Minh's Chinese takeaway in Birmingham

I ordered from here just to receive only one of the items i ordered. I called the place to check what happened and the woman on the phone was rude and was not listening to anything i had to say.

First time using here food was great we live a little further than where this is based an it came early an still piping hot will definitely be ordering from here again

Just ordered special chow mein and Singapore rice with curry sauce. Best chow mein I've had since leaving cardiff many years ago.

I consider myself lucky that my local Chinese takeaway is such a great one. I have been using it for a good three years now and have never been disappointed. The food is always hot tasty and cooked with speed. The range of vegetarian options is amazing. As well as classic Chinese meatless dishes they have a range of non meat substitutes for chicken beef etc. The vegetarian shredded duck starter is delicious

Food arrived earlier than expected, piping hot spring rolls, so delicious, nice juicy big chicken balls. My go to for chinese food everytime.

Food was nice, first time we had used these guys and wasn't disappointed. They missed an item off our delivery but within 10 minutes a fresh missing item was delivered.

Disappointed order lots of food but tricked with chicken balls, sent a bag of chips with 3 chicken balls on top so looked like a full bag

Everything was fantastic apart from the satay sauce which was like water and oil with no flavour. Satay should not be so watery. Apart from that. So great.

I have been here a few times over the years but it has been a while since I have ordered. Unfortuntately my usual king prawn fried rice was very dark and very salty and I found other food items that were neither rice or prawns!. This is disappointing for a chinese I would have recommended to others but I won't be doing that any time soon.

food was exceptional as always but this time we ordered the chefs choice and to be honest the chips and curry source would have been better on its own in seperate containers, but can never fault their food, quality and price.

Ordered the special chow mein, which should have contained various meats and shrimp. Well I had to look hard to find any and what I did find wasn't worth it. I've ordered from there for over five years and now have to fine somewhere else. Very disappointed.

I ordered a box that comes with curry sauce. I normally ask them to replace this with sweet and sour sauce as im allergic to the curry sauce. They said okay but then didn’t do this when i got my order. I called and explained it to them again and they apologised and said they would send the correct thing. Instead they send just the sauce, baring in mind the curry sauce is all over the food. This was not a suitable solution! They eventually replaced the food but it took over an hour and a half

Curry was spicy and mainly filled with onions meat was chewey (lamb) chicken balls were overcooked and greasy won't bother ordering again don't know why it's rated so good food was rubbish

Best chinese takeaway in Handsworth. The food always arrives fresh and hot. They have very friendly drivers and always turn up on time.

The food may have arrived, but it was 15 minutes late, even though the food was supposed to arrive between 7:45pm and 8:05pm.

The noodles & rice was salty, far too much soy sauce, The spring rolls were good. The battered chicken & sauce was perfect. Not sure whats missing or changed but please ease off on the dark soy for the rice & noodles, all I could taste was soy sauce :( Noodles went in the bin after a taste. I ahve had these same meals for many years from different restaurants & well it's never been so dark & taste nothing but soy. sorry did not enjoy this time.

Food was nice, but it was late. Spring rolls were tiny compared to other take outs and there were no prawn crackers with the order, despite the take out being more expensive than others. In the past, we’ve chosen to pay the extra for Minh’s because of the quality, but unfortunately, this has put us off

Some dish sauces don’t match the description. Kung po was like a very spicy sweet chilli.

Rice was missing from the order and although it eventually turned up was questioned by the restaurant as to whether I’d ordered it! No gesture of goodwill offered. The amount of duck in the duck in plum sauce was poor!

Food arrived after 25 minutes, driver was very friendly, and polite. All food was very delicious, and temperature was spot on. We received vegetable spring rolls as a bonus too. Top quality food, and service!
