Good quality chips, crispy chicken satay was plentiful, Cantonese beef and Noodle boxes also scored well. The server was pleasant enough

Usually find this a really good Chinese. But tonight I'm disgusted at my order. Salt and pepper chips - far too much seasoning actually not edible Crispy shredded beef - 4/10 Soft noodles - these was missed off the order so had to drive back for them Curry sauce - has a powder taste to it Spare ribs - over cooked and very little meat on them Really disappointed

Absolutely delicious! We had a salt & pepper box, a Thai red beef curry & salt and & pepper chips. Food was so hot & tasted beautiful. Definitely a local favourite 🤌

Ordered sweet & sour chicken Fried rice & bbq spare ribs . All good but the bbq ribs ,they were quite over cooked so won't order those again .

Firstly, Great food! A small selection for 3 of us and the food was very tasty and nicely cooked/presented. Only reason service was marked down, I phoned my order in and collected half an hour later. It was a tad chaotic in the shop with delivery driver orders coinciding with busy kitchen staff running around and customers landing for collection. Not helped by each customer having to list their order (I can never remember!!) to pay/claim their goods! Back home, our local takeaway takes the name of the orderer on the call and that’s all you quote when you arrive for collection!! Works really well!!

Ordered from here at 6:00pm rang them at around 7:30pm because it hadn’t arrived to be told it wouldn’t be long… we then rang back at 8:20pm because it still wasn’t here, not atall happy with the service we received nor am I happy with the quality of the food we received DO NOT RECOMMEND

Food is absolutely stupendous you will not be disappointed

I give up on Chinese food years ago until someone recommended ming yip. Absolutely stunning food. I definitely recommend 100%. Can’t wait for more 😉👌

Salt and pepper chicken wings are the best around, main meals are delicious and all portion sizes are well enough! The main lady behind the till is always lovely and goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. 100% recommend.

This used to be a great Chinese but recently there portions are getting smaller and the prices are increasing, they also charge you delivery which I’ve only recently noticed so I’ve stopped tipping the driver.

Very busy great food but front of shops bit scruffy really improved over last year or so salt n pepper wings are 👌 can't fault any of the meals tho

We have the combo noddle box, only £7 each and are packed full of meat as well as veg. Definitely a decent portion, and always tasty. 👌

My first time here .. Never again …chicken chow mein was watery rubbery chicken .. tasted like it was a frozen dish ..prawn toast was very oily with no prawn filling .. ribs were ok .. beef satay .. again tasted like it was a frozen dish .. very bland .. chips were soggy .. very disappointed

My partner had a meat pie but it was so hard she couldn't eat it god knows how long it had been in the pie warmer

Absolute hidden gem of a Chinese takeaway I had never been here before but I will definitely be making this my go to Chinese from now on. The food is delicious and freshly cooked and fantastically hot and fresh. I can't rate it high enough and can't wait to go again. Try it, you will NOT be disappointed...😉 (Credit or debit cards are NOT accepted by the way).

Ordered the salt and pepper munchy box A. The box was just salt and pepper stuff, they don't fill it with rice and noodles like other places. They give you egg fried rice separate. Only £14 very good value.

Staff were polite, efficient and the food was great. Which I've come to expect from the Chinese community.

Let me tell you now, I have tried very hard to find a reasonably priced Chinese chippy that actually has a decent standard of food and this one is pure balance! I tried the Satay noodle boxes (without the pork) and my word are they the real deal! Plenty of meat and vegetables well worth the visit and isn’t stupidly greasy either like a lot of places I also had the salt and pepper chicken too and could not have been happier with those, the only reason why I give it four instead of five is due to small amounts of veg at the bottom that seem to be cabbage but look a taste a little like fluff !!! I’m sure they aren’t but it’s the only let down Happy eating here

New to the area and tried Ming Yip for the first time last night. The food was delicious, good size portions and piping hot. Didn't have to wait long either (though its well worth the wait if you have to!) Found my new Chinese takeaway, very happy 🙂

As a HGV Tramper you visit alot of eateries. You take a chance quite often with what you go for. But be assured this place is superb. I had chicken satay with a bit extra chilli to make it spicier, with boiled rice and side order of fried mushrooms £8 all in.You can tell when your eating fresh food and nicely presented as well, hardly any oil present even in the fried mushrooms...will definitely be visiting again

This is the best Chinese that we have found in the local area. Ordered for delivery 3 times & each time the starters are super portions & the mains are delicious. Always been delivered within the allocated time & very hot.& a nice touch the free prawn crackers & fortune cookies
