mixed sushi set and eel nigiri are personal favorites.

Fabulous cafe style Japanese restaurant

I’m still thinking about the Aburi salmon nigiri that I had! Sashimi was nice quality too. The only thing that let the place down is the wait time. We waited way too long for our dishes. I appreciate we came in during peak dinner service but perhaps having another set of hands would help!

What a great little place! Family run restaurant serving really delicious authentic Japanese food. I’m a big fan of a Chicken Katsu Curry and this was the best yet! Sushi and sashimi is fresh and beautifully presented.

Great Japanese food. From sushi to tempura, katsu curry to udon noodles, all freshly prepared and very tasty. Lunch menu is a great deal. I can’t get enough of the mixed sushi lunch.

Really cute little restaurant, if it's about 20 people. They have a lot of sushi options, rolls, Curry, noodles and desserts. I had the vegetarian cucumber roll which tasted great and was very fresh. Quick and efficient service. Noodles, curries, tempura and a variety of the rolls are not gluten-free (The menu isn't marked but the staff is knowledgeable). They do have gluten-free tamari sauce which was a plus!!

The best!!! Give it a try you won’t be disappointed. The lady who runs the restaurant is very kind. Although the place is a bit small, the food is the most delicious I’ve ever had.

Easily the most authentic sushi we have ever had! Incredible service from start to finish, for such a small place. Every bite was perfect and so reasonably priced! Will come back as soon as I am able.

What a charming little spot! We had delicious sushi, udon, and curry – all bursting with flavor. Kids loved it as well. The service was impeccable and very courteous.

We have been regular customers of Miyazaki. Food quality is normally 5-stars. However, chef is usually on holiday during summer time. So, here it is. Mackerel sashimi is my favorite here.

Went for dinner last night and it was amazing!! It wasn’t too busy inside so we managed to get a seat easily. The staff was really lovely, polite and friendly and the FOOD WAS 10/10! We had sushi and a hot dish and they were absolutely delicious and freshly cooked! The sashimi was super fresh and tender and the eel nigiri was a winner for me! I would definitely go back there again!

Great Sushi the both times I've been here!

Just left this restaurant after 30min waiting. They told us that we might wait another hour to get the food as they have to make Takeaway orders first and there are another people in front of us waiting for the food for more than an hour. It’s a joke or maybe they have Japanese style like the toilet outside of the restaurant which is smelly place. Kirin beer was ok 😂

Introduced by one of my friend, food is just so so, I don’t understand why there are so much good reviews. Service is very poor indeed, all of the staffs there are Asian, but just don’t understand why they are so mean to Asian. If you are serving so call Japanese foods, please mind your manner, it’s not the attitude and manner that a Japanese restaurant should provide to customers! Asian, avoid this restaurant!

Small restaurant so would recommend pre booking but we went at the start of dinner service without doing so and got a table. Food was delicious and will definitely go again.

Very friendly staff, no reservation required for 2 on a Friday night, the food was very good and not too expensive either. Highly recommended if you're looking for Japanese food that is affordable.

I read so much good about this place so I was so excited to go and eat there. The little restaurant was so busy with takeaway orders and the restaurant was full too. Food was very oily for me as I have a sensitive stomach. When we asked the bill I seen they charged 2 Coco cola, but we had 1cola and one tea. I told them. They came with a new bill which was still wrong. I told them again. 3rd time finally managed to print out the correct receipt. Even the order wasn't big. One starters,2 mains, 2 drinks. Must be it was just a mistake. I think the reason why iam disappointed because I was look forward to eat in that place, my expectations were might high. I might go back a give them a 2nd chance.

I've ordered sushi take away and the owner helped me to order in advance. Thx for that. I really appreciate it. However, I attached the photo how sushi looked. It's terrible 😔 It looks like a student without any experience tried to make it. Rice was overcooked as well. I'm really disappointed by quality. I'm not going to come back.

Miyazaki is like a breath of fresh air to the town of Maidenhead. The propieter and chef is from Miyazaki in Japan, the menu is perfect, the hospitality is second to none, takeaway is a delicious option and I recommend that you eat here for the full experience of authenticate Japanese hospitality at exceptionally good value. This restaurant is bijou and perfect.

This was a special birthday treat and it exceeded expectations. The service was so friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered a lot of salmon and it was excellent. The miso soup was rich and flavoursome. Gyoza were abundantly filled and served with a great sauce. Thank you Miyazaki.

Been coming here for years, amazing service and the best sushi.

Food - Taste always 5 stars, really good and feels healthy for a takeaway. Giving 3 stars for a couple reasons. Tonight they were overloaded with takeaway orders and were obviously stressed, and did well considering. However they seem v disorganized with takeaways. 5 of us waiting in their tiny restaurant standing about and rather than organising per order they put everything out together in a table at random times/not in bags. We payed for a sushi but it wasn't in the bag. Maybe a good thing considering I just found out their food hygiene is 1/5 from another reviewer, and checked it online... If they can improve those issues it's 5 stars. Eaten in/takeaway plenty of times and until tonight has always been a good experience.

Average food, very nice service and reasonably priced. However just found their food hygiene rating is 1. It could be challenging to have sushi and sashimi there.

Unfortunately eating here potentiallyy gave me and my girlfriend a bad bout of food poisoning. We're pretty sure it was here, as it was the only place that we shared a dish, which was the chicken karagee. She wasn't too bad, but was definitely ill. But unfortunately I had the majority and was wiped out for 2 days, it took me 5 days to feel 100% again. It's a shame as the food was delicious otherwise.

The quality of the food is just amazing. I was lucky enough to go there with a Japanese friend who order for us and could get food outside of the menu. The place is quite small and always fully booked.

All I can say is: delicious Japanese food made with passion that worth coming all the way from Staines for. Thank you!

Delicious food and very hygenic

Usually go here for lunch and the deal they have on is fantastic- reasonably priced and excellent. This time we went for dinner as they have finally opened up their eat in service!!! Edamame was really good - well seasoned and not overboiled The rice for sushi is cooked to perfection, not to cold. The sushi is held well together and the flavour and texture of the rice is just right The Aburi Salmon (one of my favourites) just melts in your mouth - wish they could serve just a platter of this dish! The crispy Salmon and Avocado rolls were incredible The chicken nanban was pretty interesting, don't think i will get it again but was quite unique/(ㄒoㄒ)/~~ The Kitsune Udon Noodle soup was top notch- the broth was well balanced, not too salty but surprisingly refreshing and sweet. The flavours had alot of depth. The tofu/beancurd was incredibly flavourful and sweet too and a nice springy bite. Really kind and friendly service too- can't fault them! My new favourite place :^) Defo gonna visit here more often and become a regular guest

Great food, really appreciate how much care they put in to it all, my wife is from Japan and it's so nice to have Japanese food nearby that is great quality. Really appreciate all the staff here they are so lovely and I really look forward to when I can dine with them again!

Superb quality sushi. Supermarkets nearby have tried to get in on the sushi game with their own in-store sushi bars, but they just can't compete with Miyazaki. I am sitting here at home having just demolished another mixed sushi set and miso soup, and my stomach and taste buds are feeling very happy.
