Called in tues night after seeing reviews. Had chick tik rogon ,to be honest it all just tasted the same not much flavour. I dont think I'll come back all i could taste was like chilli powder not for me +cash only bring back the Jonaki.

this place was recommended to me but I have to say not for me food was very greasy and tasteless and I will not .come back for moor

Nice food and great service. It's a BYO for alcoholic drinks and they also sell a range of soft drinks. Our family's favourite curry house in Stockport. Highly recommended

A lovely little Indian restaurant. Really nice staff. Excellent food. Ample portions. Loads of parking. We've been several times and never had a bad meal.

Make sure you book your table and remember to bring your own drink [wine or beer] as they only do soft drinks. The food is absolutely excellent, right down to the last mouthful and perfect service from the staff as well....well worth further visits.

It is best to book a table to make sure you can get in to the restaurant......if yo want wines or beers you have to bring your own, they only serve soft drinks. I would always recommend this place because their food is always of a very high standard to choose from on the menu. They only serve soft drinks and if you require beers or wine, you have to bring them in yourself and the payment is by cash only. Definitely worth plenty of return visits.

If you want to eat here book a table first, so you are not disappointed if refused and the bills are cash only not card. Being new to the area it was recommended by friends saying how amazing the food was and at good value too! Well they were not wrong! Food arrived steaming out of the delivery box with a friendly delivery guy. Tried the chicken tikka massala, lamb chops, mix kebab with juicy sauces...all mouth-wateringly good. Will be my regular weekend order - oh yeh!

Sooo I was browsing Facebook last night with no intention of ordering a takeaway ( I very rarely do ) and someone asked for Indian takeaway recommendations, the number of people who said Mint Kitchen was their takeaway of choice blew me away so in a moment of weakness I ordered. Brilliant food, freshly cooked and delivered piping hot. The only reason it hasn't got 5 stars is the time it took to arrive ( 1hr 5mins)

Tried this place for the 1st time tonight and i wasn't disappointed, definitely be ordering from here again , food was lovely and didnt have to wait to.long , only down side was you had to pay by cash and i was lucky i just managed to scrape enough to.pay , i would rather pay online as i don't normally have cash .

Excellent takeaway and restaurant. The food is really always very good and great value. The staff are so happy too and nothing is too much trouble. Great delivery service too.. We never use any other takeaway now, this is so good.

First time ordering from this restaurant. The menu is good with ample variety. The dishes are large so not sure starters and main is good combo. Good portion size and great sauces accompanied. Enjoyed the food and very happy and full. No room for deserts cannot wait to order agian.

Everything tastes the same. From a Korma to Vindaloo, its all spicy and rubbish.. Hardly any meat in the meals

Disgusting.white hard chips that must of been threw in the fryer for a couple of seconds,cold sweaty nan bread greasy onion bajis the worst part was the tasteless sauce with a thick layer of oil and rock hard chicken that I spat out straight away,we ordered a takeaway but how this place has more than a few stars is beyond me,honestly it’s the worst takeaway I’ve ever had....

We got a take-away from the Mint Kitchen it was the first time. It was the best take-away we have had for a very long time. Everything we ordered was extremely well cooked and so tasty, great value for the money.We would definitely recommend it, next time we will eat in the restaurant, can't wait.

We went here for our friend's birthday and had a lovely meal. The food was freshly prepared and hot and delicious. Service was also good. The prices were reasonable and I would definitely recommend this restaurant as it has a car park opposite and you get good service because it is not rammed,

The food and service in the Mint Kitchen, is the best there is - I believe it is Indian and Bangladeshi food......they do not serve alcohol, you can bring your own - they only serve soft drinks.There is one drink which the majority of us liked and that is Lassi Mango or Mango Lassi in a glass jug.The food is of a very high standard indeed and is worth making further visits to this restaurant without delay.

First time we have ordered takeaway from Mint Kitchen.Get lots of leaflets through the door, thought we'd give it a try. Looked up website, direct through them, not 3rd party. Site was great, quick and easy to set up an account and order, lots of choice at good prices.Delivery service was really quick andfood did not disappoint, it was delicious!Would recommend and will definitely be using again.

The service is very good and the food is excellent, each time we come here - they only serve soft drink - if you want anything different, you have to bring your own with you. I would definitely recommend further visits to this restaurant.

Met friends for a meal here. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Although the restaurant was busy and the takeaway orders were coming in (the phone didn't stop ringing) we ordered and got our food pretty quickly. The food was excellent, very tasty - excellent selection of starters the Granny style chicken Madras and Balti chicken tikka keema jai puri were amazing. Portion sizes were very generous - we shared loads,Would highly recommend this place if you like proper Bangladeshi/Indian food. Next visit being planned already.

Had a group meal, 8 of us. The food was hot and delivered fairly promptly and was fairly good. Found the mango chutney was very thin and had no substance to it. The curry I had was ok, nothing wrong with the taste but a bit lacking in chicken. The floor is a death trap, it is clean but it is very slippy and the chairs kept moving about as you sat on them. They need to sort that floor before somebody has an accident.

Wow Spectacular food service and hospitality. We went for a 40th celebration and could not recommend enough. Menu brilliant and quality of food excellent fantastic can't say enough!!!!!!

Came here with a friend on a Tuesday, it was clean with a few people eating. It’s BYO alcohol which is always good. Service was good. The food and portion size was really impressive and really tasty. Would recommend the garlic chicken masala. Great food and at a good price!

Always authentic, no nonsense curries and starters, with quality at the forefront. We dont bother to go to Rusholme anymore as Mint is Mint!

Been here several times food has always been very good and plenty of it service can either be too fast or to slow. That’s me being picky but overall I love the food here and staff are friendly

Visited here with my parents and children and had a great meal - the service was spot on, the meals were varied and could taste all different dishes as being unique and fresh - all high quality throughout. It's excellent value for money and a lovely addition to the Stockport food offer!

we are very fussy eaters, we love curry and this place hits the spot in every way, great starters, succulent main meals with loads of naan bread and rice, and BYO to top it all off, what is not to like, it is our go to restaurant when we want curry!

we ordered 2 meals with starters - was told that the delivery would be 40 minutes.

we have been eating here since the first night it opened,and food, service ,always good.

This was our 4th visit and maybe the last, the food was excellent as always, once it arrived, we ordered our meal at 19:15 and received our main meal at 21;10, we could see into the kitchen from our table it became obvious that the main concern was getting the Take away meals out first, and leave the sit in diners waiting.

Off the Gorton Road, into Broadstone Road.....the staff provide an excellent service and the meals are shear delight to eat.....every mouthful is better than the last and it goes down a treat.

This was our first use of Mint Kitchen. I had chicken Tikka Massala which was vivid red, ample chicken but far too much sauce, and packaged in plastic.

We always have our takeaway curry from this establishment. Every dish is tasty. We try different ones. The portions are very generous

Stockport is not short of choice when it comes to Indian restaurants and this one is right up there amongst the best.

We’d been hearing good things about Mint for a while now and we decided to pop by on a Saturday night to give it a try. Excellent service, busy restaurant, very reasonable prices and highly flavoured curries with fantastic side dishes and wonderful breads. We will be returning regularly. Our only gripe was the rather odd blue lights which resemble being on a sunbed in the 80’s and the rather nippy temperature. However, faultless food.

So Reddish seems to be becoming 'up-and-coming', which is great for me, as I live sooo close to new gastronomic possibilities. Mint Kitchen was convenient (easy to park, easy to get to, space to sit in, generally friendly staff) much better than the Heaton Moor tandoori restaurant (which I hated!!) As we went in, the lights are blue on the ceiling, which was a little surreal, but I would have loved it when I was 15-25 and still find it interesting and different. Bright blue doesn't really enhance the dining experience, however. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had ordered a normal coke, the others diet cokes and when all of them came and were diet (which I cannot drink) I had to explain they'd made a mistake. They happily and speedily replaced it free of charge. That was a good start. The menu had a good variety, although some of the curries weren't explained on the menu. They had some interesting (not mind-blowing, but interesting and novel) choices and everyone seemed happy with their food. The starters were good standard and the poppadoms and sauces were actually good. I have had some excellent curries, so this didn't excite me particularly, but everything seemed clean and tasted fine and they were willing to be accommodating. All good. Bill not too expensive, but had to be settled in cash, which I find irritating. Also boyb. I had a vindaloo and it didn't blow my head off. We had a nice relaxed evening together, which is always good.

Have been here a couple of times and always been pleased with the food they do a take out service as well which is excellent they don’t serve alcohol but you can take your own all in all a great restaurant

Went here last minute as a party of 5 (plus baby) for mothers day and they managed to squeeze us in. Food amazing, prices good. Bring your own beer. Would highly recommend

Looked on trip advisor of where to eat local to the hotel. Good reviews so gave it ago. Small restaurant (BYO and cash only), friendly waiter. Went for sizzling lamb Balti with a side or okra. Bother very good. Would recommend this place

We came here on New Years Eve and although it was very busy the service was excellent. There is a very good menu choice and the prices are reasonable. You can take your own wine but can also purchase soft drinks. There is plenty of space and the restaurant is very clean. It is open from 4pm so you can go for dinner quite early if you want. To be recommended if you want a nice authentic Indian meal locally.

Visited on Xmas day. Food was fantastic, staff were fantastic and all at a great price. A true gem in reddish.

The Mint Kitchen is in Broadstone Road off of Houldsworth Square and is definitely worth extra visits.

Came here last night for a catch up with the girls, food was excellent and service was outstanding. I have never been to a restaurant where you take your own alcohol, they provided us with glasses, food wasn't greasy like some Indians. Mixed started is a must try!

We visited tonight a party of 13 of us and couldn't fault anything the food was to die for the prices reasonable and the service was 5 star! The staff very polite it was my partners birthday and they brought the cake out (that I provided) put happy birthday music on and provided plates so everyone could have cake it was just a great night all round just remember to take your own alcohol but soft drinks are a very reasonable would highly recommend and will be back x

What a fabulous place the food was to die for, the staff were attentive nothing was too much trouble we didn’t feel rushed they are not licensed so take your own alcohol however they do serve non alcoholic drinks and they do supply the ice. Also note it’s cash only at the moment as they have no card machine. I would definitely recommend MINT KITCHEN. And even better they deliver we will be eating here again and ordering take out........ at last a decent Indian restaurant in Reddish

Visited Mint Mitchen last week for the first time with friends and I must say, the Food was out of this world, we had various starters, best onion bhagis I have ever tasted and the Fish Tikka was superb, we had amazing Mains, Byriani Chicken and Lamb dishes, would highly recommend!!

The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are very helpful and the only thing you have to bring with you is a bottle of alcoholic drink. Extremely highly recommend

We have had several take aways from here which have all been lovely but was very disappointed last night. I don’t know if they had different staff working but firstly I really struggled giving my order over the phone to the gentleman who answered ( the guy who usually answers knows my name and is friendly) then when the order arrived some of it was missing ( which they did rectify but meal going cold in the meantime). We ordered a curry we have had in the past but last night it was not upto the usual standard. Far too many onions and too little meat and tasted awful so ended up throwing it in the bin. It’s a shame as always enjoyed our curries from here so hope it was a one off but has put me off ordering from here again

After not being able to get into a restaurant we tried this at late notice on a Friday and wasn’t disappointed they do a set meal for great value and the food is delicious.

I've just visited the mint kitchen with my family for a meal. From the outside I was a bit dubious however I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Been to tonight with the family. Friendly staff with a nice atmosphere. Service was quick and efficient, food was lovely, hot and freshly made. Too much! asked for the left overs to be wrapped to take away, Can bring your own beer or wine with no corkage charge.

My wife and I called in Saturday night I had tandoori mixed grill it was absolutely top rate my wife had a fish sashlik the staff were very impressive always willing to answer any queries with a smile it was packed out with what looked like some sort of football get together but we were treated with quick efficient service my only downside was we didn’t know it was cash only so had to whip out to the bank fortunately it was 5 minute walk away and we didn’t know it wasn’t licensed so you bring your own never mind looking forward to next time you won’t get a better Indian meal anywhere

Booked to go here for a small family event. Arrived at the time arranged but our table was not ready. It seemed to be a 21st/18th birthday night with lots of big parties and no set table for us. We were told our table would be ready soon, but none of the customers looked anywhere near ready to leave! Sooo upsetting as we don't get to go out often and we could have booked somewhere else instead. Won't be going back purely because of the bad service, but can't comment on whether the food was nice or not!

At last reddish has an Indian restaurant have been to the restaurant and had their takeaways and been impressed with both. The staff are polite and welcoming . Highly recommended

This place is worthy of praise; from the initial greeting to the tasty authentic dishes each tasting unique. The curries were tailored to the way we requested - mouth watering. Have to mention the ladies restroom - very clean & spacious. A trendy place with passion. Many thanks to the staff for being very welcoming and so accommodating. Will be back for Mother's Day.

Heard about Mint Kitchen through our community Facebook page and thought we'd give it a try for some Friday night takeaway. The website ordering was really easy, slick and fast, and the food was even delivered about 15 minutes earlier than we anticipated.

Nipped in really late on Thursday night for a takeout, first of all such lovely people so friendly and polite! Ordered 2 plain and a peshwari naan, pilau rice, chips and garlic chicken. Was ready within ten minutes, even put little handwipes and lollipops in! The food was amazing, best curry I've had in a while. Tasted even better the next day as we couldn't finish it all! Will definitely be returning, hopefully to the actual restaurant next time which looks lovely, immaculate and so clean! Thanks again, 3 very happy customers! :)

I grew up in the UK and as much I love Chicago we don’t have great Asian food. Mint kitchen cemented my belief that the UK has the best Asian food - and Mint Kitchen has become my favorite on my short trip to Manchester. Wish we had this quality and level of food in the states. Alas will have to wait until I get back to Manchester to enjoy my favorite curries again! Top service, top food, a must visit in Manchester!

This has changed hands recently and is now an Indian restaurant. it is well worth a visit. the menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and there is lots of choice. You take your own alcohol. To be recommended. It is open from early evening and is just what Reddish needed.

Having read the rave reviews on here , we had high expectations , but they wern't met . Will go back again but with lower expectations . My lamb dish was a bit chewy , though my peshwari nann was lovely . Good service , nice people and deco. The toilets are upstairs and as this property is an old typical terrace , the stairs are very steep , don't drink too much , BYO, or you may have a quick descent on them.

What a great addition to the local area. Great friendly staff to advise you on different curries. As for the food itself is absolutely amazing. Not to mention it’s bring your own alcohol as well what is great.

We visited today for a family gathering in a restaurant which was the base of an old haunt of janakis. The food was wonderful. The service was brilliant, prices were great and the atmosphere was casual and thoughtful. A family of 15 and we were made welcome and we weren’t rushed through any of the courses. Freshly prepared, tasty Indian food and hopefully they will stay around, because for reddish there is little competition and should become a great hub for curry lovers and for people who want quality for their pounds.
