I often get food from Mirabell at lunchtimes. These days my experience is always the same and therefore I will point it out below - The food is good - The prices are fairly expensive considering what they are giving, portion sizes are relatively large however. This is how it goes - I go inside and two men at behind the counter are extremely pushy! If you do not make a decision within the first 10 seconds they start huffing and puffing. I have seen on numerous occasions where they are putting a lot of pressure on the customers to order their food. Once you order they will take your payment and start making the food (in cases of wraps and sandwiches etc) - if it's hot food they put it inside a box warm it up and you are ready to leave. Biggest issue I have is that when making my wraps they never use gloves and use their bare hands to touch my salad/chicken/wrap/roll whatever it is. I find this extremely disgusting. I haven't been to many cafe's/restaurants where they are making the food in front of you and dont even wear gloves? All the staff are culprits of this not just one person. The old guy behind the counter and another guy are usually doing this.Another point which i find quite rude and cheap is whenever there is a woman in the restaurant and if she is decent looking then they will make remarks about her. This may come across as banter at first, but after a while comes across as desperate and cheap behaviour. If the only thing you have on your mind is how to bed her then you should run a brothel, not a restaurantI usually enjoy the food and because there arent many options around the area I keep going back, but otherwise I wouldnt mind if the staff were fired and someone else came in..

It’s such a shame, we really wanted this to be great, but it wasn’t. My wife was attending a show at Olympia, I’d driven her & we’d looked forward to a feast. Our Eggs Benedict were without doubt the most disappointing we have ever been served. The eggs were really overly vinegar flavoured, no muffin but soggy brown toast, limp apparently packet ham & a kind of yellow-ish gloop which I guess passed muster at some point in place of Hollandaise sauce. We arrive quite early & to be fair, the staff were cheerful & efficient. That’s because there were only three others in the place & they’d been served. Our order arrived in pretty quick fashion but within minutes the queue was out the door & not moving. I’ve seen continental plates move quicker! I gave up trying to get my wife a second coffee after fifteen minutes rooted to the same spot. I’d have given up after three if we hadn’t already been seated there. Not somewhere I’d recommend at all.Phil.

Been there for lunch with my wife. We've just been in that area on business and popped in for some food. We've noticed that the place was quite busy with local office people so guessed it was good enough for locals and should be good for us. Yes, the food was good, staff was friendly and helpful and interior was fine also. It's done in the interesting way, split in two halves - one part is a takeaway and the other is a proper seat in restaurant. We sat in and had both peri peri chicken. It was decent sized (more like American style large full plates) and pretty tasty. We've spent around £15 per person, which is around average for a place like this in this area. All in all - good place, nothing overly exquisite, but decent and fairly priced.

Inside we were pleased to find a large selection of cakes and bakes, many sandwich and salad choices, all beautifully displayed. There were a few pavement tables (where we sat) and a small indoor restaurant area. We ordered 2 skinny caffe lattes which were a good strength, and 3 cakes/bakes: a coconut + cherry flapjack; a pastel de nata; and a large individual apple crumble tart (we shared). The meal, all very tasty, cost under £10 and was served to us sat outside on the pavement. While sat there we saw a panini and an omelette being served to 2 different tables - they looked very generous and very tasty, too. So, well worth a visit for whatever you fancy.

We tried four different wines as well as an amazing chilled port! The wine we had was smooth, aromatic and totally delicious without any of the harsh alcoholic taste. Each cheese and cold meat had the most amazing accompanying wine. I am not a big wine drinker but have always wanted to experience a wine tasting evening. This place fit the bill perfectly as the sommelier made us feel at ease whilst teaching us about the different wines. My friends and I all agreed that it was a brilliant experience and excellent value. We can't wait to go back! We were visiting the Olympia for the Alzheimer's Show and were looking for somewhere nice to grab a breakfast before a full day ahead of us. We'd never been before, previously opting for the supermarket down the road, not knocking the supermarket, more our purchasing habits when we do; butties and pastries! Anyway, Mirabell is a gem, we had chicken veggie wraps and some seriously proper coffee, which isn't technically a traditional breakfast, but the healthy filling option kept us going for the day ahead. I'm not sure where the less than positive comments come from regarding the other reviews. Fair enough, if that's what happened to you, but it's a total polar opposite to what we experienced. Because it was so good, we made any excuse in the breaks to go back, so much so we were too full for a proper dinner at night. The Alzheimer's Show is a 2-day event and by the time of walking past on the 2nd day back to the Underground the owner waved at us, being as regular as we were! I'm writing this review pretty late, visited June 2015, review May 2016, and we're due again next month, so I'll do a follow up review.

We finally selected two different panini: grilled vegetables with hummus and Parma ham with mozzarella & tomato. We then sat and waited to be served. The panini showed up shortly after -- insufficiently grilled, barely a black mark on the bread from the grill, and thus very bready. Both tasteless. I had the ham one. One thin spare slice. Could not taste at all. There were only two other customers in the restaurant and when we left, no goodbye or thanks, and sadly no question, "Was everything ok?" cause I would have told them. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Where to start? Well, it's well located if you're attending an event at Olympia and, on the face of it, looks nice enough. But there are two big issues; 1) RUDE STAFFMy jaw hit the floor at the way I was spoken to. I had to ask my friend who was standing next to me whether unknowingly I had said something to cause offence. I hadn't. Simply, when I was handed my sandwich, I asked for a smoothie too. The menu above the counter says "choose your flavour from apple, banana, strawberry, passionfruit......". I wanted to know whether I could have banana and strawberry. The server (who claimed to be the owner) smashed down a smoothie menu on the counter and said "here are the flavours". There were five combinations of fruits, much like a cocktail menu. I asked again whether he was able to do banana and strawberry? Again, he smashed down the menu and said "here are the flavours". I told him I no longer wanted a smoothie. He said "good. £5.60 and don't come back." In hindsight, I wish I had left the sandwich and walked out. I was taken aback to say the least by his attitude and had paid before I thought about it. 2) POOR FOOD This was just a simple panini. But they served it in focaccia bread which doesn't toast in the same way and, importantly, is neither what was on the menu nor what I asked for. The chicken tasted pretty awful and the vegetables were past their best. I can safely say it was the worst panini I've ever had. My friend's meal was no better. As I left, I told the 'manager' I would write a review of his establishment online. He said "Good, Do it. I don't care. It won't affect me. People will come anyway."Having read other reviews here, it seems I am not alone in thinking this place has poor food, poor staff and a poor attitude. It will catch up with them. I, and my staff, work regularly at Olympia and we will never be going again. There is such a thing in this life as karma. There is also such a thing as common decency. This place should try to find out a bit about both. Oh, and how to cook a panini.

Sat down in small and tightly packed seating area with waitress service. Very busy so bit of a wait. Wide range of options available. My vegetarian cooked breakfast (egg, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans) was pretty good and was only just over a fiver. I do find the "optional" 10% tip added into the bill very tiring and annoying particularly if just having a couple of coffees. The occupants sitting on the next table found that no tip was not an option!

I was attending an event at Olympia and went into this place as the panini/salad bar looked lovely and I assumed they would have a decent breakfast menu. They did. It even had my favourite breakfast, Eggs Benedict. When it came, I was speechless. Two slices of cheap toasted brown bread, with a poached egg and a horrible bit of cheap packet ham on top. Instead of a hollandaise sauce it had this buttery, sour gloop. It was absolutely disgusting, I have no idea what it was but it certainly wasn't a nice, smooth, beautiful hollandaise. The only thing they did right was poach two eggs nicely, something a small child could do. This breakfast was horribly wrong and the sour butter gloop I had the mispleasure of trying made me feel ill for the rest of the day. Eggs Benedict is such a simple breakfast. A toasted muffin, a poached egg, a bit of half decent ham and a nice, warm hollandaise sauce, which any self-respecting cook should be able to knock up in about 2 minutes. If this isn't the case, shop bought hollandaise would be fine.I left quickly and went down to the Hand & Flower pub for a coffee. The man across from me was eating their eggs benedict, which looked terrific. To say I was gutted to have walked past this pub in the first place is an understatement.

It doesn't look much from the outside as half of the shop is a takeaway/delicatessen, but the food is delicious. We both had a risotto (different ones) and they were delicious. It is very reasonably priced and a bottle of wine was £10 which was a bonus,as we had a very nice Pinot Grigio.I would definitely recommend this for lovely homemade ,mainly Italian dishes. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

A fiver for a small takeaway salad with basic ingredients - iceberg lettuce, cheap tomatoes, watery mayonnaise dressing. Definitely not a good enough standard for the price. My friends were equally disappointed with their lame lunches. Won't be going back.

Went there to grab some food for take-away, there was a long queue but fortunately not for the hot dishes, I took chicken peri peri with rice, sweet potatoes and roasted potatoes.Payed 5,2£ for a good portion of food. I will definitely back for more. The location couldn't be better, just on the main road near the offices.

Always pop in when at Olympia. Love the sandwiches made to order. Had a large order last time and did have to wait even as my turn came as the two staff serving me were also serving other customers at same time. Chaotic system! This cause a long wait and having to repeat order when paying. Time is so important when spending so much to exhibit at Olympia and may re consider waiting next time!

With a location opposite Olympia, my colleague and I nipped in for lunch whilst visiting an exhibition. We had the bruscetta plus a salad - both of which were delicious. The staff were great but it does get busy so try to avoid busy lunch periods - or allow plenty of time. Great variety in the menu and free wifi

As this place is directly opposite the place I work, I found it quite convenient to get something to eat there. By and large the food is quite good, and they are extremely hygiene conscious. However, and there's a big however, the staff can very often look extremely hassled and sometimes be downright rude. A perfect example of this was when I went last week, queued where I normally queue and was pushed out of the way by one of the waitresses. I caught her attention a couple of minutes later, asked her why she couldn't have just said excuse me like anyone else and her response within three seconds was that I shouldn't speak to her, just one of the supervisors. I did so, the supervisor mumbled a one word apology while the waiters either side of her grinned their amusement. I am not exactly a shrinking violet, but had I shoved a fellow customer or a member of staff in the same way, I doubt they would have left the matter without commenting on it, to say the least. This is not to say they are like this all the time, but one time is too many, and having spoken to colleagues, this is by no means an exception. If they treat customers like that, they can't be too surprised if those now ex-customers become vocal.

We got lots of food for the money, which tasted great. Open until late and the hospitality was great. Definitely worth a visit!

Warm welcome as usual and really happy with the service overall. This time Green tea and it’s been amazing although the tea was too hot.

Had some time to kill after shopping in Westfield. Popped in and asked a very friendly girl behind the bar for a large NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Didn’t really catch how much she said and just tapped my card, no receipt but then I didn’t ask for one. On checking today I have been charged £16.10 for this glass of wine. Now I am all for anyone making a profit and yes this is London but would have expected not have paid anymore than £12 tops. On checking their website I can see I have been charged about double for this. So really annoyed and upset I didn’t pay more attention but you know what lesson learned. Avoid at all cost unless you really want to be ripped off

We came here on a Sunday night before a concert. It was incredibly busy but that staff did get us seated pretty quick. Unfortunately food took quite a while and we had to go up and get our own glasses as they weren’t brought over when we ordered on the app. We ordered on the app because the queue to order was long. The food was fine but not super hot and my big Nandos bug bear is stingy on the chips and peri salt. Toilets were clean and facilities were good for drinks etc.
