Minnies Pizza's in East Devon

Cheap ingredients, bland and well overpriced. What the hell happened to the old style pizzas with the decent bacon etc? Bloody awful. I never had a problem with you guys for many many years. Always ordered from you every since I was young. Even my parents ordered from you. I will not be ordering from you again!

What I got was 2 pizza bases like you'd buy in tesco to make your own pizza.. I litters paid £25 for 2 pizza bases no sauce, a slight sprinkle of cheese and 3 of each topping.. I've learnt in Exmouth if you wanna go out for a meal and don't wanan gamble then go to Subway/KFC/Dominoes. I suppose there's a reason the restaurant is always empty and the drivers are all sat on their phones bored.

Excellent service as always, highly recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately my chips were cold and very undercooked, entirely inedible, so had to go in the bin. The restaurant called to explain that they couldn't complete my order, but were polite and gave me an immediate refund for the missing items. The restaurant said they had been so busy due to the pandemic, but they should not send out cold undercooked items because they are under pressure. They should limit their orders and serve a manageable amount of customers well. Very disappointed.

Took 3 hours to arrive and when it did it was dry dunno if they forgot the tomato puree on the pizza but I wont be ordering anymore food from them!

Burger was tough and tasted like plastic, used microwave chips that werent even cooked fully, i had to put them in the oven myself, got my drink wrong.

Pizza was lovely and crispy Could have done with a little more tomato base (personal preference) But the Mac and cheese would have been better put in a foil tray and grilling to thicken up more Good service Great staff Will definitely be back again

Disgusting, burnt on one side, cold and they changed the pizza bases, it was disgusting and I will never again choose a pizza from here. Rest in peace Mike (previous owner) he ran the best pizza takeaway ever, shame the new owner has no clue and has got the cheapest worst bases ever. Lost me as a customer. I hope people follow me and agree with this.

Great food! Saturday night so not too unhappy with the waiting time and know how busy it can be! Overall very happy

Excellent pizza, highly recommended if a bit expensive when you add £2 delivery and 50p service charge it eats into the discount given.

The burgers were very tasty, and the buns were also delicious, the falafels are now a firm favourite

Food wasn’t edible it was late. I couldn’t even eat it. Also sent the wrong drink. Not happy.

Food was never delivered. Phoned Minnie's - the lady on the phone was very apologetic but they didn't print off the order - they advised food would be at least another hour - not even an offer to try and get the food out to us ASAP. Very disappointed.

Great pizzas - we love them and have been customers for years - but 2 and a half hours late is just ridiculous! This is the second time within a couple of weeks, A bottle of full fat Fanta doesn’t cut it - we hate sugary drinks....disappointing

I think Minnie's has been taken over the pizzas are now nowhere near as good or as filling.considering going elsewhere from now on.

The driver didn't know where he was going. He rang me up and I had to tell him where i was. I saw his car but wasn't really Listen ing to me. Couldn't really understand him as his English wasn't great. Perhaps you could update the address to Exmouth Air Radio as name has changed about two years ago

Ordered through Just Eat for a Saturday night, have used Minnies on many occasions before and enjoyed it. However on this occasion when the 'Thin & Crispy' pizzas arrived the bases were cheap supermarket type bases which were like cardboard, having paid £1.45 for red onion on one pizza we could hardly find any. Very disappointed having paid a total of over £28 for 2 pizzas and will certainly not be using them again. Phoned to register our disappointment and just received a 'Sorry about that' !

Used Minnies a bit lately and every meal has been a 5 star. Anything fried is cooked in clean oil and is not at all greasy. Wife loves the jacket spuds also.

I can not comment on restaurant service as I ordered for delivery. Even though my food came on time I had to wait over and hour and a half for my food.

Took 2 hours to receive 1 pizza, 1 chips and some chicken wings. Poor customer service from stroppy woman on the phone who i could hear slagging me off in the background whilst manager tried to rectify. Appreciate that emergencys occur but just be honest with customers from the beginning instead of trying to fob off! Also note about no herbs on pizza was ignored so didnt end up eating it anyway!! Wont be using again.

Minnies is the best pizza place in town without a doubt!! One problem with minnies though is the price! I know it’s hard to compete with dominos on price but if they started doing special deals we would order from minnies whenever we have pizza!

I’m not one to ever bother writing a review , even if I have a bad meal. But this was the worst eating out experience of my life. The food was overpriced, example nachos at £4.50 was the cheapest tortilla chips the likes I’ve never seen and cold grated cheese That’s it lol. We were charge 2.50 for a Volvic one litre sized and what we revived was a brand I never heard 500ml in size. DO NOT ORDER AND GET RIPPED OFF .

Ordering from a reliable place of which my partner has ordered from for years, however, with this service it is the complete opposite of what we expected and wanted. Firstly, after placing an order within a reasonable distance, the expected delivery time was close to that of 2 hours. Moving onto the meal, the chips were undercooked, the burger seemed to be vegetarian when I ordered that of meat, my nachos came completed uncooked, the pizza was overcooked with a really hard base. All of which came to £21, where I would expect higher quality, especially with the current potential of national dine in offers. With the aforementioned, I won't be ordering nor returning from Minnie's again.

Ordered a spicy vegetarian but it was very bland and several of the supposed ingredients were missing. Pizza base too thick and stodgy . Average at best and not good value .

The chips were soggy and shop bought, the nachos were ok but the cheese was not melted and the crisps tasted a little stale, the chicken burger wasn’t much better either, overall a bad experience for me I won’t be ordering again from here.

We were debating whether to order from Domino's or Minnie's, and we're really pleased we went for Minnie's. Four delicious pizzas the whole family enjoyed, plus nice chips, wedges, wings and garlic bread.

Fantastic service quality food

Decent food for the price. Two main things that disappointed me; 1. I ordered a large bottle of sprite that was room temperature/luke warm. I at least expected the drink to be cool. 2. I requested in the notes that the chips have salt on them or a salt sachet is provided, however it come with neither. Overall decent meal. Just disappointing about those two points.

Well, the only reason I dropped a star on the food is the crust edges are often burnt, but the rest of the pizza was delicious!!

Given up on this place the staff are horrible and Need to learn some people skills. Rang up to make a large order so before starting I asked about delivery times. When I repeated what I thought I head to make sure the woman snapped at me really horribly. Gutted dominos won’t deliver as far as my place as they actually respect costumers. Shouldn’t be surprised really the amount of bad encounters I have had with this place.

Don’t normally eat pizza, but decided that tonight was the night to give it a go. We weren’t disappointed. The pizza was delicious. Arrived early and delivered by a cheerful chap. Altogether a great choice tonight.

Greasy soggy dough and grumpy service. I’ve tried for a while now to support a local family pizza takeaway but the cheap greasy ingredients and stupidly high prices have done it for me. I’m going across the road to another pizza company

Service was friendly but slow. Not much flavour in the pizzas maybe cheap ingredients. Think the premises are a bit garish and ugly inside and out. Such a shame as it’s a prime location and could be really amazing with a lot of potential. It’s one of the first things you see when you come into Exmouth.

Are all these reviews fake as my wife and myself had two pizzas cheese chips and macaroni cheese and tortillas all tasted bland with no flavour at all for the price of £41 this was a rip-off I would’ve been better off going to a proper restaurant and having a meal avoid this place the owner doesn’t look too clean either

Always look forward to Minnies Pizzas - usually have them delivered and the service is very good. They are enjoyed immensely, have a good choice of menu.

I have always enjoyed Minnie’s pizza lovely deep pan pizzas with a good variety of toppings. But when it comes to people skills and customer relations they need a good hard think about the way things are done. They have a meat sensation that comes with optional red onion topping but if you ask to swap that for jalapeños they try charging £1.50. When it comes to delivery they seriously take the Micky! Considering they have dominos to compete with they never seem to be able to deliver to me with an estimate less than a hour and a half. The place is never busy I assume they just say this to wait until they have enough orders. Last time I agreed to wait this long I got a call 50 mins in saying I was £1.30 short of delivery charge to Budleigh and they had not even started cooking. So if you can wait a few hours for dinner go for it. If your hungry go to the other local pizza options.

Really good pizza...had a giant one with 🥓 mushroom..cheese.. peppers.. pepperoni and ham. Haven't been here for a long time but so glad we decided to go here

Visiting Exmouth after years away. Looked online for pizza found this 5 star health and hygiene rating app. Had a great oriental duck pizza and my son had a burger to take out. Had a great chat with the owner. Maybe the place looks a little dated but they do great pizzas plus friendly staff. Will be back next time in Exmouth.

The food was ok. however I specified no onions and took a bite out of my food which was full of onions. The staff member forgot to ask me for payment, I reminded her and she then overcharged me. The price on the app said £7.80 so I went with £8.00, the staff woman was then rather rude woman and snapped saying the prices were different, but failed to say why. This led to an embarrassing experience seeing as I didn't have enough money. Although the food was nice I couldn't have felt less wanted as a customer.

My order was half an hour late, and when I phoned to see we're it was. She just said she is out with it, no sorry then or when it was delivered. Not a lot of chips in the kids meals either. But not happy with the service at all

Best pizza 🍕 in Exmouth (yes Domino's) and always has been and great to see nothings changed...

Pizza was very good quality and very tasty(Cheese & Tomato Thin & Crispy Base), and the 6oz Flame Grilled Cheeseburger was also to a very high standard and was very nice. However the chips very undercooked and soggy. Would give them benefit of the doubt though as rest of food was excellent for what it is. Just maybe steer clear of the chips!

Although pricier than other pizza delivery services in our area the quality matches it and you will not be disappointed! The 16" is HUGE and well worth the money. We will be coming back here for a treat and not order from the others!

Delivery was 1.5hrs, ordered at 5.30pm on a Tuesday night and was delivered at 7pm, could understand if it was a weekend and really busy Pizzas were nice but the chip portion was very small and soggy from the condensation in the box,

Arrived promptly, still warm and absolutely delicious! Perfect!

I had a Hawaiian pizza, it tasted awful, the ham tasted off and it was dripping in greasy cheese, pity as normally it's fine, we had the garlic bread too and it was again greasy and over cooked! Very disappointed
