My go to takeaway for Chinese food Roast duck with fried rice is delightful

My noodles were so spicy ! No clue why chilli was added could barely eat them

Ordered a large order and it brought back great memories. The Ho Fun and chilli oil were amazing. Only thing that let it down slightly was my egg fried rice had no egg and the beef in the beef ho fun was very tough and chewy, as if not fresh. All the same, I will order again and give it another chance. Thanks EDIT: Ordered a big order and everything was hot, perfectly cooked and delivered early. Thank you for the delicious food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered stir fried noodles with pork... not tasty at all...wasn't even stir fried...cheap oil covering the noodles and pork was overcooked, very bland with a huge lack of asian seasoning. I was told to throw a plastic container (my order) into the bins located outside the street. Rude young Chinese female, not worth visiting.

It was my first time coming here, as I was on my way home, however my toddler wanted some noodles so we order a regular chicken chow mein. It's safe to say he enjoyed it! The lady at the till was friendly and accommodating. In terms of cleanliness, they were in the process of doing a deep clean, from what I could see, which is always a good thing and appreciated! Overall, ill be coming back to try some other menu items! Thanks again!

I love this place, but this order was greasy and cold, very disappointed

Only negative was that I called and asked for NO beansprouts and NO mushrooms, and the 2 noodle dishes came with BEANSPROUTS, after the person answering the phone assured me there would be NO mushrooms or beansprouts!

The second time I'm eating from this restaurant My mother is sick from last night 20.3.24 - 21.3.24 still sick as a dog. We didn't eat all of it.

I've got to be fair I've never had a complaint b4 but on the 20.03.24 I tucked into it as per normal on the third . I realised it was off. Then my daughter comes running upstairs and saying that her meal is off also. Cut along story short. I did call them last night. Rude young lady answered me and hang up. So it looks like when I'm finished coming off the toilet sometime today? I will be returning the food we didn't eat. Just my money back

Really pleased with this Chinese Takeaway. After using the same Chinese restaurant for many years, sadly it closed and have tried several other local ones that fell very short. But now our 2nd delivery from Mings and looking to be our new Takeaway. Food looked good, tasted good and was piping hot too.

The food was tasteless, more onions in chow mien than anything else. Chicken was pale and lacked any flavour.chilli chips…. Hardly cooked, pale, onions (again) peppers just thrown in…. Again a tasteless dish. Pork hk style was good. So disappointed as this lot cost me just under £30. Ming us getting worse. Ban the o ions and start seasoning your food. Looking for recommendations for other Chinese takeaways please.

After requesting delivery for when my wife returned from work, the meal arrived 23 minutes early, so when we sat down to dinner the whole meal was ruined because it got cold, this restaurant cannot deliver and when I called the restaurant I got a rude woman on the end of the phone, not a hint of customer service at all!!!

I have been waiting over an hour and have now been marked as delivered but I have no food the delivery service has been pathetic this evening. I had an ordered cancelled after waiting 40 minutes from McDonald’s this order after over an hour of waiting has told me it’s been delivered and it hasn’t and my other order has been over 45 minutes and the driver has been at the restaurant for 20 minutes or so and still no food from any of the orders

Tried the 2nd time with feedback to the shop and added update Typical Chinese takeaway menu 1st try ordered sea spicy aubergine and salt & chilly squid I was told Sea spicy aubergine is 魚香茄子 and get me excited. When I got it, it becomes sweet and sour aubergine, I am so sock to see a Chinese cook would just hand this out without question. I just disgarded it after trying 1 piece Salt & chilly squid mostly done right except the salt is nonexistent. I mean salt is in the name of the dish Update on 2nd try as everyone deserves at least a 2nd chance This time I tried salt & chilly squid + stir fried beef Ho Fun Gave feed back on the salt & chilly squid. I was told they received comment salt&chilly squid was too salty so reduced the amount of salt... Anyway, this time they make it 95% right. This dish should be dry and has no liquid, the one they sell has small amount of liquid/ sauce in it I was told the Stir fried beef Ho fun is the equal dish to 乾炒牛河. One of the hall mark dish from Canton/ Hong Kong This one dish confirms the chief is not from the area The original one need to be stir fried with high temperature and the Ho Fun (thick noodle make of rice) needs to fuse with sweetened soy sauce perfectly and no residue liquid or oil on the bottom of plate. The high temperature gave the dish signature "chared" aroma to it that one can eat it plain without adding meat or other vegetables. This one I got has a few variations No chared taste, has residue liquid

They do try to get the food to you as soon as is humanely possible & they always do for us - we definitely DO recommend Ming to our friends & a lot of our friends refuse to order from any other Chinese restaurant because the Ming is so good - & we have to agree with them too xx

Poor service, had to call 4 times to check where my order was. I think they had forgot about it but kept lying saying it was on the way. When food finally arrived it was like warm and not tasty at all. I’ve ordered here many times in the past and food was always lovely but it’s done downhill (also checked out there food hygiene rating) so I’ll be finding a new place to order from

Delivered much earlier than expected

Popped into Ming after work,I hadn't been there for 20 years. I ordered set meal A2 which had egg fried rice, sweet n sour chicken & 3 crispy king prawns for £12 and chicken chowmein £4 60 bcos I paid cash they took 10% off so total was £15. I was just getting into candy crush on my phone but very surprised that it was ready and in only 8 minutes ! Got home and everything tasted lovely. So I will be back !

I placed an order 1hour 45 minutes ago and still no food. Restaurant were curt and rude to me when I called to enquire on 2 occasions about my food. If you are too busy to fulfill orders then stop taking orders. Disappointed as I’ve always ordered from here but will now be changing restaurants after this

Food didn't taste as fresh this time round

The food was nice the only thing is the sweet and sour chicken could of been better , there was a few pieces that had no chicken in, and they also forgot my mini veg spring rolls but sent some free triangle things.

The food was lovely, however, they messed up one noodles which I asked with prawns but got chicken. Prawns being £4 more expensive. The delivery was 10 minutes late however the driver was really sweet, so I will close an eye on that one. 🤍

Trying food for the first time and was very impressed with the prompt delivery, courteous driver, and quality of food. Food was nice and hot and schezuan prawns and Singapore noodles were nice and spicy as it says. Often found in other places very bland. Will definitely order again as all the dishes were delicious.

Although a delivery estimate was given. 20 mins after order was placed it showed order with driver on way. But it was another 30 mins wait for arrival even though I live a 7 minute drive from this my local Chinese . Ont know what happened as they are usually very good on delivery.

Usually really nice food but it’s been hit and miss recently

I’m surprised the rating is so low … I always have a great experience with Ming.. I usually order Sweet n sour chicken and their Singapore rice or special chow mein and barbecue ribs & it always tastes delicious 🤤

Most of the food was ok except for the pork dish. The meat in this was dry, tough and totally inedible. Had to be thrown out.
